Sanji is a very passionate person, so naturally, he just can't keep his voice down in the bedroom. If they're trying to be quiet, Zoro has to cover his mouth or put something in it.

Don't you just love the stories that begin with:
"Lets break up..."
And I think it's such a good trope to use for ZoSan, like, the ANGST potential?
Why are they breaking up? How did they get together? How are they gonna fix this?
To see the story of two people who used to love each other so much, fall apart, and then learn why they loved each other in the first place... returning stronger than before...
I think that trope is so ZoSan tbh
Also I just like pain

#ZoSan stripper AU
#ZoSan AU where Sanji is working as a stripper who falls in love with Zoro, a big paying regular.
SugarPears drabble
But, Zoro doesn't catch any feelings at all since he has the understanding of how the strippers he pays for do all this affection and attention in exchange for his money.
He knows that and he respects the hustle. He gets what he wants no feelings attached.
Bcuz of this, he doesn't take the hint about any of Sanji's feelings behind his flirting and affection. He thinks it's all part of the service.
That was until Sanji finally burst and said "You dumbass! I've been genuinely flirting you with this whole time! I have feelings for you, stupid marimo!"
Zoro is, understandably, shookt. "What?"
Sanji ran his hands down his face and clicked his tongue. "You know what? What matters is I confessed. I'm done. I don't have any regrets."
The conversation ended there with no chance for Zoro to even think of replying. However, it was that moment that caused Zoro to think more about Sanji.
He still goes to the same strip club, but now he can't stop his eyes from getting distracted by the servers before him. They stray to the gorgeous blonde performing on stage.
And every time he sees him, Zoro thinks about Sanji's confession. It makes him look back on all the affection he received from the blonde.
It's amazing to think they were real.
He sees Sanji play and flirt with other customers, and something inside him feels smug at how he knows all that affection for others was fake, but only he received the real deal.
After all, the person Sanji liked was Zoro.
At first, he didn't care about this display of affection. After all, it was Sanji's work (and he was damn good at it), but there was a voice in the back of his head.
What if he doesn't like you anymore? What if the affection he shows to other customers becomes real?
It made him feel uncertain and anxious, something he didn't think he'd feel over someone he didn't rly care about just a few days prior.
It got to the point when he couldn't stop himself from interrupting Sanji as the blonde was trying to get tips from another high-paying customer.
"What the fuck, Zoro! I was working-- what did you do that for!?" Sanji hissed as he pulled the green-haired man aside.
Zoro's heart thumped in his chest. Why DID he do that? What was he feeling? Why did he feel so... overwhelmed? In the end, the customer didn't say anything in return.
Sanji rolled is eyes at his silence and sighed. "Fine. It's probably awkward for you to talk to me. I'll leave first, so don't worry."
The blonde was about to make his way out, but suddenly Zoro blurted, "Do you still like me?"
Sanji's jaw dropped. "What?"
"Do you still like me?"
"Where the fuck did this come from--"
"Just answer the damn question... please." the last word was akin to begging, and it took Sanji off guard.
Sanji clenched his fists and looked at the other man straight on. "I do."
Zoro let out a shaky breath, and he was suddenly hyper-aware of the relief he was feeling. "I..." he started, "I don't know how to explain this but... I feel really... bad."
Sanji raised a brow. "Bad? About what."
"I...I don't know." Zoro has never been good at expressing his emotions.
"Look, Zoro, what made you come here and ask me this?" Sanji sighed, "What if I told you that I didn't like you anymore? What would you say? You didn't even respond to my confession. You left me hanging."
Zoro's heart suddenly dropped at those words. He opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out. What was he supposed to say? What was he feeling? What were all these confusing thoughts?
Sanji gave him a stare, before smiling helplessly. "Do you have a response to my confession now?"
Zoro paused and looked into those beautiful, blue eyes. What was his answer? It didn't take a genius to figure out.
These feelings. The yearning. The desire. There was only one answer.
"I like you too..." Zoro breathed, feeling as if a weight was lifted from his shoulders. "I want to give this a try."
Sanji grinned and clapped his hands together. "Great!"
.
END
After that they fucked of course and Sanji kept his stripper job because BANK but now that they were in a relationship and Sanji constantly reminds Zoro about his love for him, Zoro flexes every day
"You see him? Yeah, he's mine... and you can't hand him LMAOOO"

ZoSan but they're cursed with symbiosis
SugarPear drabbles 🍐✨
Think of Venom but Sanji is the source of Zoro's power.
Sanji lives inside Zoro's body. In his blood, bones, mind, and heart. He can hear what Zoro thinks and can even help manipulate his movements.
Sanji manifests as Zoro's strength. His swords. Sometimes, he can take on a humanoid form of glowing yellow.
His upper body would emerge from Zoro's back, and he'd wrap his arms around the swordman's shoulders while hooking his chin over his right.
Of course, their contrasting personalities often lead to discourse, and it wasn't uncommon to find the symbiote and his host arguing.
Sometimes Zoro would make quite a strange sight arguing with the voice in his head, but the StrawHat crew had grown used to it over time.
Why had Sanji turned into this? Well, as the "useless" and "defective" third Vinsmoke brother, Judge was forced to conduct extra experiments on the boy.
It resulted in his body slowly melting away into condensed power. A mishap.
Sanji was able to run away before he could completely succumb to the hands of strange doctors, but he couldn't go any further.
Just as he thought he was going to die, his body turning into golden energy as he knelt on the forest ground...
A green-haired boy with three bamboo swords came running at his desperate cries. At that moment, they made eye contact.
Sanji cried and reached out for the other as half his face faded into a glowing gold. "Help me!" He screamed.
The boy, in his panic, ran and grabbed onto Sanji's hand, not knowing that it would bind them forever.
Now, the two became known as one. Sanji was still the Strawhat's cook (capable of manning the kitchen as long as Zoro was near) and Zoro the swordsman.
Until... That day when the vinsmokes came looking for Sanji. Not as a groom, but as a weapon they sought to duplicate.
It was just one mistake on Zoro's part. In a flash, Sanji was extracted from the swordsman's body and trapped inside a can... Taken away.
For the first time in years, Zoro's mind knew silence.
Emptiness.
He screamed.
#i love me a happy ending#i love how even tho sanji can stay human they still chose to be one#gonna cry now

ZoSan witch!Sanji and human!Zoro AU
Sugar Pears drabble 🍐✨
I've always loved the trope of a strong, immortal witch finding an abandoned human child by the side of the road and taking them in.
That human becomes the witch's protector and stays with the witch. The human continues to grow, but the witch remains immortal and unchanged.
Until they realized that the little human they found not too long ago... Was suddenly all grown up.
"Well, what do we have here," a gorgeous blond witch hummed as he flew down on his giant, wooden spoon. Despite the harsh rain, the drops failed to fall onto his body, an invisible barrier placed above his head.
He stopped to hover over what seemed to be a pile of mud, but when you looked closer, was actually a small child.
The male witch stared for a few moments, when suddenly, the small child's hand twitched.
"So it's alive..." the witch said amused.
Then, with a wave of his hand, the child was lifted from the growing puddle of mud, and placed to lie on his giant spoon's circular end.
"I'm taking you home with me."
The child, as it turned out, was a young, green-haired boy. Instead of thanking the witch, the first thing the boy did was bite the witch's hand.
"AGH FUCK--!"
Immediately, with a little magic, the rabid child was placed inside of a small, wooden cage.
"I won't let you eat me, witch!" Snarled the child.
"Relax, kid! I don't have a taste for eating seaweed, thank you very much," the witch grumbled and cradled his hand close to him. The bite was deep enough to make his hand bleed. "What's your name?"
"Im not telling a witch my name! You'll curse me!"
The blonde witch rolled his blue eyes and said, "Okay, right. Yeah. Well, my name's Sanji. I'm a gourmet witch."
"I knew it! You're gonna cook me up and eat me!" The boy screamed as he rattled the wooden bars of his cage.
"For fucks sake-- I'm not!" The blonde witch groaned and threw his hands up in the air. "I literally saved you!"
"Liar!"
It took a long time with lots of convincing, but after a year, the green-haired boy had settled in with the blonde witch.
"Zoro!" The witch called as he stirred a pot of shimmering liquid. "Get me those herbs over there!"
The little boy pitter patter to the witch with the herbs in his hands. "Stop ordering me around!" He complained.
"Little brat. The least you can do is earn your keep." The witch sighed and took the herbs from the boy's hands. Then, they were carefully placed in the boiling pot.
Zoro's eyes became drawn to the witch's hand stirring the large spoon. On his pale skin were teeth marks he made just a year before.
"Why don't you make that go away?" Zoro asked in a small voice.
"Hm?"
"The wound... On your hand... You're a gourmet witch. Aren't your hands important?" Zoro whispered.
"Awww, is our little marimo feeling guilty about biting me?" The blonde witch teased.
The boy sputtered out and turned red, but he didn't deny anything. Sanji then smiled.
"My hands are fine, Zoro," the witch chuckled and ruffled the boys green hair. "I can get rid of the scar if I want to, but why would I erase such a memory? Don't worry about it."
The witch turned back to his boiling pot to hum a tune as he stirred, but it was at that moment that the human boy made a resolve.
Right here before him was the most beautiful person in the world. The kindest. The bravest. This person was a witch, and Zoro was but a mere human who would be worth only a fraction of Sanji's life... But regardless, he would protect this man with all his body and soul.
Years later, a group of witch Hunters loitered in the woods.
"Get the fuck out," snarled a deep voice.
The witch Hunters turned behind them and saw a tanned man with green hair. Attached to his hip were three scabbards.
"You there," called a hunter, "We're looking for the witch's lair."
The man only let out a sarcastic laugh and drew one sword. "You ain't getting near the witch's lair."
"It can't be..." Whispered another hunter, staring wide-eyed at the sword-wielder. "Is this... The Mad Dog?"
"Mad Dog?"
"The Mad Dog! Green hair, three swords, and a scar running down his left eye... Then the witch dwelling in this forest is--"
The Mad Dog cut him off and growled, "--The Golden Gourmet, Sanji Black." He tilted his head to the side and placed a sword's hilt in his mouth with a dangerous glint in his eye. "I do more than just bite."
Screams spread through the forest, and that night Zoro returned to the cozy hut bathed in blood.
A beautiful witch with golden locks turned to him from his cauldron, and furrowed his enchanting, blue eyes.
A witch that has not aged a single year. A witch who looked at Zoro as the child he raised. Except, Zoro's feelings towards the witch were anything but that of a child and his guardian.
They were something more.

ZoSan AU where Zoro is a novel character Sanji is obsessed with
Sanji is a romantic but can't find his true love in real life. Instead, he looks to novels that his heart thumping with thrill. His favorite male lead? A fierce and handsome swordsman from a medieval novel named Zoro.
Sanji has been single for a long time... Like a long, long time. Actually, his whole life.
It wasn't his fault. The right person just hadn’t arrived yet. Sanji didn’t mind. After all, he experienced romance through various other ways, like books and movies.
Sanji’s favorite novel in particular was a story about a Knight whose goal was to become the best swordsman in the world. The book didn’t have any particular romantic elements, but the main character, Zoro, was everything Sanji looked for in a partner.
The blonde cook sighed as he put down his book and stared up the ceiling of his bedroom. Imagine if he found someone like Zoro in real life. He’d never let him go.
With that thought, he fell asleep.
“Oi... Oi, blondie...”
Sanji stirred at the unfamiliar voice’s sudden intrusion. “What the fuck...?” he grumbled.
“Where am I?”
Sanji blinked away the sleep in his eyes and suddenly came face to face with a one-eyed, green-haired, tan-skinned, Adonis who wore loose stringed top, leather pants, and boots.
“Whot--”
“Answer me now. I need to get back to the Grandline,” the man growled, exposing sharp canines.
“H-huh...” Sanji’s brain was still processing. He stared at the man before his bed with wide eyes.
One second later, his eyes hesitantly glanced at the book cover by his bedside.
It was of a one-eyed Knight dashing into battle, his green hair and tanned skin shining under the sunlight.

ZoSan AU with Doctor!Zoro and Patient!Sanji
Sugar Pears drabble 🍐✨
🍐: I wanted to see Sanji seduce Zoro in a situation where he definitely shouldn't be... It was either student x teacher or doctor x patient.
Zoro leaned back against his chair and scribbled over a clipboard. He let out a sigh and asked, "So, how many sexual partners have you had?"
Sanji crossed his leg over the other and leaned closer, resting his chin on his hand.
The blonde let the tip of his tongue touch the front of his teeth, opening his mouth slightly as he looked up in thought.
Zoro stared at the gorgeous man who basically oozed sex appeal, and found his grip on the clipboard tightening.
When a few moments passed, Sanji blinked and chuckled when he saw Zoro's awaiting expression.
"Give me a second," he whispered as he stood up straight, pretty fingers brushing against a pale neck as he did so. "I'm counting."

I love writing Zoro as a confident and cocky little shit, but the best part of writing him this way is how impactful it becomes when he loses this confidence.
Just think about. He walks around without worry, knowing damn well he can handle anyone and anything that comes his way. He’s never known what it means to hesitate or second-guess his decisions... until he meets Sanji.
This man is gorgeous. He’s graceful. He’s talented. He’s so many thing all at once and it overwhelms him. Next thing Zoro knows he’s feeling something more.
At first, he treats this unknown feeling with aggressiveness. How dare this cook make me feel like this? Losing my confidence? This is his fault so I’m going to mess with him.
But little by little, he starts thinking things.
He passes by a mirror and pauses, going back to check his appearance. He fixes his hair and grumbles when it doesn’t end up looking like he did to. Did he look nice?
And he realizes it right there. Why was he doing this when he’s never cared about it?
He started thinking about the words he’d say to Sanji. The things he should do.
It all falls onto his shoulders when one day he finds himself staring at the beautiful blonde, thinking, would that man even like someone like Zoro?

One of my favourite things to do when writing a plot is making a specific sentence or action at the beginning of the fic and giving it a completely different meaning at the end.
For example:
Beginning
"Let's go together!" Sanji said with a bright grin as he pulled Zoro towards the roller coaster ride, the two just in front of the amusement park gates.
Ending
"Let's go together," Sanji said with a soft smile as he held Zoro's hand, the two just in front of the bridge's edge.
I did this too with my BDSM ZoSan fic C'mere Baby. Chapter 1 versus Chapter 7. There's also some chapter 4 contrast for chapter 7.
