Hey! :D First I wanted to say: congrats on finishing chapter 2! This comic is so good and beautiful- truly a delight to read!!

I have some questions about War. So he's from Hyrule Warriors alright, so that means he has an understanding of Ganondorf, the Twilight Realm, has actually met Fi (that's gonna be juicy when War and Loft meet) and stuff... That's the base game story. But did the extra storyarc -from i believe the definitive edition?- involving Wind Waker characters happened to War? have he, Tetra and Wake already met?

(i have no idea if this was ever asked or talked about before, hope it's not a repeat!)

hi! okay so I’m gonna be so real here, out of all the links War is probably my most oc-ified. I’m doing something very specific and non canon-compliant with him, which involves mostly pulling what is useful to me from HW canon (and there actually is a lot that is very useful to me somehow) and throwing out everything else 😂 HW is an extremely silly game that I am for the purposes of this comic taking way WAY too seriously.

anyway on that note it’s actually Spirit who ends up in the war of ages instead of Wake. full disclosure, the idea for this originally came from @wutheringmights (hi Frankie I hope it’s ok to tag u!!!) who opened my eyes to the potential of both Spirit in the war of ages and hw link being something like an anti-link. I decided to make my life harder by including time loop shenanigans: Spirit is younger than War for the events of bonus links, and older than him during the war of ages. There’s a couple reasons I did this tho. 1) I didn’t really want the hw stuff to be part of Wake’s story. The timing didn’t work well. 2) I didn’t really want Wake to be part of War’s either. for selfish reasons his story is in part about how having mentor/trusted adults who deep down hate ur guts will mess you up. Wake is too good at being a big brother to make that happen 😂 Spirit is not cut out for handling this, so he’s the man for the job. Maybe there’s an au somewhere where it Was wake instead and all of this turns out a little better lol. Anyway Tetra can’t have been there for similar reasons.

All I can say for sure is that besides Spirit and Mask, Ravio and Midna were also there for at least parts of the war of ages. I don’t like including Marin specifically bc it confirms whether or not she truly existed, which is not rlly something I’m interested in confirming one way or the other for the purposes of the comic. Possibly some other figures like Ruto and Darunia show up as well but don’t quote me on that. I think to the extent that War has met and interacted with Fi, it plays out differently than the game. I want him to have interacted w Ghirahim so badly but I haven’t figured out how to make it make sense yet 😂

tldr this is the point at which I am really TRULY going off the rails from canon and just writing whatever i want. sorry <3 we’ll be getting to all this in the comic soon and hopefully ppl stick around thru it lol

DPXMHA - HEAR ME OUT.

We all know Ectoplasm-Sensei, the guy who wears a trench-coat. Big scary mask, who can create clones. And hear me out, this is the same universe where DP is in MHA.

It's just ectoplasm - the substance - removed all Quirks in Amity Park, and replaced them with Liminality and all of that stuff. So what if Ectoplasm had literal ectoplasm in him, but it was so little and so miniscule that it pretty much GAVE him the ability to use clones. It was so little that it affected what his Quirk would have been given.

Not neutralized, just changed what his Quirk was. Hence why his backlash is that he pukes if he creates too much clones, he's not Liminal enough or Ghostly enough to create so much clones.

So what if something boosted the ectoplasm inside of him?

Something like say, the Crowning of a new Ghost King that all Ghosts and Liminals all around the Multiverse would feel?

That's right - when Danny was crowned and became the Ghost King, the ectoplasm inside of Ectoplasm-sensei reacted and swirled and pretty much GAINED that boost.

So much so that Ectoplasm-sensei flat out collapsed during classes as he kept puking. As well as that green ectoplasm.

So he was hospitalized, but due to not being a Liminal - slowly, but surely, the ectoplasm killed Ectoplasm-sensei.

And he died in the Hospital.

... or so they thought.

Because this is starting to sound ... very familiar, doesn't it?

Someone came into contact with a high-degree of ectoplasm that it hospitalized them, and killed them. Doesn't that sound like a very familiar fruitloop?

So, when Ectoplasm-sensei was announced dead - with many Quirk Doctors uncertain of what could have caused such a tragedy, and as they were ready to put his body in the morgue...

Ectoplasm-sensei gasped for newfound breath.

And he woke up as a Halfa.

They sound SO much like Mario Party music, and when I started thinking about it, ch3 reminded me a lot of Mario Party for the GameCube, which I played a lot of as a kid. Specifically, I drew inspiration from Mario Party 7 since it was such a large part of my childhood. Tenna's design also just screams Mario Party host to me, maybe because he reminds me of MC Ballyhoo. The board is based on Neon Heights from Mario Party 7. Socials/Contact - Redbubble - Commissions

Where have you seen that

I've been thinking...

I've seen the premise of Wind/Tune dying in the War of Eras and then Warriors and Time seeing him again during LU before all of that even happened (Wind has no clue) a couple of times before in fics. But not the other option of either Wars or Time being the ones to die during LU and then future Wind (aka Tune) seeing them again during the War of Eras after.

Just... Thinking about it.

Decided I needed a new change so I dyed my hair! Went from a dirty blonde with highlights to a light amber brown. I have dyed my hair a while back in high school to dark before. I’m pretty excited to go back to my university from my Winter break and see what people say (or if they even notice).

DC XDP prompt

OK, I made a similar prompt to this one for dead on Main earlier, but I want to slightly change it up

Demon twins AU where Danny was sent to the Fenton by Talia, so that Ra’s could not kill him. He and Damian both believed the other two be dead until about age 16, when they meet due to the justice league summoning Danny.

They did the whole reconciliation thing, but the world ended up going into chaos. The GIW destroyed part of the portal, damaging Danny’s grave, and causing him to go into something similar to shock, severely weakening his powers. The league of assassins also made a mess of things, and now Danny and Damian are the only members of the family who are still able to fight. Damian has just sustained a massive injury on his side, and Danny is getting sick the longer he goes without good ectoplasm, becoming almost feral.

Clockwork offers them a deal to go back, but their bodies will carry over all injuries, including Danny being half dead. They will also have to destroy the Lazarus pits, (in this AU, the pits are a natural portal that was forcibly anchored, making it very toxic ectoplasm, similar to mold and poison.) 

They accept, and Danny and Damian wake up. Danny wakes up alone in his room at 10 years old, and Damian wakes up in his bedroom first tonight he ever spent with the Wayne’s.

The problem, is that Jazz finds her brother crying in his bedroom, with lots of scars, and his eyes glowing green. She is trying to calm her adoptive brother down as he cries in her arms, but she can hear her parents downstairs talking about the portal flickering, and has a sinking feeling in her chest.

In Manor, Alfred has gone to wake up the new master Damian, only to find him staring out the window as he bandages an injury on his side that seems to have not been treated before. The angry boy from last night seems to be gone, and his place is a scared child, one who immediately goes into a defensive position when he notices someone entering, before calming when seeing it was only him.
