headcanon: the idea is that Adam’s bi awakening was Gansey. Before the start of The Raven Boys, when Adam and Gansey first met, Adam has serious tunnel vision on Gansey. It got so bad that Adam thought that he did have a crush on Gansey. He didn’t actually but the idea was there because he saw Gansey as someone who was so much better and was everything he wished he could be. I wouldn’t know if he ever voiced this to Gansey, but regardless it would explain how easily they can both get into an argument and that it isn’t just to do with the fact that Gansey has money and Adam doesn’t.
