I kept getting whiplashed reading their descriptions like -#'she's around 40 maybe... hmm no 17 it seems' and 'ah yes a 30-something guy! who's also 17. perfect.' I just don't think it was needed.#but I still thought they were interesting characters and the story was fun to follow along.#shortly after I finished reading the book we got a copy of it in the store. just. chilling. in the bottom of a box.#it's so rare that we get good fantasy and then it just happened to be this specific one??#sadly it was printed in my first language (cringe) but my boss bought it for her daughter so all's well!

I've already had several breakdowns over the dashboard.#(turns out I was on the 'for you' tab rather than the 'following' tab. the theme had changed as well. absolutely insufferable.)#I've felt really unconnected for a while but it actually feels better now? as if my tumblr mutuals was the missing link.#very healthy and hot of me ngl#so. I had a two week holiday this year and they were instantly slurped up. it went so fast!#there was this big football thing the week before my holiday - basically teams of teens come from all around the world to play etc.#I heard a girl tell her teammates that 'I'd love to travel on this bus every morning; happy people all around you; just add some music...'#she was also very excited when the bridge opened. the 'happy people' around her sighed bitterly and leaned back for a ten minute wait.#it is thankfully over now. the bus home is no longer stuffed full of football teams. but it's a fun experience for the players etc etc etc#well. in other thrilling news I went to spy on our sister shops during my time off. to see what they do differently. maybe steal some ideas#one store was like an instagram post with fancy teacups and stylish outfits. who knew a second-hand store could be so boring.#the other was like a man-cave with furniture and a passively-aggressive note by the toys stating that 'if u break it u pay. idiot. tnx<3'.#the man-cave was my favourite :)#rant over now! take care and bye etc!

I just wanna say,,, your artstyle is so very yummy and I’m in love with the way you draw the Dragon Age companions in every game and and and also Kassandra even though I only played Odyssey for an hour and and I haven’t seen any Baldur’s gate yet maybe I’m blind (I highly recommend it it’s an insaaanely good game it’s like a whole DND adventure with a bunch of lovesick puppies (this is a joke, obviously. Thank you for the kindness! Regarding Hades, I have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that it's not my type of game, gameplay-wise. I usually don't enjoy combat for its own sake. The good news is that I did some research, because in this instance I'm perfectly fine with watching someone else suffer with combat. So, at the very least, I did some scribbles for you based on my findings :)
#I am about halfway through the yt playlist so I do not know the full story yet. but I wanted to draw nyx! love her.#I see why it's such a popular title. the art is very nice. I understand why from a lore-perspective but /playing/ it is... uh.....#so I just went from being completely stressed out trying to manage all the (sometimes hidden) deadlines -#(the writer(s) of the fandom wiki pages for the first chapters with the AAC markers - you are excellent and perfect and thank you)#- and then you suddenly have nothing to do for months? m o n t h s!#so you just sit there with the kingdom management for hours trying not to ruin it and burn everything to the ground.#but I still liked the game as a whole?? it's one of those titles I finished while thinking 'never again' but then started to yearn for.#my poor baroness. I made a really disgusting soup this week because several years ago my mom bought these sliced... beet artichokes? I dunno. anyway#they were forgotten in the basement freezer and when I moved I decided to bring them with me and see if they could be eaten#and you can (usually) make a really nice soup with them and potatoes etc but problem 1 was that they were not properly cleaned#and since they had been frozen I saw no clear way to like. fix them. so I popped them in the pot thinking it would all boil apart anyway#and here comes problem 2 - it's all supposed to be blended with that hand mixer thing you know? but I had forgotten it while moving#so I only had my electric whisk available for like 1 kg of root vegetables and almost 2 l liquid all needing to be crushed together#and I could not do it in the pot because it might damage the glaze or whatever so I stood there scooping everything into a bowl#and then tried to whisk it together into a smooth soup with my little electric whisk. I shall tell you that this was not a good idea.#anyway so I have been eating this lumpy yellow-grey mess with bits of peel in it and while writing this I still have three more days to go#every evening has been me going 'if you eat it you can have something nice after ok? don't look at it just swallow...'#and two weeks before this I made a really lovely fake palak paneer and it was a week of bliss and I suddenly started writing a lot#and after that came this soup#it's fine. it's fine. I would be hard pressed to cook anything worse than this for next week. so it's fine.
