✒️ Let’s take a break from Twisted Wonderland and dive into some Angel's Friends content! ✨

✒️ Let me remind you, since many might not know or even remember who this character is.

✒️ Kupsida is a high-ranked she-devil, a member of the personal guard of Kubral, the supreme commander of the devilish army. She’s the only woman in a group of four, including herself.

✒️ In the animated series, she had very little screen time and didn’t even take part in the «Light vs. Dark» tournament against the main characters.

✒️ Like any demon, she is arrogant and sly, not only toward her eternal enemies but also with her own comrades in arms.

✒️ We also got to see another, more, let's say, childish side of her. This happened when Kabiria hypnotized her snake and took it away. Kupsida became flustered and, like a little child, demanded its return instead of coming up with a new plan, as one would expect from an experienced warrior like the guards are portrayed to be.

✒️ Nothing more is known about this character since she doesn’t even have a prototype in the original comic, much like many other characters introduced in Season 2.

Good day to everyone! I’m here with a small collection of atmospheric images.

In fact, these pictures were created to reflect at least a small part of Seri’s character — as I see her. I’m still not entirely sure how to present her to you properly, as this character is both a reflection of myself and, at the same time, meant to be a completely separate individual.

There’s a lot of confusion in my head. I want to make her a cold character who shows little emotion and avoids forming attachments with people. Yet, in many of my works, I end up portraying her as a cheerful, open girl.

At the same time, she often appears in my mind as a very irritable and angry person. Especially when I imagine scenarios involving characters’ overblots.

Instead of running away, she just explodes and goes to give bream. In moments like these, she doesn’t think about safety or the consequences of her actions. All she wants is to knock some sense into someone.

And she does it. Even if it means spending weeks lying in the infirmary afterward.

And all of this doesn’t quite align with the cold and unemotional character I envision for her. It’s a paradox that I haven’t yet figured out how to resolve.

A Tik-Tok Trend. Part 2 (Final)

Be careful, there may and will be errors, as English is not my native language!

When you just wanted to quickly follow a trend but ended up indulging in a mini-skit that got rethought two or three times because the characters’ motivations didn’t entirely make sense.

To be fair, they still don’t entirely make sense, but hey, I drew this on a wave of emotions and just wanted to join in on the trend. But—damn my brain—it insists on overcomplicating everything.

Therefore, after a bit of analysis, I realized that there was no way this could work without the intervention of third parties and a clever little plan.

Given Jamil’s personality, he definitely wouldn’t agree to such a trend without solid reasons, especially if the suggestion came from unfamiliar people. And Seri, being someone who figuratively “lived in a cave” and barely uses her phone due to how busy she is, wouldn’t have any clue about these trends either. So, she wouldn’t have suggested it herself. (And neither would Jamil, who is already short a couple of hours in his schedule and wouldn’t waste the time he does have on these trends.)

If the suggestion came from Kalim, Jamil would have had a 60-80% chance of agreeing to it. But let’s just say the suggestion was a simple request to “take a photo” without much explanation.

Originally, it was supposed to be Ace who sent the video, but at that point, my brain suddenly questioned why Cater would post something on his MagiCam that wasn’t related to him at all. So I replaced Ace with Kalim, for whom Cater edited the video featuring Seri and Jamil just for fun. Ace caught Cater in the process and managed to convince him to send the video to him so he could tease Seri. This time, it worked.

In the end, this trend became a task for the Music Club: to see how many people they could convince to take part in the trend.

Drumroll! Who was the winner of the music club competition? Of course…

Of course, friendship won! The trend spread so well that they lost track of the score. Though Cater came very close to winning, yeah... Lilia tried his best, but... the students all suddenly became way too shy.

After this, Jamil started scrutinizing Kalim’s requests even more carefully, even if they seemed ridiculously simple. Not that he didn’t already, but somehow, he’s even more cautious now.

(And no one will ever know that an embarrassing video is secretly saved in a private folder, somewhere no one will ever find it. Someone has also added new drawings to their collection.)

And with that, this little story comes to an end.

Although... this could be expanded into a vignette about Seri in her PE uniform, hmm. I’m not sure—this will probably never see the light of day.

The art style is slightly different from what you saw in the previous post because I was drawing it on the very last remnants of inspiration.

A Tik-Tok trend. Part 1.

First, I’ll post it here, and then on Tik-Tok itself. By the way, there will be two parts in total: one is the trend itself, and the other is a short skit.

(Mini-spoiler: in the execution of this trend featuring Seri and Jamil, Cater and Kalim are involved.)

And yes, I stick to the opinion that Jamil Viper is more sinewy than muscular. No, of course, he has muscles and strength—otherwise, breakdancing would be pretty difficult. And considering that he’s been involved in physical activities since childhood, you definitely can’t call him scrawny or skinny. Maybe he would have been if he hadn’t done any sports at all, but we can’t say that. So, I believe he has a well-toned, but not overly muscular body. Plus, my art style leans heavily towards simplification and minimizing, which is why he ends up looking like that.

Fear and determination are two sides of the same coin.

Well, this situation falls into the category of "out of sight, out of mind." When she tried to avoid an unpleasant conversation that would force her to face reality and step out of her comfort zone, another person, tired of playing these cat-and-mouse games, decided that something needed to be done about the stagnant situation and took matters into their own hands. Literally and figuratively.

Now one girl will have to face the harsh truth and decide how to move forward (There’s only one possible outcome. No other can happen… Not when he's finally feeling so confident and hopeful about the future. He simply won’t allow her to escape into her icy shell that easily).

But seriously, this sketch was created without any ulterior motives. I saw a reference, and it clicked in my mind, and suddenly I found myself sitting down to draw. I love creating various plots in my head, but when I start putting them on paper, it’s as if all my thoughts evaporate, and I suddenly discover so many gaps stitched with white thread, not understanding how this happens. I heard from someone that our brains like to deceive us by giving the illusion of completeness and a well-developed plot, as if everything has already been considered, but that’s not the case. I have plans for a mini-sketch comic related to nightmares, but… I don’t know how much longer it will take me to draw and come up with ideas for it.

Seri Kubo

The only child in the family, but not spoiled. Unpleasant circumstances forced her to grow up earlier than her peers.

Due to the constant absence of her mother at home, who works seven days a week and leaves her daughter alone with herself, she has learned to love solitude and music.

She found her outlet in training and drawing, which is why this skill is highly developed and she even thinks of linking her life with this area.

After the appearance of her stepfather in life, who took on the role of educator, she became much calmer and more reasonable, and with the arrival of a new student at the beginning of high school, who became her best friend, she established contact with classmates.

She seems friendly and sociable, but in fact she is a closed and detached person.

It is difficult for her to realize that a person has become dear and valuable after all. It often happens that this realization comes much later, when the person has long since left her life.

To speed up the moment of awareness, she specifically thinks through scenarios in her head if a person suddenly left her life. To change which aspects of life. And if there is some discomfort from such plots, then the person has nevertheless crossed a certain line of her "indifference".

And yes, although she is not an ADHD person, but forgetting a person for her is a very simple and familiar thing. Even if you have a close friendship with this person for 5 years. Unfortunately, she could not identify the reasons for this, but there are assumptions.

Seri has never been in love before. While her peers were actively building personal relationships, she could not even imagine that she liked someone so much that she could admit it. And it never went beyond sympathy and attraction to the appearance of a person.

But despite such problems with awareness of her feelings and harsh parenting methods, she loves her family very much, and is ready to break up for them.

She hates responsibility and conflict, but, ironically, these two concepts became her constant companions after entering the Distorted Wonderland.

She tries to adapt to a new life in another world as quickly as possible, and thanks to rapidly developing events, she manages to build her new "stability".

Now she is trying her best to find a way back to her family and past life, but it seems that something went wrong…

The story of the style change

A little bit about how the creation of the Series began in general. At the time of drawing this mini-comic, neither the final design nor the name was yet known. This was the first step to just roughly draw the character. The first version.

By the way, the comic itself was also not planned. But, following my pernicious habit of making some kind of epic out of a small sketch, this mini-comic turned out. Which, unfortunately, I cannot fit it into my canon framework.
