The veil between life and death - made few months back for #folktaleweek2020, day 5, "Death". • I never got round to publish it, back then everything was too painful. My father passed away nearly four months ago, in an unexpected and sudden way. I was in London and had to take a rush flight back to the south of Italy, where my family has always been living. It was the hardest, longest journey I have ever endured. Right now, I am still in Italy, struggling in building a routine, struggling in adjusting to a place that's always going to be my sentimental home but doesn't reflect my practical needs. Struggling in drawing, having spent months staring at a blank piece of paper without managing to get anything decent out of it. Sometimes I am just too afraid that's this is how things will be forever, without managing to re-adjust to my former way of being.
