ravenclaw: hair tied up, trench coats, fogged glasses, movie geeks, likes to try new things, watches conspiracy theories until sunrise, thrift stores, coffee stained on papers, addicted to caffeine, artistic/creative, draped in their fluffy blanket while watching their favorite crime shows, believes in astrology signs, sarcastic remarks, dreamy & dazed, road trips at night, sneaks out to watch the stars, likes the sound of rain, adds up the prices of the items they’re going to be and checks the amount of money they have, really good at bargaining, makes friends with people that have the same interest, does further research on a movie/song/any interesting subject, creative ways of cussing, can either be messy or neat, has a movie list but never end up watching them, procrastinates more than they admit, ponders about the meaning of the dream they had the other night, don’t know if they’re laughing or crying, breakdowns before, during, and after the test, rambles a lot but no one really minds, has the most random facts, stays updated on world news/gossip, gets lost in a bookstore/ library, pretends they’re in a music video, round glasses, pastries, constellations, likes observing others, to-do lists, neon sign, likes the sound of leaves crunching

hufflepuff: paint smeared onto hands, legs, & clothing, flower picking, mum’s friend, early bird, hair in braids, oversized hoodies, memorized their orders at their local cafe, names every thing they come in contact with, volunteers, has a diary, studies really hard, really good secret keepers, like to open their window, dance barefoot in a flower field, having a lot of accessories, hand-made presents for their friends, remembers important dates and times, has a favorite candy/snack that they always get, cooks their childhood food when homesick, has emotional attachments with all of their belongings, being neutral when their friends fight, reread their favorite books, has a playlist for every mood/events, no one really understands how loud they are, has a pinterest board that basically maps out their entire life, sugar rush, dragging their friends to dance with them, really good at avoiding confrontations, has a huge admiration for someone that had influenced them to be who they are, had gotten sunburnt at one point in their life, buys holiday theme candies, gift shops, has a box filled with photos, buys the things that they like with their own money, heart-shaped glasses, has a little garden that they guard with their life, strawberry picking, annual pass for their favorite amusement park, makes their own signature drink, pressed flowers

slytherin: yelling out of frustration, happiness, sadness, or nervousness, has a fear of failing, separate folders for memes, standing in the rain, nails digging into their palm, leaving marks, silver rings, dyes their hair a bright color in the bathroom at 4 am, tons of mid-life crisis, raised eyebrows, deep sighs and lots of facepalming, gives it their all, dramatic, teary eyes as they hold back their tears, rebellious streaks, smirks, cold air, the end of fall and the beginning of winter, music blocking out the world, overlapped talking, bustling streets, blowing air onto the car window and drawing hearts, raindrop races, has a reptile for a pet, calls people out for their crap, has a small hidden tattoo somewhere, traditions are important, silent movies, berets, silk night gowns, diamonds, pencil skirts, ripped jeans, unrequited love, fighting with friends then making up while crying, has a strategy when doing homework, stays in a pack of really close friends, rose water, crystal ball & tarot cards, bangs, designer bags, sparkling water, waterfall, has a mini notebook in their backpack, has a really nice vocabulary, museums, greek mythology, has a simple minimalistic lifestyle, amazing poems, secrets, the smell of smoke, thunder storm, cracked sidewalks, lamp posts, chokers

They weren't perfect

Lily Evans didn’t like how pale her skin was. Every pimple, rash, dark circle or bruise looked hundred times worse on her skin and she couldn’t stand the sun. Instead of having a beautiful tan like Mary she turned red as a lobster as soon as she stayed in the sun a few minutes. She once got a sunburn… In January. She regularly used a lot of foundation to cover every redness on her face. Blush was her best friend.

Mary Macdonald didn’t like how thin she was. When she looked in a mirror she couldn’t help but stare at her bones. She could easily count her ribs without even tucking her belly. She looked fragile and delicate like if someone could crash her into pieces without problem. She once tried to double her food portions in hope to win some fat, but it only gave her a few pimples.

Alice Longbottom didn’t like her body. She took weight too easily. When she went to the restaurant and ate too much or when she was stressed her clothes wouldn’t fit her anymore. Her stomach wasn’t flat and she had more curves than the average girl. She once tried a diet which allowed her to only eat green things, but it never worked so she tried that one instead who said to only eat raw things. It didn’t work either.

Dorcas Meadows didn’t like her muscled arms. Sure she was proud of them, she had earn them by working hard and it was a must being a beater. However, girls talked. Some said it looked ugly. Some said it made her look like a man. Her crush once turned her off and told his friends he’d never go out with a girl who had more muscles than him. She was proud of them, but no matter how much she said she didn’t care about those comments she couldn’t help letting them under her skin.

Marlene Mckinnon didn’t like her face. Her lashes were non-existent. Her nose was too large for her face. Her mouth wasn’t big enough. She had acne on her forehead. She thought she looked ugly without makeup so every morning she took an hour only to apply some. No matter what, she never went out without makeup. Even her dorm friends had rarely seen her without it.

Remus Lupin didn’t like his scars. They were all across his body and no matter what anyone said, disgusting. Some were bright red, some had pus. He never took out his shirt in public. He couldn’t stand people’s face when they saw how ugly his skin was. Every time he saw his scars it reminded him of who he was and he hated that.

Sirius Black didn’t mind his appearance. He knew he was good looking and that wasn’t being arrogant it was simply a fact. He used his looks multiple times to get what he wanted or to get away with something. However, that didn’t mean he liked everything about himself. His family made him feel like if he’d never be worth or loved by anyone.

Peter Pettigrew didn’t like being average. That’s how he thought of himself. He wasn’t as handsome as Sirius or as charismatic as James. He wasn’t really ugly neither. He was just average. The kind of boy girls don’t pay attention to because there’s nothing interesting to see. He was just plain, normal, boring average and he hated it.

James Potter didn’t give a fuck about any of those things. At least that’s what he said, but actually he didn’t take criticism well. When someone made him a reproach or insulted him he couldn’t help but take it personal. He thought about it over and over again, trying to convince himself that person was wrong, but a little voice inside his head would never shut up. It kept telling him it was all true.

They were all insecure about something. They weren’t perfect.

Kissing Styles...

James Potter: Very… very eager, but trying really… really hard to restrain himself. Knows how to do fun things with his tongue… has had a lot of practice. All in all… he’s what people like to describe as “fun”… 8/10 

Sirius Black: Knows how to adapt. Can pretty much match anyone’s kissing style, but likes deep, intense kissing the most… Also likes biting and hickeys. As talented as he is pretty. Down for basically anything… An enjoyable experience all the way around. 11/10

Remus Lupin: Nervous. Starts off slow… then kisses like it’s the last time he’ll ever kiss someone because he always feels like it’s the last time anyone will ever want to kiss him… 6/10 when he’s nervous… 9/10 when he relaxes and let’s go. 

Peter Pettigrew: Sweats a lot… too much tongue… 4/10  

Lily Evans: Expert kisser, knows her shit… at least as far as technicalities go… but lacks spontaneity. Get’s flustered when she doesn’t see something coming like James’ tongue tricks… also gets distracted easily (”SHIT! That’s due tomorrow!”)… Overall, needs some work. 6.5/10

Frank Longbottom: Handles you like you’re made of glass… very gentle… very sweet… enjoys kissing the spot just beneath your ear. Hates biting because he’s worried he’ll hurt you. Often stops to stare or chat. Worships the ground you walk on… 8/10 for kissing… 20/10 for making you feel like a goddess. 

Alice Longbottom: Kinky as fuck. 9/10

Dorcas Meadowes: Kinkier than fuck. Kisses like she owns your ass. Also hella gay. 10/10

Marlene McKinnon: Also also hella gay… less kinky. Uses a lot of tongue… but does it right. 9/10 

Mary Macdonald: Mary sue to the max… every kiss is like a reenactment of “The Notebook”. Disney-esque. 7/10

Regulus Black: Untrusting. Tends to panic if things go too quick… or too slow… or not exactly how he planned it. Perfectionist… and a bit of a control freak… doesn’t really know how to adapt to other kissing styles. 4.5/10

Narcissa Malfoy: Reserved… until between the sheets, then she will eat you alive. Mother fucking queen. Savage. Always tops. 10/10

Lucius Malfoy: Fun to look at… Terrible kisser. -5 stars. Two thumbs way down… would not recommend…. 0/10……………. alright… 2/10 for being pretty… Also… submissive af.  

Bellatrix Lestrange: Will rip your goddam lip off. 0/10…. unless you’re into that.

Fenrir Greyback: Will rip your goddam head off. -54/10

Severus Snape: Ew.
