Yall know I hate begging for help like this but I’m desperate.

I am currently in charge of childcare for a high support needs child who is nonverbal. I cannot work because of this. I also cook and do dishes for the household, and I am unable to work since I am usually responsible for my sister (the child in question).

My mother is mentally ill and currently working on her mental health, and I do not get paid for when I take care of my sister. I bathe my sister, change her pull ups, feed her, ect. During the school year I also put her on and off the bus.

I am trying to save up not only for top surgery, but also maybe to find a place of my own. I have recently started Testosterone. I am on state medical care, which I am unsure will even cover top surgery.

Not mine.

Time has never healed me. Time has only ever worsened my wounds and made them ache more than ever.

Time was not kind to me. I don’t think it ever will be.

But that’s the funny thing about love and being attached to someone. About having someone be at your side through so much, only for them to leave when you least expect it.

Where do I put all these memories, now that you’re gone? Now that you have left? Where do I put all these memories, all these things I want to share with you?

Sometimes I still find myself thinking “I should share this with (you)”

And before I can stop myself, I’m opening discord and looking for your account.

Then I remember.

Everyone I have ever known will always hold a little piece of my soul. Even if we have gone our separate ways, even if you have said goodbye…I will always remember you. Fondly, at that. Because even if our friendship was ended with just a single message, I will always treasure the time we had.

And sometimes?

Sometimes I still read our messages. Even if you are not my friend anymore, even if you got bored of me like everyone else did…I still read our old messages and I remember that at least you liked me at some point. I still read our old threads and laugh and cry because i will always remember that.

Sometimes I read our messages because I miss you. Even if our paths only crossed briefly, and ending our friendship was as easy for you as sending a goodbye message and blocking me…

Even if you got tired of me…

I’m thankful you were my friend. I will always care about you; even if we are very, very far away. Even if you do not think about me from time to time the way I think of you whenever I get a new idea, or a new au in mind.

I will always remember you fondly.
