So currently playing Gnosia and made this at 3 am to explain to my friends what the was happening in game as I was playing it, but with little to no prior context given to them. Also, I found it very funny once I noticed it.

(only context I did give is that my player character was also non-binary)

Is slightly a spoiler, but is probably vague enough to not make sense until you play it.

Do you guys think patroclus knew he was going to die that day? Perhaps his fingers slipped while putting on achilles’ armour or the horses were acting strange. Did he feel a shift in the air as the divine turned their gaze upon him? Did the sun shine brighter in his eyes? Burn hotter on his back? Was there something Off about it all? When he spotted hector through the chaos did he have to swallow down a dread he had never felt before?

As he scaled the walls of troy, did patroclus feel his thread of life running out between the fates hands and gladly accept it? Was he aware that his martyrdom would be a catalyst for something greater, and that he knew it had to be done?

Did patroclus know he was going to die, and proudly welcomed it because he knew it was always going to happen?

ACHILLES COME DOWN ANIMATIC IS OUT

Took me a VERY long time, but it finally done and out. It was a mini class project turn into passion project and Final. An animatic of a tale of the gayest soldiers in the Trojan War Mythos is now open to the public for viewing. (i had to fight the editing so hard)

Context if needed-

Achilles is drowning in grief after losing his love in the Trojan War with his own inaction to fight partly causing it, and as the song goes, he goes up to a roof. The weight of his grief and guilt fromf the death of Patroclus forms a fake being that speaks out his worst thoughts, taunting him every second to jump. While the real Patroclus's ghost is trying his best to get Achilles come back down and away from the edge. Yet the ending still isn't a happy one. Achilles is still doomed to die, but he won't die on that roof.

After Patroclus's death and a grief + rage fueled murder spree from Achilles.

So how much emotional deviation would it be to have Achilles kneeling at Patroclus's grave/memorial while talking to Briseis mentioning he knew he was bound to die in the war, then while he's caressing Patroclus's Laurel wreath (the leaf crown thing) his voice breaking says "I didn't think he would die here too." ?

Would that emotional break someone for a bit? If so the job was done right.

(Yes I have a project relating to this but that's not done for like 2 more months)(in the meantime there's this tid bit post)

When I showed the sketch to some my buddies, I later got a text saying "Would" so I know I did something right

I caved in, made a human bill design. Definitely bound to change a bit but hey it's was pretty fun to practice older faces. Did add small billford related thing into the design

(really wish the colors where less brassy on mobile screen tho)
