I'm not sure if this has been asked before so sorry if it's a repeat question-

I want to get a commission from you but Ive never got a commission done before- what should I know before asking for a commission?

Should I have a rough description of what I want or maybe some reference images?

Hiya! No worries, I'm glad you asked!

What I recommend before commissioning someone is to collect the necessary reference of what you'd like I.e; pose, type of commission (like half body, full render, etc), and visual references of your ocs (which could be compiled photos or even picrews). I personally can work with both rough descriptions and reference images, though I prefer reference images because then it'd be less likely for me to make mistakes on how you imagine your character!

But each artist is different, this is just how I personally accept commission work, but it is generally always appreciated when you do have what you'd like ready to go when you message them ^^
