I was walking through the front entrance after speaking to professor fig about the book and the missing pages, while walking down the staircase I see Sebastian and he looked excited and got off the ground quickly and walked over "Y/n!" He beamed as I walked over "hey Sebastian" he took out a letter and smiled "I'm going to Feldcroft this weekend to visit Anne, it's been a while since you've seen her so I thought you'd like to join" I sighed "maybe another time but I do have a question but we would need to talk later, I'm meeting ominis." He nodded "alright, have fun" he looked sad in his eyes but he had a smile, odd.

I looked past Sebastian to see Ominis sitting on the fountain deep in thought. I passed Sebastian and headed towards Ominis. As I got closer I could see his smile slightly and look towards my direction as he held his wand, blinking ever so often. "Hey love" he stood up and reached his hand out towards me so I took it. He leads me outside of the courtyard towards the side heading to the lake.

When he arrived at the dock, he managed to get me against a tree and leans in close with one hand on my hip and the other on part of my neck and my cheek, he was doing it to feel my pulse and feel the heat on my cheeks, "What does sebastian want with you dove" he spoke soft above a whisper in a husk tone. After a long day of classes along with the extra assignments, I was walking through the corridor heading outside and I turned to see Ominis and Sebastian heading behind the staircase of DATDA and decided to trail them. As I got closer Sebastian head shot towards me and he's eyes widened but then he smirked and motioned me to go follow ominis instead of him so, I did. Ominis stopped causing me to bump into his back, he spun around and placed his hands on my forearms.

I giggled as he lifted his eyebrows amused "so is this what you meant we will find each other later" he smirked "maybe" I bit my lip and moved a piece of hair that fell in front of his face then took a step back shaking my robe off "imma get more comfortable, would you like help?" He blushed and took off his own robe and sat it on a box so I shrugged and leaned into him and placed mine with his.

As he looked amused he sighed "I heard what you said to sebastian earlier. What type of question would you need to ask him and not me?" I giggled figuring out he was jealous. Ominis became confused "what? Why are you laughing?" I reached out to him and grabbed his hands "oh nothing just something I thought of" I spoke in a teasing manner.

I then him a kiss on his cheek. his eyebrow twitched as he pulled me closer and pushed me against the nearest wall "what was it you thought of" he asked with his lips grazed my jaw as one hand held my hands above my head and the other was on my collar bone with his thumb near the center of my neck.

I bit my lip and he started to kiss my neck softly and slowly like he was waiting for permission, but when he got to a certain spot I gasped and shuddered slightly. After all that I ended up back in the library and saw Sebastian getting reprimanded.

Sebastian and I met back up in the undercroft and talked about what happened, what I found, he taught me confringo and then I helped in Feldcroft talking with Anne and Solomon but it didn't end well. When we came back to the castle we walked back to the common room and went into my dorm and started feeling bad about not being able to spend much time with Ominis these last few days.

I walked down the hall and saw Ominis sitting with his back on the wall and his head in his hands. I think he was so deep in thought he didn't realize I sat down until I placed my hand on his and my head on his shoulder. He tensed up then took a breath, she smiled "hello love" he leaned back as I readjusted so one leg was straight and the other was later crossed next to his.

I fell my leg lay upon his as I pulled out the book we were reading, or more like I was reading to him. He seems to have gotten a whole lot more touchier for the past few weeks.

A few days later Sebastian seems to be having an issue with Ominis, so when Sebastian asked me to meet up with him outside the Slytherin common room to chat about something that may help Anne. When we went there, I saw Ominis down the hall "what's going on sebastian" he looked down "well, i need you to convince Ominis to help find Salazar Slytherins Scriptorium so I can get his spell book so please Y/n help me get the book to help Anne" he begged as I sighed and nodded.

I turned towards Ominis and walked towards him, he took a breath "let me guess sebastian sent you here to talk to me" I grabbed his hand "yes, he was blabbing about this um scriptorium" his eyes widened "he told you! -he scoffed- of course he did!" He ran his other hand through his hair as he gently squeezed my hand "i will be with you the whole time -I took a step closer- I know you want to find out what happened to you aunt along with the possibility of helping Anne" I took another step closer.

Close enough to feel his breath on my cheek. "I- I don't like this idea but fine. I'll tell you, go get Sebastian" I gripped his hand lightly and turned around slightly jogged over "sebastian!" He ran over and dragged me with him back to Ominis "you tell her that easy! I practically begged" ominis grinned slightly "She told me what I needed to hear" he sighed.

Ominis reached for my hand and I grabbed it, he told us how to get in. We got through all the puzzled doors with the fire and we reached this one room, that had a broken relief which I fixed and ominis tensed up. "Ominis is everything ok? I looked towards Ominis then to Sebastian worried. Then I remembered the way the Gaunts talked sometimes.

I sighed "Ominis you might need to speak that one language your parents spoke a lot when it was related to Salazar" i bit my lip after I said it when his brows furrowed "i can't believe I'm doing this" he turned away from me and sebastian as the hissing began. The door moved "Ominis you possess a rare ability, its incredible" he blushed " between the two of you I'm starting to feel left out" sebastian cut in.

Ominis became confused "between the two of us?" Sebastian looked like a niffler caught stealing coins "i- uh- never mind" he looked at me and mouthed an 'I'm sorry' I waved it off as it didn't bother me. We had to solve more puzzles but this time they were timed, and found that out the hard way but at least I didn't make any more mistakes. We made it to a door but when we all entered the door locked behind us.

Sebastian led the way as him and I saw 'Crusio' etched into the ground along with a door that screams can be heard from, and human bones lay on the ground with a note, I read it and looked towards him "Ominis, you aunt, she was here but she didn't make it out and crusio is etched into the floor" I spoke softly. Ominis eyes wide as he started to panic slightly "I knew it! I knew it! -he got angrier- this was a bad idea and now we may all die here along with my aunt! I told you sebastian and if anything happens to her -he points directly towards me- I'll never forgive you" His voice cracked slightly at the end of his rant.

Sebastian pulled me to the side and told me either him or I needed to talk to ominis about the way to get out using crusio, so I walked over. "Ominis i-" he cut me off "I heard what you and sebastian were talking about, I can't do it absolutely not! I made a promise to myself never to be involved with dark magic ever again, after they used them on us! I care about you to much!" His voice cracked as he cupped my face with eyes glassed over and pressed his forehead on mine.

I gave his a sweet kiss and smiled, "give me a moment" I walked over to sebastian and he was pacing but then he stopped and looked at me "I could teach you the curse" my eyes widened at the sudden outburst "wait you didn't say you knew how to cast it!" He sighed running a hand through his hair. "I do but not sure. As I said i could teach you" I looked over at ominis who had his wand out and was fuming "Sebastian! Don't do this you'll never forgive yourselves if you cast that horrible forsaken curse! Especially on her!" he stopped yelling as i wrapped my arms around his torso, with my wand out. "-I, I can't let you do this dove, I lo-" a few tears fell from my eyes as i placed my wand on Ominis's chest and whispered "Petrificus Totalus".

As I pulled away I saw the look of betrayal and worry appear on his face and sadness in his eyes, I wouldn't let him slam to the ground so I laid him down as tears fell from my eyes "I'm sorry love, I'm so sorry". I stood up walked towards Sebastian and sighed "I want to know the curse -I said above a whisper- but I can't cast it on you, you'll have to cast it on me." I spoke calmly looking straight into his chocolate brown eyes. "Y/n i -he looked down for a moment then back at me- I owe you truly" I closed my eyes to prepare myself as I heard movements where sebastian stood, nothing.

I opened my eyes to see sebastian with his wand raised and then hatred in his eyes. "Crusio" he yelled out as the beam came towards me I saw ominis running up to me with fear written all over his face trying to beat the curse but to no avail. It struck me for longer than I anticipated, it felt worse than when I was a child and it gave me flashbacks on that night when my father killed my mother, ominis and I were tortured. It all happened again in that very moment.

(Ominis's P.O.V)

I felt my body freeze as the girl I love said "Petrificus Totalus" I began to fall but she gently laid me down as I felt drops hit my face she quickly wiped them away and stood up walking back to sebastian. She mumbled something I couldn't hear but then he soft voice rose, "I can't cast it on you, you'll have to cast it on me" she spoke calmly, it scared me thinking of her screams from back then

I squirm slightly as my body starts moving "Y/n i -he paused- I owe you truly" I managed to get my balance and start rushing over there- then I heard it "Crusio!" Sebastian said it, he said it with so much hate it unnerved me truly. I heard her screams and rushed over to her for something to fall onto me, that's when I realized it was her. She was shaking and whispering about the night she disappeared, watching her mother die. 'I always thought she got away too, so Y/n was alone for a long time...' I realized in my head.

He actually sounded concerned considering the venom that left his mouth when he cast the curse on her. "Why did you sound so haste when you cast it! Why did you hold it on her for long!" I yelled angrily towards Sebastian as he just stayed quiet.

My heart leaped from my chest when I felt her shift in my lap and I guess sebastian didn't realize "I had to mean it! You have to understand that! You know you have to in order for them to work!" He exclaimed and shook slightly "You only needed to cast it on her for a few seconds not a full damn minute!" She grabbed onto my arm as I felt the wind of her shooting up and groaned after doing so.

(Y/n P.O.V)

All I can hear is ringing, my vision is still blurry but I feel a hand on my cheek while I lay in someones lap, I think shouting but it's muffled. I take a breath and reach out and grab Ominis's forearm as I sit up quickly from his lap and groan. "Are you alright?!" sebastian and ominis blabbered out when I blinked a few times. "That pain, it was worse than before -I winced standing up with the help of the two- I wish to never go through that again"

I felt ominis wrap his arm around my waist as we walked in "we actually made it" sebastian beamed "yeah well at what cost!" Ominis fired back and his grip tightened slightly causing me to wince. He looked towards my whine "i-im sorry" he spoke panicked "its all ok -I placed my hand on his cheek- I'll be ok" I smiled still feeling every bit of pain, trying to play it off.

Sebastian called me up so i walked over to see a letter that Salazar has written about the spell book which caused Sebastian to rip though the Scriptorium looking for it but little did he know I had it. "Um, Sebastian i-" he rushed up "what?" He questioned frantically "I have it" I showed it to him and he smiled "oh! Thank merlin" he took the book right from my hands, then put it away and hugged me tightly as I felt him place a kiss on my temple for a few seconds "I'm glad you are ok, I'm sorry" he let me go as I stood shocked.

Ominis came up and we left that horrid place. Ominis had his arm around my waist "we are never using dark magic again! We are never going back there either" Ominis ranted clinging to me as if he were to let go I'd disappear. "Ok ok fine" sebastian waved his hands "don't worry" he then walked away leaving me and ominis alone. "Damn, we can't take you to the hospital wing. They'll know we were using dark magic, we need to go to the undercroft." he spoke softly as he led me with my exhaustion from the curse catching up to me.

When we arrived Ominis conjured up a comfortable bed and laid me down on it, I took off my robes before I laid down. Before he could leave I grab his wrist "s-stay please" I mumbled blushed and looked up to see his cheeks a tint of pink as he took his robe off along with slipping mine off the bed and placing them to the side. He then felt around the sheets to make sure he wouldn't hit me as he climbed into the bed.

It ok we are going to need to get used to it when we get older” i said quickly then covered my face with my hands and he chuckled and hugged me.

After we turned 9 our parents told us we had to follow them into the Gaunt family sport. One night they dragged Ominis and I towards this strange room which had screaming on the other side. I looked over towards Ominis and reached for his hand but that didn't stop either of us from being scared of this room as the doors were opened and we were walked in by my parents, I then saw Mr. and Ms. Gaunt with their wands to 3 muggles who were crying and laying on the floor groaning in pain. I looked at my parents in horror hoping we wouldn't have to join in. Mr. Gaunt looked over at us and grinned “Ominis, come over here and cast the Cruciatus Curse on that woman” I followed his finger and saw a cowering woman shaking in fear, I looked back towards Ominis wide eyes. “M-mr. gaunt please” my dad squeezed my shoulder with a tight grip, i whimpered at the pain

Ominis looked over in this direction the best he could. “Ominis do as you're told!” He looked towards his father, “No, I don’t want to!” Mr. Gaunt looked furious and clenched his jaw as tears slipped down Ominis's face. “Do it boy.” he said in an aggressive tone and Ominis shook his head no looking down, i bit my lip on the verge of tears. The next thing i hear is “Crusio” from Mr. Gaunts mouth as Ominis screams out and falls to the floor, I couldn’t take it and ran over to Ominis’s shaking body and placed my hand on his shoulder to comfort him and shielded from his father, “move you little brat” Mr. Gaunt exclaimed while pointing his wand at me with a crazed look in his eyes. I shook my head with tears running down my face “N-no! I shouted, then next thing i know is i'm in so much pain my body gives out on me and all i could do was scream. I felt Ominis reach for me then I felt my body being picked up, as my vision cleared up I saw my mom carrying me and running.

I blink a few times and we are now at our house packing and she's freaking out making sure I'm ok then grabs my hand and we ran towards the carriage and I saw a horse with wings that looked very skinny “h-hey mom” my voice came out squeaky and raw. She shot her head towards me and placed me in the carriage and smiled softly, “honey don’t try to talk just drink this and lay down” she handed me a green liquid in a long bottle and drank it feeling better i scooted in and layed down. I looked towards my mother to see my dad running down with his wand out along with Mr. Gaunt, who was right behind him, aimed his wand at me and yelled “Avada Kedavra!” I see my mom jump in front of me as the winged horses took off as the door slammed shut. I had no idea where I was going nore what just happened but I sat in the corner with my knees to my chest and cried.

-Ominis P.O.V at 8 Years old-

As I layed on the ground groaning in pain, I felt (Y/n) be picked up as her rosy peppermint scent faded away and heard heels run out. I sighed in relief as tears fell down my face from the pain, I listened as (Y/n)s dad started to freak out and i heard footsteps walk over to him “Argus we need to go after Charity and (Y/n) before they get away and spill to the ministry” Argus and my father ran out. I struggled to get up but I limped after them, I made it half-way down and heard both Argus and my father yell “Avada Kedavra!” I heard (Y/n) scream and it echoed in my ears and I screamed out and ran towards them and felt arms wrap around me “Calm down boy she's gone!” I scratched and clawed at his arm while squirming to get away but to no avail. I got dragged back towards my house fighting then got locked in my room.

-Ominis 11 Years old-

I gathered my things to get ready to head to Hogwarts, i kept thinking i can’t wait to get out of here, while I waited for Sebastian and Anne so we can head together, my mother placed her hand on my cheek “good luck my little snake” i could hear the grin on her face knowing I would be in Slytherin. I sighed and headed out the door towards the Sallow twins and left for Hogwarts. When we got there I took my wand out to help me navigate along with the Sallows explaining what everything looked like in detail so I dont trip nor run into something. As we continued to walk the more I wished that (Y/n) was here. She was amazing and navigated me and kept me safe. The twins did their best but (Y/n) knew me and I liked the way she spoke softly while explaining the world to me and even helped me with our favorite place.

As we waited to be sorted I only wished (Y/n) was here with us and I could tell they do too. Anne went first out of the three of us, “You could be great, you know. It's all here in your head there's no doubt about that but, you have a mischievous side to you that stands out the most. You belong in, Slytherin!” Then there was an uproar of happiness and the headmaster had to shush them all for them to continue. I was next so when I walked up and sat down then the hat was placed on my head “Hmm you have potential but you're afraid of something, you are cunning and clever, you belong in, Slytherin!” I sighed and walked over using my wand to get seated along with Anne’s help. Sebastian walked up next “Well, you seem to be very ambitious, clever, and determined. You belong in Slytherin!” Anne had a small celebration that her brother would be joining us as did I.

-Ominis 14 Years old-

Before I even reached the Sallows I could feel something was off as Sebastian and Anne weren't already outside like they have been for the past 4 years. I suspected something was wrong so I knocked on the door and Soloman answered "I'll get Sebastian" he sounded distraught and tired. So I followed him inside and continued to keep my wand out getting a feel for the area and stopped when I heard "Soloman I don't wanna leave Anne! Especially with her like this!" Sebastian sounded like he'd been crying and Soloman sighed "look Sebastian I'm sorry but you have too, for Anne." Anne then moved around in the bed "go sebastian, just send me an owl ever so often" she had a smile on her face but started coughing and sebastian grabbed his stuff then grabbed my arm and dragged me up as he sped walked to the station.

~Y/n 14 Year old~

I was adopted by a lovely couple named Blair and Collins AshTail. I sat in my room window looking out towards the streets and I looked over to see an owl on the light post with a letter in its mouth. I opened my window and it flew over to me and dropped the letter. I smiled and gave it a quick pet before it flew off. I opened the letter and it read

After I read this my jaw dropped and I ran out of my room and downstairs "Blair! Collin! Look what I got." I ran over to them and showed them the letter. Blair looked so happy and she hugged me "I'm so happy for you honey, I hope you enjoy your time there as I did." I looked over at Collin and he looked proud.

°•A Few Months Later•°

Professor Fig arrived and took me to a place, gave me a second hand wand as the tutoring began. It was hard at first but then things got easier. I told Professor Fig about my childhood and what all happened and how my father is still out there and not in Azkaban. So Professor Fig taught me most of the spells, how to cast them, and learned about the magical plants and their properties and what they are capable of or well to the best of his ability.

As time continued Fig and I became friends and he kinda became a father figure. One day a man named George Osric met us in a secret alleyway where we were preparing to leave in the carriage to Hogwarts, George revealed a item that was glowing for some reason and was talking about how his late wife sent it to him in desperation, “may i see it for a moment” George nodded and handed it to me and it opened almost instantly, there was a key inside. Professor Fig grabbed my arm and realized there was something special about me. But then something unexpected happened, a dragon attacked and destroyed half of the carriage causing us to fall out but Fig and I had a hold of the key and we were transported to a mysterious cliffside.

Then we ended up finding a mystical mirror to a private entrance of Gringotts Wizarding Bank, where we saw a sleeping goblin. “Excuse me sir?” I spoke softly, startling the goblin awake, we showed him the key and he took us to Vault 12 were he locked us in and we found a Pensieve. We then met a goblin named Ranrok who attacked us but we managed to get away and apparate to Hogwarts, where we arrived outside the Great Hall and headed to the sorting ceremony but before we went in Professor Fig changed my outfit into the school robes “That's much better and don't worry, your original clothes are not in your trunk.” I smiled and nodded as we walked in. I looked around and spotted the Slytherin table as my eyes widened. I saw a brown haired boy who looked just like Sebastian and a bright blonde haired boy who looked like Ominis.

I took a deep breath as I took a seat, I felt the hat be placed on my head “Hmm, difficult. VERY difficult. Plenty of courage, I see. Not a bad mind, either. There's talent, oh yes. And a thirst to prove yourself. But where to put you? Hmm I wonder.” I sat there in silence as the hat decided “You come here with preferences and certain expectations, hmm” the hat drifted its sentence off again “You belong in Slytherin!” I smiled and nodded as the hat was taken off my head and Professor Weasley changed my robes into Slytherin robes and I walked over to the table and sat towards the end trying not to face people who looked like your old puppy love and best friend.

Professor Weasley took me to the Slytherin common room and I walked in. I saw the two boys again and bit my lip nervously and walked over to the brown haired boy pacing with a book in his hand, as I approached him he lifted his head up and I saw his eyes become glassy “I-i um, hi im Sebastian Sallow you must be the new student” I became shock and i could tell he knew by my facial expression and his eyes widen “H-hi my name is (Y/n) Hallows” I looked down nervous about how he might act but i didn't expect him to hug me “Ominis told us you were dead! It's amazing how you're not, Anne will be happy to hear! We can talk more after you speak with Ominis. You really should go see him, he's over by the window” he let me go and I looked over to where he was pointing and saw him, saw the boy i fell for and still had feelings for to this day after 5 or 6 years. I took a deep breath and walked over to him.

-Ominis 14 Year old-

`An Hour Ago`

As the sorting ceremony was ending the Great Hall doors opened and the scent of rosy peppermint filled my nose and Sebastian grabbed my arm “Merlin! The new girl looks like (Y/n)!” my eyes widened as the hat started to speak and she was sorted into Slytherin. Sebastian told me how she kept looking over at us with a look of stress or anxiety. After a while Sebastian and I returned to the common room and I sat by the window contemplating if it was her or not, I bit my lip trying not to get my hopes up as I started fidgeting with my hair then my fingers.

Then I heard the common room doors open and that same damn smell of rosy peppermint. I heard Sebastian stumble over his words like a 10 year old then a soft and sweet voice. I then heard the sound of mumbles around the entire room and I couldn't hear the conversation anymore until I heard “looks like she's heading over to Ominis now!” I looked away from the direction and played with my finger as I heard her approaching. “With all that whispering you must be the new student” I said calmly with a soft smile to seem inviting to talk.

~Back to (Y/n)~

I took a deep breath as I was walking over to Ominis and blushed slightly at how much he’s changed and grew into a handsome young man standing tall like he usually was. I saw him smile softly “With all that whispering you must be the new student” he looked towards me and I saw it, his soft grayed eyes and freckles and I knew it was him. “Yea, I am the new student but i know i shouldn’t be knew to you, Blink” I looked at him hopeful that he remembered and he smiled “why hello my rose” he opened his arms and i launched myself into them and tears welled up in my eyes “I’ve missed you!” he placed his head in the crook of my neck pulling me close “i thought you were dead” tears fell from my eyes and he could feel me shaking slightly and he dragged me off into a room and hugged me again “It's so good to have you back (y/n) it's been hard without you” i smiled and held onto his robe and he kept one hand on the middle of my back and lifted his hand to my cheek and lifted my head up to him “Ominis, we have a lot of catching up t-to do” i spoke softly blushing at how close our faces are, he had a light pink on his cheeks as well. He bit his lip “m-may i kiss you” i blushed and nodded.

He slowly leaned in and brushed his lips against mine and then kissed me softly as I kissed back with a smile. It was short and sweet, Sebastian had walked in and smiled “so i see there is no loss of love here” we both blushed as Sebastian broke out laughing. “Well I’ll leave you guys alone to catch up, have fun!’ and with that he walked out and left Ominis and I alone but then Ominis grabbed my hand and we took a nice walk around the school, he gave me a tour around Hogwarts then as we got outside we headed towards a less crowded area and sat down while talking about everything we missed about each other and learned everything new as well.
