Omg I’m actually done. This was harrowing in how long it actually took me. The art gods were clawing at my back. 17 hours… gods help me. I’d love to do more work on this but I feel the call to draw other stuff so I had to wrap it up. Honestly I just wanted it perfect but ughhh. I couldn’t.

Felt like I made Sebastian too pale here but it is what it is. This was just a little dedication to my favorite HL creator. Literally watched their oc story backwards but gods am I hooked! Based off Sebastian’s birthday episode :)

a question but also an idea dump

has there been a Kakashi time travel fic to his time in Team Minato and he's scared or overly cautious of Obito? Like I'v seen a couple where he is just either very nice to his team mates or he's going through trauma hell to be very jumpy over everything. But like, is there one where he is just kind of fresh out of the war or during the fourth war and the first thing he wakes up to is his old team?

Minato which, while dead, he still saw and had some sort of closure with him

Rin, depending on when he traveled back, is a girl he spent years regretting her death but understood through years of friends helping him that she made that choice, or saw her ghost, and is stable now of his feelings about her

Obito on the other hand? Obito who he despaired for years, who he based his personality and character on, who turned out to be the killer of his second family, who hurt his village and friends, who started a world with the world, who wanted him to essentially kill him (the same way he did with Rin), and if we go further, who died after he saved his students when Kakashi was willing to be that sacrifices instead.

Honestly, I think he would have fresher newer trauma from Obito all over again. I think Kakashi would have spiraled if Obito lived after the war, yes maybe he will forgive him or whatnot but you can't tell me he wouldn't have some sort of complicated resentment for all that he did and the impact it had in some sort of twisted way in his life. Kakashi is a shinobi, he is an adult, he has trauma. He will not just feel one type of emotion for other people because he himself knows to see the world in a shades of gray. But emotions are a funny think and they take time to react and mask them.

So imagine Kakashi back to his younger days and the first thing he sees is Obito yelling at him, getting angry at him, blaming him

You know what most people talk about when it comes to trauma? Flashbacks. But for Kakashi, he's flashback was real and staring right back at him.

He will attack Obito, maybe run, maybe keep fighting him, to kill or defend himself? I don't know, you usually don't know when you are faced with the face of your trauma yelling right in your face when you are at your most vulnerable.

Needless to say, Team Minato is very concerned for their youngest.

Trying something new, movie posters and halftone really took ahold of me. Idk how I got back into DN but here I am. I have like 9 different ideas now and definitely not enough time during finals week to do all of them. Though it was really fun not doing something realistic for once. Very simple.

It was really fun doing this. Idk man I suddenly got the urge and while I still am much more comfortable in traditional media and b&w only; it was still majorly fun. I think the fact that my college final is in all color is what inspired me. But gods do I hate figuring out how to color line art.

First time I actually finished drawing a person. Loved doing the lightning. I’ve been on a Kakashi streak and honestly took me 4ish hours so quite fun!

I agree with this, I think for years I tried to comform to the usual standard of "oh outlines should look like this" like its some strict military farce of a campaign. but honestly it just never worked. Im sure for a few people the standard strict A to B outlines work but sometimes you just know one section of your whole story, sometimes you only have a vague idea. and thats totally okay, writing isnt for the weak and outlines can make the strongest want to give up before they even started. Ive had works that stay in the outline stages because I just feel they have to be perfect. like- they don't. I quite litterally found out you just have to throw yourslef at the imaginary paper wall like Kim Dokja and fight tooth and nail with your brain until you will it into submission. Some days are easier than others- and if you need to take a break from writing thats okay too. Write at your own pace and use an outline if you so want to.

If you hate writing outlines it's because of how they're taught in school. Toss out indentation and Roman numerals and map out your writing how you want to. Outlines are your FRIEND, dammit. This goes for everything, from political essays to fanfiction. If it's written you need an outline because the outline is for you. It can be general, vague, or a mixture of both! Be as informal as you want, who cares. They're to keep you on track and keep your writing flowing, so don't disregard them even if you dreaded making them in grade school. My outlines by chapter tend to look like this: 1. Character "P" goes to the diner to meet character "Q."

2. "P" tells "Q" about how the confrontation went. (dialogue I thought up on a bus ride) That's when shit goes DOWN. They're yelling, they're drawing attention to themselves, but before they can take it outside, "P" says (dialogue I thought up in the shower).

3. THEN "Q" SAYS THAT ONE LINE THAT "R" SAYS TO HIM IN CHAPTER FIVE BECAUSE THAT'S CALLED COHESION WOOOOO

4. idk they both leave??? you'll figure it out later

5. Self-reflection for "P." Keep your main point on how his moral compass goes to extremes and hurts others. He finally is realizing that HE is the PROBLEM

6. "P" drives to "Q's" house to apologize but GUESS WHO ANSWERS THE DOOR it's "R" and then just end the chapter there This is coming from someone who didn't write with outlines for years. Now I don't write anything longer than 400 words without one! Make them your own, make them so that they're useful to you. That's their purpose, so accept the help!
