why must a fic be "finished" is it not enough for it to be lovingly daydreamed over a period of 6 months.

being on tumblr is like being in a car in a parking lot

like it's technically public, but you're also sorta in your own little bubble, and people have to be Actively trying to listen in order to hear you, if they're even aware that you're speaking at all. and then sometimes you accidentally bonk the horn with ur elbow and suddenly the whole parking lot knows you're a virgin

Need vs. Work

Quick question!!

Do you guys ever feel like you end up writing something easier instead of what you wanted? ?

I often feel like what I am working on isn't quite there, so I make a side project which is simpler and sometimes completely different. Like I have my other idea in mind, but I struggle to materialise it so I do something else.

I was struggling with a fanfic idea and ended up writing a draft for a completely different work while at it. This has happened before, but not to this extent ToT

I feel like people tend to engage and comment more with writing content vs. art content.

Do you guys feel the same, or the opposite? As someone who has posted both art and writing on Tumblr before I feel like writing content is engaged it a bit more.

Subconscious Multiple-POV

I don't mean to do it. It just happens. Every time I wanna write a fanfic it automatically becomes multi-POV story. But not normal POV, but like a narrator who comes from their perspective. So more than just a POV, but not fully 3rd person. I can't tell if it's any good or not. How does it read to others??? How does this even make sense?? Is this normal?

I am just wondering if I am the only one who had a hc of Charlie having brown hair. Like really short brown hair. I often see him blonde in fanart, which both are cute tbh, I just think of his hair as brown.
