Quick tips for writing unspoken crushes

⭑ looking at their lips like it's accidental. it's not.

⭑ knowing way too much random info about them (like their fav gum or shoe size?? why??)

⭑ asking about their dating life and pretending it's casual. it’s not.

⭑ brushing hands and then staring into the VOID like “what does it meeeaaan”

⭑ having full internal monologues about one (1) text they sent

⭑ getting weirdly territorial when someone else flirts with them

⭑ laughing at jokes that aren’t funny bc it's them

⭑ stalling when it's time to say goodbye like “oh wait one more thing haha”

⭑ rereading convos and thinking “wow i sounded so dumb why did i say ‘hey’ like that”

⭑ noticing every. single. change. like “did they get a haircut or am i just obsessed”

⭑ the classic: accidentally calling them “babe” and playing it off like a joke (it’s NOT A JOKE)

⭑ dying a little every time they say “you’re such a good friend”

So it’s been forever since I posted anything here but nevermind that- My best friend and I did a Back to the Future marathon last night so I did some sketches. Very happy to hear the BTTF fandom is alive and well here on tumblr 😂

They weren’t originally colored but I decided to color them and liked it much better. Anyway, *throws this at you and runs away*

AIN’T NO WAY I JUST SAW AN EDIT OF ODYSSEUS, KING OF ITHACA-

I had made a TikTok about ideas for an Epic stage play, but in order to say everything I needed to, I needed to write out first- So with that being said, here are my (somewhat incoherent-) ideas for a stage musical adaption of Epic.

•Possibly split the musical into two performances (Act 1, Troy-underworld, Act 2, Thunder-Ithaca)

-I dunno is Jorge would want to add more dialogue, or make it a song-after-song kind of production like Hamilton, but if he wanted to add, thus would allow for more room to tell the story. The split at the Underworld saga also makes sense to me because this is the turning point of him becoming “the monster”.

•Projections!! (Arrows, Polyphemus, suitors)

-Also, how cool would it be for the animators and artists who have worked on epic to make the art for the projections??

•Polyphemus- main portion of his body is projection that covers the whole backdrop, his head/eye is above the stage, but still visibly scene (he’s a cyclops, he’s gotta be huge right?)

•Ithaca saga, “Odysseus”:

-Instead of 108 suitors, it’s played by 18 people with a projection of the rest of the suitors in the background

-Odysseus possibly up on a balcony sorta thing as he’s shooting the suitors? (The projection is the arrows being shot-)

-Highlight “you don’t think I know my own palace, I built it-“ somehow. (Spotlight up on said balcony or spotlight of him amidst all the suitors?)

-Heck even pick random people from the audience to be the background suitors, but something under the seats, I dunno-

Anyway, that’s all I have- would love to hear more ideas too!
