Y'all ever think Jake might be a convulsive liar-

Not in like he lies all the time to get away with things , but in the way that he's been doing it so long to hide his dragon side from his dad, his friends (formally), and humans in general-?

Idk why but I've just been thinking about it since a few hours ago-

Like for Hailey, I think she would have told just based off of the "Year of the Jake" episode where she was gonna say she's a dragon after getting fed up with their dad (Johnathan). Personally I think she would be too busy with being 'perfect' to even think about her dragon side since she's not really doing much- I don't think keeping their dragon half secret was really a big deal to her until she had to take temporary role of the American Dragon when Jake wanted to be normal- yes side tracking for a moment : personally I think after that episode she gained more respect for Jake in a way

But yeah , back to Jake- I think he subconsciously does it- like if we were to have a season three I think he's gotten so used to making excuses and such to a point where it's second nature in a way.

I'll always feel bad for Jake 😔

Personally I feel like his family didn't really care (besides from Johnathan since he didn't know he married into a family of dragons) , and I don't mean 'don't care' in a negative way but in a way they don't see his role as the America Dragon drains him- if I was Jake I'd be jealous of Gregory too- fighting bad guys and stuff and all Gregory had to do was get his dragon powers to sit at the grown up table??? And then they all cheered when Gregory made the shark lady run away??? Like- did the extended family forget that their dragons and are supposed to protect magical beings??

Sorry for such a long rant but I feel like this needed to be said-

Yes there are episodes where Jake does make the wrong choices and I get it , honestly I do , but seeing his life- id probably personally make rash decisions too-

So yeah- there's my complex rant about adjl--
