Enoch O’Connor/reader headcannons

part 2 !

• Enoch loves an old musical (like the sound of music) and you have caught him humming the songs many times but he will never admit it

• Whenever you wear one of his jumpers/cardigans he makes you leave it on during sex argue with a wall

• He loves giving forehead kisses, and he loves receiving jaw kisses as that’s where you reach on your tip toes

• Everyone in the house adores you and in the beginning asked you why you were with him as you’re so lovable and he well.. isn’t. It hurt his feelings a lot. 😔

• He hated any position that he cannot see your face in, he has to feel close to you and connected the whole time and likes to gauge your reaction to things as he is always trying to give you a better experience

• He will sit and watch all of your ur favorite musicals and occasionally if you beg and bribe him enough he will quietly sing the male parts to you in a duet. Knowing them as he has had to endure them so many times

• He sings quietly and in a low deep voice, while you’re belting it passionately, wether you can sing or not, he will only sing very close to you with you cuddled into his side, usually singing into your hair

• When Jake arrived he brought some music with him. Enoch one day discovered his fondness for Joy Division

• He LIVES and BREATHES Joy Division. He basically thinks he IS Ian Curtis

The only times he will actually willingly sing unprompted is sometimes his fav JD songs like Disorder or She’s Lost Control, but he only continued to sing if you join in so that you can drown him out

(Sorry there is so much Joy Division stuff I just believe this sm!!)

• You used to sing him to sleep with songs from the old records which he still loved but now much prefers when you quietly hum the tunes to the songs he likes now

• He hates Jake so much

• When he arrived Miss P chose you to show him around so when Enoch saw this he locked himself away in his room for hours

• He one time saw Jake ask to borrow a bookmark and you had the audacity to actually give him it. Enoch could not believe this act of blatant adultry. It took him ages to talk to you again

• One time after a particularly frustrating day Jake asked Enoch to pass the bread rolls at dinner, Enoch picked one up and lobbed it as his head.

• Once he saw Jake fleetingly glance at you from across the room during the movie so naturally Enoch pulled you onto his lap and wrapped his arms around you for the rest of the night.

“Enoch let me go”

“Why so you can go give him ANOTHER bookmark?”

• He was so happy when he showed interest in Emma, not that he wanted him to stay around but it made him feel more secure about y/n

• One time on a walk they were exploring a little, Enoch and Jake were helping lift everyone down from a tall rock that everyone else was to short to jump down. Jake helped Emma and Olive down as Enoch did t even really like touching the other girls. Anyway. Enoch was distracted helping Hugh down that he didn’t realise it was your turn. He saw Jake reach for your waist and almost bet him up right there. He smacked his hand and glared at him, shoving him out of the way before he looked at you with a small smile taking you by the waist and easily lifting you down. (I’m gonna make an ex trended one shot of that !!)

Enoch O’Connor/reader headcannons!

• When no ones around they will slow dance to the records they have, he always lets her choose which one

• She chooses the same one everytime but he doesn’t mind, that’s their song

• Reader makes him wash his hands strictly before and after even going near his homunculi much to his annoyance

• Reader always sits on his lap/straddles him in a bear hug on his chair while he’s trying to work

• Miss P knows that he can have especially bad days sometimes, so every now and again she will excuse him and y/n and allow them to skip dinner or the movie so that Enoch can relax

• He still doesn’t like going outside so he will literally just sit as the kitchen window completely still and watch y/n for hours

• On the rare occasion he decided to go outside Claire forced him to play tag, which led to y/n finding him face down in a bush as he wasn’t used to running and tripped almost immediately

• y/n never let that go.

• He keeps an old fashioned printed picture (like the ones Abe had) of y/n on him at all times, it was her sleeping and Emma had taken the picture but he stole it for himself.

• They share a room as y/n was the only one he was willing to share a room with and they were running out of space so Miss P begrudgingly allowed it.

• Despite what it seems Miss P actually does like them together, noting that Enoch was much happier with her around.

• Enoch has a childlike wonder for your peculiarity and makes you do it/use it multiple times a day.

• He is a gentleman, as this was the norm for his time, he is always well kept, holds doors, will tie the readers shoes etc.

• y/n and him will often sit on the edge of the island where Millard was killed and just look out at the sea, fantasizing out loud to eachother what it would be like to grow old, listing things they would do and see for hours

• Enoch wanted children a lot, that was always his plan, when you came along you both unintentionally became parents to Claire and Bronwyn.

• Claire and Bronwyn started calling Enoch and y/n mum and dad. They thought it was so sweet and loved imagining themselves as married and with children.

• Enoch was almost distraught every time he thought about how he could never actually marry y/n. He decided he would make do and they had a small silly ceremony officiated by Miss P, in their heads they are husband and wife.

FREAKY

• Enoch again being a gentleman would court you properly and waited a LONG time to do anything despite y/n’s unrelenting pleas, he was scared she would think he was using her.

• Neither of you had done anything before so you learned everything together very slowly.

• However, once you knew what you were doing you couldn’t stop, still having teenage hormones you were never off of eachother, Miss P having to reprimand you many times as you were often late for meals and such.

• Pregnancy was not a problem because of the loop so there were no restraints

• Enoch would be lying if he said he hadn’t tried to fuck you so well that you did end up pregnant.

• Constant make out sessions whenever you possibly could,

- when you were left alone to do the dishes

- when Miss P excused you from dinner early

- in the dead of night when everyone would be asleep

- as soon as you wake up in the morning before you have to go downstairs

• Sometimes you would decide together to wake up earlier the next day just to have more time for sex

• Somewhat of a noticeable height difference (I pretend he’s 6’2 sue me)

• Always carrying you everywhere
