Little update: my bad for not posting as of yet this month. I made a little promise to myself to at least post two chapters a month but it’s late April and no chapter yet. The next chapter is done, probably have to check the grammar and proofread it, but I like having another chapter ready so I’m not just posting the moment I finish writing a chapter. And well, I’m working on chap. 69 and woah, season four is so confusing to keep up with. There’s so many flashbacks and they���re not all in order considering we have Armin’s telling, Mikasa’s telling, and Eren’s side which no one knows about, and also Y/n’s side. I want to make sure there’s no plot holes and that I’m getting all the info right. Plus, I am writing the flashbacks in a different order from when they are (from when they are being recalled).

I knew this season would be hard, but damn, I keep going onto Reddit to find explanations and timelines. Did you know Eren was in jail for month? And I think Gabi and Falco too…Idk that’s what Reddit is telling me. I had to make my own timeline too because omg…THE AMOUNT of flashbacks I have to include, and not just the cannon ones…

Anyways, I hope to have chapter 68 up before this month ends.

Little life update: I had a major busy weekend. I met Bryce Papenbrook, Eren’s English VA. Jessie James Grelle, Armin’s English VA. Griffin Burns, Colt’s English VA. AND Romy Park, Hange’s Japanese VA!!!!! All of these people were so sweet and kind. Especially Papenbrook! I also went to the AOT (i think it’s called) Beyond the Walls, Orchestra concert! I’m definitely fueled up to write aot content.

For my absence I have this. Gabi having a nightmare/ dream where she is going to defeat the evils of the Jaeger twins and avenge Falco who has been turned into a shifter by the devils of Paradis. What can be taken from this is that Y/n has a messy appearance going forth season four. (She has no strict description in the fic, ofc.)

Wow already at 67? 😢 I remember when I was writing the first few chapters back in 2020/1 when I went on hiatus to rewrite what I had at the time…Or when I was writing chapter 37 (iykyk) thirty chapters later and look where we are now 😭😭💔 idk what I’m going to do once IWPU is over…

I’m so excited to keep working on season four and continue adding to the new character Alan! Oh and another brand new character who will play an important role 🤫 hope you don’t mind all the ocs (Alan technically isn’t an oc…hint hint)

Guys I’m tweaking- I want to write in 2nd pov because it just flows so much better during Y/n Mika scenes but I’ve written like the whole story in third POV or 1st (for some reason) 😔 I feel like I suddenly start writing in 2nd pov it’ll be such a big shift. Damn why didn’t I pick 2nd pov back in 2020 when I rewrote the fanfic to what it is now?

The soon to be future cover of IWPU is finished!

All that is left is to make it/edit it into the cover! I’m quite happy with how it looks! The shading on the clothes could’ve been better but I didn’t have good reference for it so I just eye balled it. (Won’t be that noticeable in the cover ratio)

I like how the black background looks. Debating what color to make the cover 🤔 I do like the red one since it reminds me of when Armin and Eren were talking at the end of the series.

Lovvvveeeee how Mikasa’s expression came out. Along with Y/n’s! I guess this is a spoiler to what Y/n will be wearing in season four…Mikasa wears the same just being a dude.

Also, a great song to listen to is “Tasogare no Rakuen” by Linked Horizon. It may or may not make an appearance in the fanfic! 🤔

Just as a reminder, the cover will be changing when season four starts to get published which will most likely be in December. Probably around or on Christmas! (Maybe I’ll draw something for y’all as a gift 🎁)

Published chapter 61 which marked the end of season three pt 2!

A lot of things happened during that season which includes (most notably) my absence for a year…Cameron’s backstory was very time consuming to write even though it was all planned. But I’m very happy to have it done and published! Now we await what season four brings Y/n and M!Mikasa.

As I showed at the end of the chapter, here’s a WIP of the future cover art for the fanfic IWPU. Inspired and referenced from A Huguenot, on St. Bartholomew's Day.

I’m having a lot of fun making this since I’m finally rendering something and not just doodling. I hope to have it finished and up on wattpad by the time I start publishing season four!

I’m still planning out the timeline and school is about to start in a few weeks. If I’m not able to post chapters then I’ll try to feed y’all some m!Mikasa art 😭

Chapter 49 has been posted which marks the end of season three-part two of my fanfic IWPU. At the end of the chapter I announced that I’ll be posting seasons one and two of the fanfic onto AO3. I’ll still be publishing on Wattpad since it’s my main platform, so need to worry that I’m switching platforms. I’ll be editing the story before posting it onto AO3, it’ll just be a cleaner version of the current story with less mistakes and more to my liking. (Nothing major) And I also said this at the end of the announcement…If I ever decide to write smut in IWPU (which would take place in season four) the chapter that contains the smut will only be published within it on AO3. The Wattpad version would not have it. I make no promises that IWPU will eventually have smut between Y/n and Mikasa since I don’t want people only reading for the eventual smut. —Once I’m done with season three-part two, season three will be published onto AO3 as well. It’ll take me some time to reread all the chapters and make edits, but I thank you for your patience as always. ^^

I’m taking too long with writing season three…I’m writing ch.42 now and that’s around episode “Sin” in the anime. And I’ve been on hiatus for like, six weeks I believe. But within the past six weeks my book has been getting more attention, and I’m very surprised with how quick we got to 160k reads! ^^ Thanks you guys!

I think I will be able to get up to speed with writing once I’m done with the lore within season three and I’ll get back to publishing sometime after it. So far I have five/four pre written chapters but as I’ve been saying in previous posts, I’ll be going back to makes changes.

Thank you for patiently waiting while I’m trying to get the story together right now! Here’s a drawing of Eren and Y/n (she doesn’t have a direct design within the fanfic, she has your features h/c e/h, etc, dw) since the two are siblings Eren is recalling how angry Y/n can become. It was so haunting to see Grishas mental breakdown after killing the reiss family in the anime. You only got some of it in the manga but holy shit you really see just how broken he became after being forced to murder and entire family.

How I feel when I’m writing season three of the fanfic…Especially after writing ch.40. It mentally drained me but at least I don’t have writers block. As I said in another blog post, season three will be the hardest season for me to write, I have to fit in original plots and lore while keeping true to the cannon, and make sure everything fits the timeline. Plus I have to decide what to cut out from my original plot to keep important things in. And because of this, like I said on my Wattpad, I’ll be on hiatus until I have a handful of chapters pre written. BUT I’ll likely extend it till I’m almost done with season three part one. This is so I won’t have to go back to fix things when I notice a mistake in the lore. And so I don’t go crazy. I have point A and point B down, but I don’t know how to get to point A TO point B. Omg and i have to make sure I don’t reveal everything this season…how did Isayama do this…pray for me…

No promises but I’ll try to post a oneshot here and there for you guys in the meantime.

I’m making this man’s life worse with my fanfic…Hopefully y’all understand why I’ve had Grisha as my profile picture for so long now, he’s one of my favorite characters. Probably why I write so many father-daughter scenes of him and Y/n in the fanfic…obviously no reason behind it…

MAPPA really did a good job in this episode, the music, movement, and overall emotion they put to this scene. Grisha’s voice actor needs a raise.
