As a journalist I go around town and find stories that are both entertaining and helpful. But this story struck a nerve with so I've been trying to promote it. For me personally it might have been because my mother was in the same situation. My mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She was able to move but was in a lot of pain. She would bleed a lot  on a daily basis and she was worried on how she would support the house hold while being sick. She thought of my smaller brother and the thought of her being gone. It was a miserable time. Luckily she was able to find help and had surgery. They were able to successful remove the tumor. 

In this case I found a very young mother. She is only 24 years old. Her name is Cheni Hernandez and she loves soccer and her family. After giving birth she was given bad news. Her Dr told her that she had cancer and that she had roughly One year to live. The cancer is stage 4 from what I was told. Right now she is undergoing chemotherapy as well as other treatments.Every 3 months she has to go to San Francisco for treatment. Her family travels from Vista California all the way up. Her insurance does cover some of the cost but she still has to pay out of pocket roughly 8 thousand after tax. In addition she can’t work right now cause of her condition.
