Can you please tell me your NessPaula headcanons? if you ship it of course.

i definitely wasn’t prepared for this ask, but i’m happy to provide whatever my past discord conversations + old google documents has provided me^^

-to start off, i hc ness to be nonbinary and paula to be a trans girl :D

-they don’t rlly do physical affection a lot bc of ness’ boundaries, but every now and then they’ll hold hands or kiss each other on the cheek

-adding onto this, they mainly just show how much they love each other thru just,,, Being w/ each other. like their lives don’t hafta be some greek tragedy, ESP since the war against giygas is over. they can just let loose and act like kids and most of all, love each other in a natural and healthy way 

-paula sews dresses for ness bc we stan a gnc king <3 

-they have different tastes in movies. during movie night, ness would force paula to sit thru a sci-fi film one night and paula would make ness deal with a romcom the next

- ness is a shy/flustered dork while paula is calm and collected. i just Love the opposites attract trope so ofc this is their dynamic. also this is basically canon gfhdjfh i don’t rlly mind her being chaotic, but i think she serves as a voice of reason for ness and maybe even jeff and is more chaotic around poo (i’ve delved into their dynamic on my twt but that’s another story for another day)

-on that note, paula serves as an emotional support for ness and also the voice of reason, but ness is still able to help her when going through a rough time, esp when it comes to her reputation around twoson and the big expectations from the town and even her parents on occasion. both of them help each other out when they need it, and they both happen to be open around others. ness is rather reticent when it comes to venting his problems, but paula can tell when something is off based on his facial expressions. paula isn’t afraid to go to ness for her problems because she knows that a heaping amount of love and support awaits her. 

-paula is very in tune w/ her gender feelings so she kinda helped ness figure out and even accept that he’s nonbinary,, same with him being asexual (biromantic asexual ness is the Best hc, don’t @ me)

-paula likes to tease ness sometimes, which used to bother him until he realized it was just out of love. she usually calls him embarrassing nicknames like nessie. 

-someone already has this hc but i do like the idea that ness and paula’s psi are like stabilizers,, like they can’t sleep w/o each other bc of their psi. i just think it’s neat :D

-i’d say ness and paula understand each other more than anyone. don’t make me elaborate on this, just trust me

-to end this off, ness and paula didn’t have a meaningful relationship until they met each other which is why they got so close in the first place. of course they love their parents, but ness’ dad is absent for the most part and his mom is negligent (another story for another day) and paula’s parents are Very overprotective of her. not only that, but she’s the talk of the town and ness had to deal w/ porky for a hefty amount of years and someone who, while raised in unfortunate circumstances, decided to become shitty can’t be good for someone’s mental health, esp if said friend if over reliant on you and considers you their best friend. so yeah!! ness and paula are absolutely perfect for each other. in fanon terms. kinda wish they had a dynamic in canon fhdjfd

Literally none of my story ideas come with a plot, ever. WITHOUT FAIL, it’s always just an Aesthetic, like two and a half characters, some very, very vivid settings, and a weird concept. Never plot.
