I absolutely love your sonic x twst au!! Its inspired me to make my own sonic au for a different fandom. How did you decide what animal each character is? Im having a hard time deciding lol

YAY!! honestly i think im just a little too sonic brained to the point where immediately upon finding a character i assign them a species of mobian LMAOOO

BUT i also decided based on characteristics of the animal and characteristics of the character!! :3 or if there is an animal closely associated with the character, like how i HAD to make riddle a hedgehog and i just HAD to make lilia a bat, malleus a dragon, and sebek a crocodile, etc. its way easier with preexisting animal associations, but if the character doesnt already have that, just a type of animal that is similar in characteristics! :3 like how i picked an opossum for idia just cause hes very opossum like xP

i think excalibur sonic is sooo iconic so i drew from him and king sonic the most, ive also been a changed person since i first witnessed dark sonics appearance from sonic x as a kid so ofc i HAD to draw upon him just a bit, as for his fun ovb monster i drew again from excalibur sonic as well as the werehog :P
