I covered my children, whispering words of comfort, but how do you comfort a child who is terrified of dying in their sleep?

We had to leave. We walked away from everything—our home, our memories, the warmth of our life before. My children left behind their favorite toys, their books, their safe space. Now, we have nothing.

No home.

No food.

No clean water.

No way out.

I went to buy sugar the other day. It cost $20 for just a kilo. Food is disappearing, and the little that remains is impossible to afford. Every day, I fight to find just enough to keep my children alive.

I am exhausted. I am scared. I need your help.

I never imagined I would have to beg for my family’s survival. But today, I am.

I was obsessing over finding this all week I have no idea why but I was. I literally looked every day, every possible search, asked my family members to help me, employed tumblr to help, AND I FINALLY FOUND IT AND IT WAS SO SIMPLE I JUST FORGOT THE SPELLING OF THE TITLE I fr thought I was looking for lost media 😭

okay so this is gonna sound like a fever dream but istg it's a real thing. It was this animated (fake?) trailer for a game about this person's ocs I'm pretty sure. It was called 'sleeping with the fishes' I think and it was about this anthropomorphic fish who is in debt to this other anthropomorphic fish and is trying to pay it off, or else he'll be like killed or something. I think he teams up with two other fish, this one named dartz and the other one was named eelanor. It had A LOT of fish puns. It was also set to the song 'villain I appear to be' by connor spiotto.
