If you like judging weird English sentences like this and have 12 minutes to spare on a fun multiple-choice questionnaire, you would be doing me an enormous help if you fill in this questionnaire for my final year linguistics undergrad dissertation!! You get to be at the cutting edge of linguistics research by assigning funny little scores to funny little sentences, and there are no wrong answers :)
An update of Watermelon's 11 fry just 10 days after birth - they've about doubled in size, with each one measuring about 1cm now! Their tank isn't the most glamorous and just has a simple sponge filter and some plant trimmings, but they're fed Hikari first bites 3-4 times a day so they can grow up quickly. They're just vibing!
This is Watermelon! She came with Galax in a pair, heavily pregnant, so I put her in this breeding box to give her some space from the other guppies. Watermelon has just given birth to 11 healthy fry!
My aunt made some cement planters with different moulds and I did what I do best - fill them!
This motley assortment of pots all contain dragon fruit seedlings (dragon fruit come from a particular species of cactus- bet you didn't know that, huh?) They're inexpensive, really easy to care for, and great as gifts! They seedlings stay relatively small as long as they remain pot bound, so they'll look cute and fresh for a long time to come. Seashells and matching gravel polish the look and give the planters a nice finish!
Haven't updated in a long long time! But here's a little something from my recent visit to the nursery - I split a big pot of string of pearls into 6 little pots + an adromischus of some kind!
Here's a close-up shot of my Echinocereus rigidissimus, otherwise known as the Rainbow Hedgehog Cactus. Hopefully I'll get to use this new macro lens I got even more!
