i sometimes hate the idea of me being aroace. some of you might not like that idea about me, but it is true. there is absolutely nothing wrong with aromanticism or asexuality, i think the way that aroace people describe love in their own way is beautiful. however, there is something in the back of my head that tells me to keep waiting and to keep searching. i dream about every single day. finding that one person. maybe it’s because i was never loved or desired in high school. i want somebody to look at me like a treasure. something that is worth looking for. something that is worth saving. i want to be treasured, to be polished, to be protected, and be made into something that is worth more than a million dollars. the thought permeates my mind almost every single day. this loneliness has made its home in my body and it stayed like a tumor. i hope this dream manifests into reality. i would break my heart a thousand times if i have to get to it.
