Warnings and Hope

Fascism has risen in America’s land

Delivered through oligarchs hands

First comes the camps for the outsiders

Arrested by ICE, the fascist outriders

Deportation is stymied by home countries

America turning on allies and dispensing with pleasantries

Camps start to concentrate when workers are reduced

Slave labor working fields and products produced

Eventually the turn from ‘work is freedom’

To ���death delivered’ with rhetoric fearsome

Allies get tariffs and prices rise

Put into place with evil lies

Tensions ramp up and soon there are wars

Invading for land and settling scores

Expanding borders while people suffer

The rich are hoarders and everything gets rougher

Taxes rise on the masses and lower for the top

Pressure builds until it explodes with a pop

The next elections much be watched like a hawk

For all of this madness to end and come to a stop

Helpers can hide the pursued if they are quiet about it

People can march and disrupt and riot about it

Support the organizations who show up

Help each other and glow up

For the writers and creatives, create to make hope

To help people effect change and to do more than cope

Journalists can expose the horrors

And lawsuits can be filed by lawyers

Mutual aid for community support

We can get through this if enough of us get aboard

I won’t allow these things to pass without trying stop it

I won’t let this boil grow without trying to pop it

Donald Trump and his ilk are an existential threat

He is burdening us all with essentially debt

We must turn the tables, the sides are set

Good must come out so evil is met

Will you be on the side of the heroes?

Or will you be on the side of the zeroes?

In case you don’t pay attention to the news at all. Donald Trump is president and had admitted to Elon Musk stealing the election for him. Since becoming president Elon has performed the Nazi salute thrice on live TV. Trump had signed chaotic executive orders removing birthright citizenship. People that work in this country and pay taxes have been arrested and put in camps. The original intent for the camps is deportation, but that is also how the Nazis started their camps and they ended up just killing everyone in them so it seems we are heading in that direction. Trans people have been said not to exist. Women are getting laws put in place to kill them if they seek an abortion for any reason in South Carolina. Our clean water rules are getting slashed and burned. While a new pandemic rages, Trump cripples out health agencies to communicate about the Bird flu at all. Prices are rising on groceries because of tariffs. Prices on everything are going to rise while our minimum wage stays at 7.25. People can help by quietly driving people to clinics, hiding the people being detained secretly. They can march and support the organizations marching. Be prepared for police resistance and perhaps bring first aid instead of a phone because they can track you with it. Learn a skill to prepare for an uncertain future. If you can create to help that would be super. We must secure our elections from being hacked as they try to stack the deck. We must legally challenge every decree. We must resist camps and perhaps be prepared to tear them down. Start breaking small rules to cultivate your minds pathways for resistance to rules. Don’t obey in advance. We must create a coalition of many people to stop this from happening. As RedInkQuill I will write in red ink to highlight what I see. I hope those that agree will join me.

Plastic Particles

Timmy pulls out a pack of gum in class and take one and pops it into his mouth and chews. This gathers the attention of the rest of the class and the teacher says to him, "Timmy, do you have microplastics for the rest of the class? If one person has some microplastics, the rest of the class has to have some too." The teacher then takes a drink from her plastic water bottle. Got to stay hydrated. Drink water. Timmy sweats in his polyester clothing. He passes out the plastic treat to the rest of the class. They all chew and watch the teacher teach them about health. She talks of the importance of eating a balanced diet. Later, the custodian comes in and dusts the room, dust that is made up of 39% microplastics. But he doesn't know that, no one knows that...

I want to tell of a world where all the businesses are owned by the people who work there. Commerce is not driven by the most greedy among us, but by the family that wants to raise their children well.

I want to tell of Heaven and I want to tell of Hell. I want to tell this story so well, I ring it like a bell.

I want to tell of a grocery store chain called Oasis that goes into food deserts provides the sustenance in lacking environments. The business is a worker owned conglomerate whose mission is to spread to provide good healthy food where it is lacking.

I want to tell of a library that provides everything that one would need. It is called Longhouse library and it is run by women and it would have lawn equipment, tools, art, and furniture. It would repair things that are broken for the people and would have food gardens in the back that mutual aid societies can grow food from.

I want to tell of a company called Big Sun. It provides publishing services and ways to expand your intellectual property to be collaborated on by other people while still paying the original holder and keeping the world cohesive. It would also buy up technology IP to make it accessible by Big Sun Green, a group of scientists and businesses that subscribe to Big Sun.

I want to tell of a consulting company called Devin and Bell. It gives new life to companies and people by saving the soul of their enterprises.

10 minute rule for your kids

This is something that improves relationships with your children and resolves conflicts in most cases. Do this three step process

1. Ask “What did you like today?”

Listen for three minutes, only saying ‘I understand’ or ‘interesting’

2. Ask “Is there something you wish had gone differently?”

Listen for 4 minutes and say “Thank you for telling me.”

3. Reassuring contact like a hug or caress telling them something positive about your childhood

Do this for 3 minutes

Do this everyday and around day 14 you should see a marked improvement in your relationship. Don’t stop though, keep going.

I got this advice from coach Mary (@coach.maryy) on tik tok. It’s evidently something taught in university to psychology students. Only 5% of parents know this.

How to be a Better Person

Be kind in your everyday life

Try to do the right thing even if it’s harder

Have empathy for other people/things

Be open to new experiences

Forgive minor transgressions

When in power, empower the base of your support

Offer guidance to those who don’t have your wisdom

Anger is just fear that is unacknowledged

Raise your children to be kind

Treat the opposite sex as people like your own

In todays society, empower women

When you make mistakes, acknowledge them and try to be better

Be kind to yourself and others

Know that death is not the end

You will face your triumphs and failings

Life might not have inherent fairness, but the afterlife does

I welcome you to embrace the better parts of your being

Externaized Costs

Business in todays day and age

Is all about externalizing your costs

Costs such as pollution, wages, health risks

And this is taught in schools

But the thing about when it common practice

To push your costs outside yourself

Is that society keeps reaping these costs

And we all suffer collectively

The environment degrades

Plastic falls from the sky and builds up in our bodies

Wages drop and birth rates do too

Relationships between people degrade

Trust falls and scams proliferate

The costs are innumerable

Our society will continue to collapse

If we remain on this path

We must have worker owned businesses

That work for the benefit of society

Not at its expense

My submission

There is too much winning on the fencing team here. They beat every other school and don't leave any winning for the other kids in other schools. Also, there are too many great gym programs at this school. My kids shouldn't be able to learn about volleyball, tennis, swimming, ping pong, climbing, basketball, or dodgeball so well. It's a disgrace. Furthermore, there are too many AP college classes offered at this school. These kids shouldn't be able to get college credit in high school. What are my taxes going to? Educating kids for the workforce, no thank you! Last of all, there are too many extra curriculars in this school. My kids shouldn't be able to learn AutoCAD, how to start a business, or architecture design or film making or photography. There are too many great options for education at this school and I demand that they be shut down so my kids can be uneducated hicks like in other states. New Jersey being #2 in the nation on education is not leaving the other states any self esteem. I demand that we drop down to #49 so Mississippi can move up a spot. That is all.
