I entered ten puns in a contest, hoping one would win, but no pun in ten did. Any sufficiently true fact is indistinguishable from falsehood. So there's this story about time travel, right? Where the protagonist finds themself repeating a certain day. Over and over, they try to work out what's going on. Now, random events seem to happen just as predicted, but they're finding that human behavior is really unpredicable, even if they do the exact same thing. They figure it's the butterfly effect, but it ends up being revealed that everyone in a small location, like everyone in this one department store, is looping the same day, and were concealing it from everyone else because they didn't want to seem crazy. And it turns out that there's some blockage, preventing time from actually flowing forward, so all the time from this one day is piling up around the store, and they're all trapped in it. The blockage is intentional, to build up a reservoir of time, but for what purpose? We'll have to see, and it's About Dam Time.

This is not normal weather for the northeastern US.
It will get cold again eventually. The summer will not last forever. I’m not doomed to live in this unbearable heat for all eternity. <- said while gripping the countertop so hard that the tile is starting to crack

There's something to be said for using Regulo. Regulo 1 is 275°F, and 1° Regulo is 25°F so Regulo 2 is 300°F, 3 is 325°F, etc., and this is very convenient if you're setting an oven for a recipe printed in °F.
Plus, you never have to worry about those pesky negative numbers, because Regulo never goes negative! Below 1 it conveniently becomes logarithmic - Reg .5 is 250°F, 225°F is Reg .25, absolute zero is about .00000000142, and so forth.
This makes it very intuitive for operating a gas oven in the early 20th century, and provides important enrichment for physicists in any other context.
I'm bored, so it's time for temperature scale discourse. I have developed, thanks to three generations of scientific inquiry, the perfect and most correctest opinion on the topic which is this:
People have a pretty good intuition for the one they're raised with and can also be trained to have good intuition for other systems. The first and foremost thing people have an intuitive understanding for is if it's hot or cold or somewhere in between, they learn that significantly before they even know what a number is.
Especially with some practice, people can get a very good intuitive sense of linear scales, so if you then attach those two feelings to *any* numbers, tell people it represents hot and cold, and then give them practice with it, say by having them grow up in a society that constantly uses the specific numbers, they'll get a pretty good intuition for what the numbers translate to, temperature feeling-wise.
So really, there's not an objectively better system between C and F, it's just a question of which you're used to and if you wanted to spend a few years using the other you'd be used to that one enough to have about as good an intuition as you do for the one you're used to now.
Also Kelvin is the objectively best temperature unit system.

“If I had time travel I’d kill Hitler” “If I had time travel I’d stop my favourite politician getting assassinated” you’re all thinking way too small. If I had time travel I’d stop Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin from dying on the moon due to Soviet sabotage, kicking off the Great Nuclear War and devastating half of the planet.

All animals were harmed during the making of this video. Every single one. While we shot this film, animals everywhere bore the ravages of time. Skin sagged, teeth wore down, telomeres shortened, cells rebelled. Somewhere, a dog sniffed too close to a bee and learned to fear. Somewhere, an eel scraped its side against a too-sharp rock. Somewhere, a forest burned. Somewhere, an elk lost the race to the wolf pack. By accident and by disease, by age and fear and famine and injury and also incidentally by fire the indefatigable millstone of entropy ground the grist of life ever smaller, ushering every single animal closer to its final end. We were powerless to stop it.
Except for the forest fire. That was our bad. We're sorry. But we started the fire before we began making this video. No fires were started during the making of this video. We don't think that should count. And time is a greater assassin that any work of man could ever be. Those animals would've been harmed anyway. That's what we're saying. Time, the death of a billion papercuts, hunts us all, hounding our footsteps from the moment of our birth until our inevitable return to the domain of oblivion from whence we came, sometimes by fire. That we happened to be filming this video at the time is immaterial. Many things happened during the making of this video. We cannot be held responsible for all of them.
no animal was harmed during the making of this video. not one. for the few minutes that we were shooting film, the guns of each hunter fell silent. the industrial bolt throwers observed a moment's peace and the jaws of every predator hung softly open. no fish bit any hook and the bait worms held off on drowning only until the cameras stopped. the tails of ruminants ceased to flick just as their attendant flies, in unison, landed on their flanks to catch their tiny breaths. a spider instantly stopped winding silk around a wasp, patiently waiting for the caesura to end. a young veterinarian paused with the syringe in their hand. somewhere, a colicky baby stopped biting its mother's nipple and nursed happily for the very first time. we're sorry. we're sorry it couldn't have been longer. we didn't know this would happen.

This is leaving out the best part of his patreon, which is that he's been doing polls for "silly models" to create for years, bringing us such wonders as the Baba Yaga Taco Truck, the Horse Head, Goostarian (Goose Astarion), a Pirate Ship Mimic, the Honkdra, and Definitely The Five-Headed Dragon God Tiamat And Not Five Wyrmlings In A Trenchcoat
