Midoriya clenches his teeth and stands, “She didn’t do anything wrong.” Bakugou snarled his teeth, “Oh yeah? So calling your classmate annoying behind his back is just nothing?”

Midoriya gulps again, “So you send her to the infirmary?”

Bakugou rolls his eyes, ignoring Midoriya. He was showing forbearance he hadn’t dared show before, as if Midoriya wasn’t worth his words.

“She cares about you and you know it!” Midoriya nearly yells. “She’s in the infirmary because of you and you don’t have an ounce of remorse? " he says the next few words with a rasp in his voice Bakugou had never heard before, "Some hero you are.”

Bakugou slams his fist on the table, using it to stand up and rush to Midoriya. He yanks his shirt collar, pulling him in close. The tension between the boys is almost visible. “What do you know about my fucking remorse?”

My eyebrows furrow as I give a long sigh, “think what you want. I see him as nothing but an annoying boy who can’t get out of my business." As I gagged on, the girl's quieted. I didn’t notice and continued, “I think he’s a hot-headed, nosey, aggressive, dimwit that has no business talking to me.”

Bakugou was standing with Eijirou at his side, a grim yet angry countenace his face that painted betrayl.

Naojimi: How many times are you going to ask me that question before you realize you aren’t getting an answer?

Bakugou: Why kill Aizawa?

Naojimi: He knows too much. Like you.

Bakugou: Then why haven’t you killed me yet?”

I stay silent for a moment, wondering how much I want him to know.

Naojimi: I don’t kill kids.

Bakugou: So you’ve killed before? Heroes?

Naojimi: Aizawa's no hero.

Bakugou glances at my hand, checking for the lie. But I paid extra attention to keep it still, fucker.

Bakugou: You better start talking before I take care of you myself.

Naojimi: Yeah okay. Try me.

chapter 13 excerpt

Aizawa smirks, “My quirk allows me to erase others quirks, but in large groups that's an impossible ask. I use this,” he motions to his scarf, “This is my partner.” 

I raise an eyebrow, “I don't wanna know your weird relationship with your scarf sir.”

He rolls his eyes, “you could have a support weapon just like this one. It could be a staff, a sword, anything. But before you learn to use support weapons, you need to learn how to control your quirk.” I give an offended glare, “I CAN control my quirk.”

Aizawa's gaze hardens, "your quirk is one fit for a villain. You have zero control over your emotions.”

I laugh sarcastically, “Last I checked- I had none.”

"Get over yourself. You  have two options; listen to me and use your quirk to it’s fullest to protect others as a superhero, or drop my class and get therapy before you turn into a villain.”

I couldn't argue with him without revealing secrets that would get me sent to prison. First: I already am a villain.

Second: Aizawa dies tonight.
