I am really confused about this game. Is it like "Doki doki literature club" ? the game seems to break the fourth wall after getting bad endings and someone speaks in red text. Is it Ren and is he stuck in the game like Monica?Or is he and Redacted separate people, with him being a game character,but Redacted being some sort of entity who's stuck in the void of the game,or in it's code,and acknowledges that it's a game and someone's playing it and they speak to the player, not the game's protag?

✦゜ANSWERED: 14 Days With You is like 14 Days With You. It's not meant to be similar to DDLC in any way, and Ren isn't supposed to be like Monika or any other self-aware character.

Please don't associate 14DWY with other games just because they share similar tropes. /lh

But!! To answer your question: Ren isn't aware that Angel and the player are separate people. As of right now, he considers Angel and you as the same entity, and speaks to you as though you're part of his universe.

Ren is aware that his entire existence only comes into fruition whenever you play the game — but to him, that's considered normal — the same way getting wifi from trees and not discovering 80% of the ocean is considered normal for us. Nothing is out of place for him, and the way he interacts with his environment doesn't seem weird or out of place for him.

The Dead Ends are the only time Ren breaks the fourth wall, but it's still a massive WIP and there's not enough content for it to make much sense yet. But once more Days get released, this will be further explained!!

Not to get pedantic (oh who am i kidding that’s most of this blog) but I am genuinely fascinated by the potential applications of the established canon in HoO and TOA that the gods canonically have both historic and regional forms, and can appear as specific versions of those forms and have kids of those specific forms, which influence what powers the kid has/what pantheon they fall under/etc etc (and also the implication that demigods can be born under multiple forms of a singular deity). This is somewhat backed up even earlier in the first series when we’re told that Percy has earthquake powers because of his father being Poseidon “The Earthshaker” (which is Mycenaean Poseidon) - which could also tie into why Percy generally takes leadership roles, is hopping in and out of the Underworld a lot, and is apparently particularly powerful for even just a Big 3 kid, since all that would line up with Mycenaean Poseidon being generally put at the head of the pantheon and also being a chthonic deity.

Now this gets really interesting when we start looking at deities being combined and conflated, because a.) the Romans weren’t the only ones doing that and b.) the Romans had their own gods originally, they didn’t just take the Greek ones and slap a new name on them. They merged a lot with their own preexisting deities alongside adopting worship of deities from other cultures as the Romans spread (and the Greeks also did this), and c.) the ancient Greeks and Romans did exist at the same time.

Like, we know in terms of the Greeks and Romans that if their godly parents are “equivalent” then their demigod children are siblings, just like if Greek demigods have the “same” godly parent then they are also siblings. However, very few Greco-Roman gods are one-to-one, and a lot are like three gods in a trench coat, and then if you want to get into historical forms then you can start running into weird things like “Well, if you go back far enough, these two Greek gods may have originated from the same thing-” and also if we’re talking historical forms, again, the Greeks and Romans existed at the same time! Which means there would be historic forms of godly parents that are both Greek and Roman! So like, where do we go from there? Would Hazel be equally siblings to a child of Plutus as she is to Nico because both Hades and Plutus were conflated into Pluto? Orcus was also conflated with Pluto - does that mean when Nico killed Bryce Lawrence, he was killing his half-brother? (cause then that parallels just a couple chapters later when Will faces off against Octavian-) Are there demigods who, depending on their godly parents’ form(s), are technically both a Greek and Roman demigod? If Hermes and Pan possibly originated from the same god, does that mean all the satyrs are siblings with the Hermes kids? If we want to get into all the nonsense of Dionysus’ origins and Zagreus and Hades, does that mean Nico is technically siblings with Dionysus kids? Does Dionysus joke about this during their therapy sessions? Are some demigods in certain cabins siblings with kids in other cabins but each others’ siblings aren’t siblings depending on what form their godly parents were in?

So Laura Deramas is back and begging people not to call her a scammer even though her presence on this site 1. Proves she faked her death (including pretending to be her own sister afterwards to ask for "funeral" money & photoshopping someone else's death certificate to pretend it was her own, sending people photos of her allegedly "dead" body unprompted & upsetting or traumatizing multiple people in the process, & then lying & saying she was "forced" to photoshop the death certificate), and 2. That she asked for funeral money after the faked death, which is... a scam. Which makes her a scammer. By definition this is a scam. & this was just ONE of them.

She's also claiming me, Mangocheesecakes, & Kyra are "putting her in danger" for talking about her actions that she literally just admitted to doing. And like, she's literally been putting multiple variations of her OWN FULL NAME on tumblr for the past two years on posts that SHE PERSONALLY MADE while asking for donations/scamming. Her name was already well known before the three of us had even known about her existence, if her name was in "danger", she did that herself FIRST, not us?

Like she literally approached me and Kyra FIRST. I wasn't even one of the people who called her out originally and I hadn't even made my own post about her by the time she approached ME begging me to help her & believe she was genuine (which I did), and by the time I blocked her (& by this time I also didn't believe she was a scammer yet), she went and blocked KYRA first even though Kyra had also never called her out, was friendly towards Laura, and believed she was genuine at the time.

She's acting like we started this vendetta against her out of the blue & for no reason even though out of the 3 of us, she literally approached us FIRST, treated us badly (again, which she admits to & we have proof of), and yet now wants us to pretend like none of that happened.

Either your "apology" video is bullshit & you admit to doing all the things we said you did but just want us to stop talking about it, or you're lying AGAIN and saying WE'RE lying, but now you talking about your "mistakes" is redundant
