A Drabble for TF: One

First off: A warning.

This drabble WILL contain spoilers from TF: One. Everything that is a spoiler will be under the -keep reading- line. This, unfortunately, includes the summary because I couldn't think of any other way to describe what I'll be writing about.

And hey, if people enjoy this, maybe I'll write more? Can't help it, I love this type of AU and it was the first thing that popped in my head. Starscream's appearance SLIGHTLY made that AU-itch happy.

Summary: Something that D-16, Elita One, and Bumblebee didn't realize when they encountered the mecha-deer herd on the surface was that they had a care-taker.

Characters: D-16, Bumblebee, Elita One, Orion Pax

Background: In this AU, D-16 was more rebellious and participated in the race himself. Orion Pax does not exist in the mines. More will be explained in the drabble.

Without further adeu:

Cybertron's surface was truly beautiful. Despite the fear they initially felt from the unknown and the constantly shifting surface, when you took a moment to just look, you could see why everyone used to live there.

Mountains grew and disappeared in a blink. Old structures were hidden and unveiled in moments.

Wild turbo-foxes and mecha-deer hunted and grazed in the rolling fields. Cyber-wolves prowled along ridges, seemingly able to tell how the terrain would shift before it even began.

This was the surface that greeted D-16, Elita One, and Bumblebee after their train crashed.

Despite their initial crash from the unexpected tsunami of metal, it was stunning.

D-16 idly recalled the ancient texts that had been smuggled to him during his few breaks or right before recharge. He knew that, once, Cybertronians didn't need to hide underground. Back in the times of the original thirteen Primes, Cybertronians had been divided into tribes.

The ever-graceful Seekers. The quick and musical Polyhexians. The stern and no-nonsense Praxians. The violent, but mostly misunderstood Warframes. The Pullers who relished in hauling large objects long distances. And so on and so forth. All nomadic, following the mechanimals that drove their way of life. All avoiding each other. All destroyed in the original Quintesson War.

It was assumed that large cities like Iacon and Kaon arose when the thirteen joined together and ushered the remnants of their tribes underground. They each recognized that their own tribe would only be able to survive through co-operation. And so, the surface of Cybertron was abandoned.

But as the small trio stared out over the vast open spaces, D-16 couldn't help but wonder why nobody had ever bothered trying to return. Yes, Sentinel Prime had said that the surface was uninhabitable and it was too dangerous, but had no one ever actually tried to return?

Maybe it was because mechs started emerging cog-less. It was dangerous enough for mechs to survive WITH their cogs. What chance did a cog-less mech have? If they couldn't transform to speed away from danger or to evade a rapidly-changing landscape? Somberly, D-16 brushed a servo over the empty hole in his chest. Right where a cog would be in a mech that had one.

"They're so.. elegant." Elita One suddenly whispered, yanking D-16 out of his thoughts.

"And friendly too!" Bumblebee chuckled, somehow having gotten close enough to one of them to swipe a servo over it's flank. Even more surprisingly, the mecha-deer didn't move away or even seem startled by the action. In fact, it turned to nuzzle it's face into Bumblebee's servo and started snuffling around, as if looking for a treat. They reminded D-16 of the cyber-hounds that only the most elite of the elite owned in Iacon.

"Yeah. How.. strange." D-16 said, shifting forward to hesitantly pet the mecha-deer himself. Despite being made of metal, they were surprisingly soft on the head and wiry on the rest of the body.

Unbeknownst to the trio that was now excitedly petting the mecha-deer (who was greedily lapping up the attention), they were being watched by someone far less friendly.

A pair of light blue optics glared at the group from where they were hidden in a nearby uncovered set of ruins. The figure that belonged to the pair of optics had darted into the ruins to observe the group as they got closer. Their eyes darted between the herd and the group, clearly wanting to keep an eye on both.

Suddenly, the mecha-deer jerked their head into the air, no longer responding to the petting. The other deer and the hidden figure shortly followed. One after another, the lights on the mecha-deer's antlers started flashing red and they bolted. They scattered in many directions, much to the frustration of the hidden figure. If only he still had his cyber-hound. Now, it'll take forever to round them back up himself.

His optics snapped to the trio who was just staring after the herd. It was only when they finally turned around did they finally see the danger looming above the clouds. Poor mechs seemed confused and startled. They began to run towards the ruins.

How ineffective, the figure thought. Why not just transform and speed away?

As the group raced by, the figure reached out and grasped one of them (the small, yellow one he silently noted) and pressed him up against the wall. The other two (the pink one and the gray one) quickly took note and, even though they glared at him in suspicion, followed his action.

D-16 observed this new figure with suspicion and surprise. The figure was primarily red and blue with silver accents. The most startling part of him were his light blue optics and splatters of.. paint? that stood out against his primary colors. He had seen blue optics before, yes, but none as bright and light as these. The strange paint was mainly splatters of purple, green, and white. They marked the mech in elegant (but messy) swirls and symbols he had never seen before.

The mech put a digit up to his intake, indicating that the group should remain quiet. Since this new mech seemed to know more about what was going on than they did, they listened. Even though they didn't need to breathe, every bot present held their breath.

Suddenly, one of the mecha-deer darted into the ruins. Almost immediately, a red light beam from above began to track the deer. The new mech's engine started to quietly growl before he quickly cut it off. After a few seconds of tracking the deer, the small red beam burst into a blinding light. Each mech was briefly blinded. When they looked back where the deer had been, the deer was gone. What looked like bits of metal and energon were sucked into the sky and the air returned to silence.

A small distance from the ruins, a red grid emerged from the sky. The red and blue figure's optics widened and he began to usher the group towards one of the buildings that still had enough of a roof to cover them. The trio saw where he was shoving them and nodded, quickly and quietly starting to run. They had to avoid stray red beams occasionally, but Elita and D-16 made it over quickly.

Bumblebee, on the other hand, was slower and more clumsy. The red and blue figure clearly slowed themselves to keep pace with the ex-trash-sorter, but was looking more and more nervous as the grid grew closer.

Finally, clearly fed up with the slow pace, the figure swooped up Bumblebee into a bridal carry. Both Elita and D-16 were shocked that the small, lithe figure was able to lift Bumblebee, let alone without slowing his pace!

Right before the grid reached them, the figure lunged towards a narrow beam that covered a small patch of ruins. The figure clutched Bumblebee as close to himself as possible and both they and Bumblebee closed their optics as the grid slowly passed over them.

When nothing immediately happened, they cracked their optics open just to see as the grid completely passed over the beam. The figure kept Bumblebee clutched to their chest until the beam finally disappeared. Even after that, they continued to hold Bumblebee for a few kliks before letting the small yellow bot drop to the ground with a yelp.

The figure then turned very angry optics onto the entire trio.

"Who are you?! Why are you here? Do you have any idea what you just caused?! Now I have to move the herd again!" The figure started shouting, pointing his index digit at the group angrily.

Unfortunately for him, the trio did not understand his language at all and only heard what sounded like rather irate clicks, whistles, and beeps. When he realized that the group was just staring dumbly at him, his irritation turned to confusion.

"Um, hello? Do you understand me?" He asked, optical ridges furrowed.

"Uh, hello!" Elita, ever the go-getter, responded first with a wave. The figure simply tilted his head and managed to look more confused.

"Great. Cybertronians who don't speak basic." He mumbled to himself.

"Do you speak Iaconian?" Elita asked.

"I-uh-cone-ee-an?" The figure asked, testing out the word in his intake.

"Yeah, Iaconian. You know? What everyone in Iacon speaks." D-16 piped up. The figure's gaze turned to him.

"I-uh-con?" The figure asked, olfactory sensor scrunching as if the words had a nasty smell.

"Yup! That's where we're from! Iacon!" Bumblebee cheerfully added.

"So I'll take it that you don't speak it based on your reaction to words most mechs know." D-16 stated gruffly. The figure may not have known what he was saying, but he could certainly understand the tone. His gaze turned to a glare again. As he opened his intake and raised his index digit again to likely start lecturing the other, Elita piped up.

"Ok! How about introductions? I'm Elita One." She said, pointing to herself with a smile. "Elita One!" She repeated.

"I'm B-127 or Bumblebee, but I'm trying to make Badassatron a thing!" Bumblebee said. When the figure only looked at him more confused, he chuckled and rubbed the back of his helm. "Bumblebee." He said simply.

"D-16." D-16 said simply. When three sets of optics turned to him, the figure responded.

"I'm named after the constellation Orion, but sometimes the others call me Pax because they say I'm generally one of the peaceful ones." The figure chuckled to himself.

"So.. Orion Pax?" D-16 asked. The figure- newly dubbed Orion Pax- shrugged.

"Close enough."

Hello! Another day, another chapter!

I really don't have much to ramble about today, but I am back on my tea. This is a new one from the ren faire this year- vanilla chai with sugar and milk. The cup is from the same ren faire (but purchased last year).

Last chapter we ended on a cliffhanger with Luo Binghe totally unconscious- we start this chapter with Shen QIngqiu ready to rescue his man and escape!

It's really so upsetting that he is going back to trash (two bar) spiritually energy in this body when he was so used to his mushroom Unlimited Power p65

RIP Luo Binghe's skull LOL he is really being tossed around like a rag doll. SQQ needs to be more careful. p66

I could never with the sword training and literal corpses). pp67-68

OOOOO Meng Mo is back! Is it weird that I kind of love this guy? He has such a cool power and is a bit of a dick, but in the best and worst of ways. Him and Airplane give similar energy and I am not mad about it. p72

Meng Mo seems to have a lot of feelings about LBH. I am not sure if it's just pride or what but whatever it is he is correct here, "The way this elder sees it, he (LBH) should either kill you (SQQ) or do you!" p74

We really ended with him being kidnapped again and with Luo Binghe being conned by his own dad. That was so rough. -500 dignity points (not really but it sure feels like it)

I just rewatched Full Moon and seeing that last scene Blitzø and Stolas ripped my heart out AGAIN and these are my thoughts after watching it a couple times, please don't throw rocks at me

First, I think this is a pretty realistic progression of miscommunication and I've seen a lot of people be on either of their sides, but I don't think there's even a side to be on. Both of them went into this with their own thoughts and pre-formed ideas of what the other wants and how they'd react, and that colored their responses and clouded their ability to process what the other was saying.

Stolas opened the whole thing with "Blitzø, I need my book back permanently" which was absolutely the wrong tone to set here. It reinforced Blitzø's belief that Stolas was getting tired of him, and as far as Blitzø (who is NOT known for his ability to accurately and objectively read people or situations) is concerned, Stolas has just confirmed that he doesn't want him. Stolas immediately clarifies and pours out his feelings, but honestly, that's a lot for Blitzø to hear immediately after feeling like his literal worst fear has been confirmed, that his business—the ONE thing he's worked so fucking hard to build from scratch—is in jeopardy. So along with wondering whether Stolas even wants him anymore, he's now contending with the panic of losing two things, so he likely barely heard and couldn't comprehend Stolas's feelings.

In ordinary circumstances, less high stakes ones for Blitzø, I think Stolas actually did a pretty decent job of communicating himself and his feelings. But I get why Blitzø didn't take it seriously—he's been in an arrangement with Stolas for so long, thinks Stolas is getting bored, so of course he'd think, "Ah, yes, a new role play, a chance for me to do better and keep him from getting bored." Stolas is understandably upset by this, but man, he really did not give Blitzø a fucking second to process at all.

And this is why I think Blitzø's reaction is understandable (not necessarily reasonable or healthy or even appropriate, but I GET IT). Of course he feels like he's being thrown away. Stolas still has power because he's rich and he's royalty and Blitzø is used to being used and discarded and not good enough. Of course he's angry—he doesn't even feel like he's being given a choice because Stolas has already scripted this in his mind, went in prepared, and imagined how it will go. He mistakes Blitzø's misunderstanding and shock for rejection—also understandably because that's what Stolas is used to, and he doesn't seem to have any friends or support, which we've seen is a pattern since childhood.

What we're seeing is two lifetimes of trauma surfacing in the face of genuine connection and love, and neither Blitzø nor Stolas knows how to deal with that. Neither of them has ever seen what it's like to receive that before. Blitzø was in the circus with a dad who sold him to a prince for "a wadded up $5 and a slim fit condom" and was always placed in the shadow of his best friend, who then hated him for 15 years because he thought Blitzø purposely blew him up. Stolas was essentially raised by a butler with a dad who had zero emotional literacy and was then forced into an arranged marriage with someone who treated him like absolute shit.

They've both lived a life where love and relationships are transactional, and they don't know how to function when someone loves them for who they are. Of course they're going to struggle to communicate, and I don't blame either of them for their reactions, but I really, really want to see them have a calmer conversation where they can process this and understand each other and accept love.

Smitten for sweetheart

Here for sweethearts adds that ominous flair to Reginald's relationship with others. He has resentment toward those who have abandoned him by opting out of obligation. Making him cling to those that have chosen him without any obligation, feeling more intense feelings towards them, enough so to overwrite that underlining fear.

He has other friends that he does appreciate and care for, but not as intense as it is for Mary. She's special to him because they are very similar and he feels both kinship (in the social sense) and affection for her, intensifying the longer he knows her. For a bit I was wondering if the attraction model for noisrevians falls differently on a scale depending on if they are of a same general species because of the way a lot of npcs find Mary's appearance to be unsettling/ these people also arent fish, but that is kinda on the back burner because Crowven admits Reginald is a 'dreamboat'/has also been in proximity to fish persons his whole life and I dont know if that skews the results.

Each presentation of Reginald gives us another look into the why he is motivated to make his way back to Mary/ other than the obvious reason that they are soulmates. But in HFSH its very organic and as though it was a starting point with very little influence, a constant. Like he doesnt know that everything could go to shit so fast and he's just young and in love with his girlfriend that would never see him as the discarded child from a happy family that didnt want him.

So happy to be cuddled up with her that the idea that shes waiting for him to kiss her goes right over his head.

you know the dude with the long sea-like hair and freckles and a big smile? and how you can see just a tiny bit of the first and last letter on the back of his uniform?

I learned that if you cut n paste letters from other raimon players' names on their uniforms, the sea dude's tiny letter bits align pretty perfectly with "tsunami"

honestly, i enjoyed it. it gave a nice satisfying closure from the 1st game. there were some routes where it was a bit slow and made me sleepy but most of the time i enjoyed it A Lot. now for my personal fav routes

gill - he was my favourite LI from the 1st game and he still remains as my fav in the 2nd game. funny and cute and sexy plot. i love my happy pathetic extremely sexy megane

my excerpt thoughts

OKAY whew boy. that episode was. not. as bad as i originally thought it would be.

TPTB certainly made a Big Choice to include a storyline about a man looking for his absentee wife’s replacement alongside a storyline about one of the main leads…… looking for his absentee dead wife’s replacement.

the abductor, going through so much grief, does something so horrific and vile he literally kidnaps a woman and her child in order to re-create the family he knows is completely lost to him.

I’M NOT SAYING GRIEF IS GONNA MAKE YOU GO AND KIDNAP A WHOLE ASS PERSON - this is not in any way shape or form okay but grief attacks us in ways we will never fully understand and at times we will never be prepared for. grief ruins lives and destroys any mental sanity we think we might have or be working towards. it’s always up to us to seek out mental help in order to avoid those pitfalls grief puts in our path. i’m just saying grief is rough, so very very rough and manifests itself in so many different ways.

eddie diaz never truly fully processed the grief he’s carrying around with him, grief at having left shannon, grief at ruining the one thing HE THINKS he had going for them, his marriage. he loved her. whether or not you think she was a shitty mother or wife HE LOVED HER DEEPLY this has been stated time and time again. he feels in his soul she was the one he was meant to be with and this all seems to be colored with some of kind of rose tint because she was not perfect nor was she perfect for him or even a perfect mother. but eddie himself doesn’t see that. he never has.

cue the grief he is so desperately clinging to. and then. suddenly right there before him is kim, the shannon look-alike who seems to be just like her in looks but nothing like her in spirit. and what does eddie do? he latches on and he thinks “yes, she’s come back. just when i needed her most (dealing with christopher getting older and needing him less - dealing with repressed catholic guilt - dealing with life / time continuing to move forward), she’s come back because she’s the only one who does.” he has a whole ass girlfriend he’s asked to move in with him, asked to move back out, asked to get to know fully in order to move forward with their relationship (LIKE A NORMAL HUMAN BEING WOULD) but nope. he regresses and sees shannon adjacent and thinks “fuck all that. i’m gonna get to know my dead ex wife’s lookalike instead.”

that is NOT normal behavior for someone who has processed grief or at the very least has been trying to process his grief.

ALL OF THAT just makes me so intrigued. i need to know where this is going and i am so so so so ready to find out.

and that’s the finale… the show may have kept its villain problem to the very bitter end but at least we got cute outfits out of it!!! the epilogue sequence >>>> all the rest of season 3

gamers i just finished A Power Unbound and i really liked it (Alan and Jack are wonderful characters and their romance was sooo lovely) but did anyone else feel like maybe Alan and Jack just didn't matter to the main plot

in my head im crafting a world where they get their "own" book and then there's a fourth book with Edwin and Violet's POVs that is actually resolving the whole Last Contract plot ........ I think the author just had too much on the plate trying to set up a new romance and resolved the last contract and Alan and Jack winded up getting lost :/

more rambling under the cut just about my thoughts on a power unbound in general (spoilers)

really I loved the romance plot between Jack and Alan them growing into their feelings for each other was amazing i loved watching two guys who are super isolated and distrusting of the world learn that it's okay to lean on each other and need help. someone finally able to take some of the weight off of Alan. "my lovely sin-eater, you need to stop" is living in my head rent free, and their final scenes after the party were so beautiful and were such a perfect conclusion. when Jack and Alan actually got to interact with each other i would forget i was frustrated with how the other half of the book was going LOL

i really wish they'd gotten more time and importance in the rest of the book though :( when the rest of the cast (cough mainly Violet and Edwin) were scheming and such, it was so easy to forget that either of them were there -- even if they didn't have much to contribute to discussions i feel like they could've at least contributed more internally. how were Jack and Alan feeling about all this stuff???

just felt like the author didn't know what to do with the non-magical characters in general. Alan not being included in the heist when he was a thief and a perturbator was absolutely bonkers. like they definitely still could've revealed the twist of Alan helping George prior to the book if he was still involved cause the most damning thing he did for that scene was write a letter to Violet

even though the two parts of the book felt pretty disjointed I was satisfied with how the Last Contract plot got resolved the ending to the series in general was really solid. + Alan and Jack's ending obliterated me (affirmative). i want to write like that one day. i loved the epilogue it was so cute :') a happy ending for everyone that was well earned. love Adelaide and Robin getting married for legal reasons they are so QPP to me. Edwin kissing Robin in front of everyone for the first time in the group's little after party was so cute T_T

overall verdict on the book: pretty positive despite the glaring issues i had with it, Alan and Jack's part of the story was so captivating to me that it still made the book extremely enjoyable even with my grievances about it. going to be thinking about their romance for a long time

overall verdict on the series is i loved it, i'm going to miss the world i definitely will revisit this series in the future. marske's characters and worldbuilding are so captivating. i look forward to what marske writes next for sure

I WATCHED NIMONA!!! As someone who read the original nimona webcomic when it was updating (roughly a decade ago??) and was rly impacted by it, I was so excited to watch the film and... they did a really good job!!! it was so beautiful i cried omg... it's def worth a watch!! (long ramble under the cut BWAHA spoiler warning)

...and it was rly completely diff from the original comic but im not complaining?? like its a v loose movie adaptation and the plot/setup was v diff but still v well done... like the comic and movie r both good in their own right... & i laughed and cried a lot... i was surprised at the extent of some of the changes but the emotional parts hit hard(my eyes r swollen from crying) and it was written v well... and visually it's just gorgeous... my jaw kept dropping at the beautiful lighting, and they brought the futuristic medieval setting to life so well i could cry😭

it's funny bc one of the main things i was afraid of was them changing nimona's backstory from the comic, bc even after a decade that's one of the things that stuck w me the most... i love nimona as a chara sm... I was so worried abt them changing it and... they ended up changing it completely... but it was actually really good?! like i cried so hard, it was well done... so I'm glad I didn't have to worry after all jdjfjd🥺 like they Did change it but both ver r good in their own right...

I understand that they had to rewrite the plot completely to fit within the time length of a single movie while still being a contained story, as is always the case w movie adaptations of books, graphic novels, etc which r much longer... Series have a chance to follow the source more closely but that just isnt the case w movies... and as far as movie adaptations go they did an amazing job!! I can rly appreciate both the comic and the movie as their own thing... and I rly liked some parts that were added to the movie, like ballister(blackheart)'s backstory in the beginning, and the addition of gloreth (and her relationship w nimona) was surprisingly compelling... And I really really love that they made Ballister and Goldenloin canon POC 😭😭😭 like that made me so happy!!!❤️‍🔥 When i first saw the casting of riz ahmed and eugene lee i was sooo happy, i was like YAYY IDC IF THEY LOOK WHITE IM GONNA HC THEM AS POC🥰 but the fact that i dont even have to hc bc its canon now... 🥹 SOUTH ASIAN/EAST ASIAN KINGS🛐... and they also didn't hold back with showing them openly as a gay couple... Even tho their dynamic changed a lot from the comic I rly appreciate that...

And there were things that I did miss from the webcomic, like the original setup with goldenloin and blackheart as staged nemesis, them being exes (and some time having passed since their graduation, so they're older, unlike in the movie when it just happened), etc. but the whole setup and plot and everything I completely understand why they had to change it to make it work/fit as a movie, so I get it... so not complaining there tbh bc they did what they had to do... But tbh... TBH... my one(1) complaint(/lh) w the movie... IS I REALLY MISS GOLDENLOIN'S BEAUTIFUL LONG HAIR😭😭😭💔 He would've looked so pretty with long golden locks in the movie artstyle, esp w the gorgeous lighting... glowing gold and flowing in the wind... And I think it would've fit perfectly well with the movie ver of his chara/lore too?? like the new lore of him being a descendant of Gloreth... I could imagine him growing out his hair and bleaching it blonde to fit the image/pressure of being a descendant of gloreth, and to look more flashy and heroic to the public (They did tone down his vanity a lot but im sure he still retains some of it... like he still has that pretty popular celebrity image)... And him having long hair doesnt contradict with him being asian too or the modern setting... modern asian men can and do have pretty long hair😭 Like he couldve still been Asian, just w long blonde hair... It doesn't contradict w his new personality either... And I wish they kept the golden color bc the white/silver makes him look less like a "goldenloin"... (i also love black/gold color combos personally lol)... And i just aldjskd can u imagine movie Ballister stroking Ambrosious's long hair affectionately... pls🥲 WE COULD'VE HAD IT ALL... canon asian madeleine cookie qkjdksdj... story leaks in this fandom is one of the most annoying shit ever and the worst part is that before ppl started mass migrating here from twt there weren't that many (there were still some, especialy when new animations came out) but now i've seen ppl put "honkai spoilers" in their post without puting it in the tags, like bitch... I CAN STILL SEE THIS! (my blocked list greatly expanded since then)

some time into the dharma years, not sure how long, i wanna say a year? but sawyer and juliet are a couple by this point, but also both of them really like miles. i think sawyer falls in love with miles also. and with juliet, there's a Strong Fondness, she really likes miles. cuz despite how hard miles tries, he's actually pretty likable somehow

sawyer and jules have a talk, with jules having to do some prodding cuz sawyer has issues with being attracted to men. but they eventually come to the conclusion that, hey, miles is fuckable, let's add him in sometimes for funsies

and miles, naturally, is down for this, as he finds sawyer and juliet hot too. so the dynamic is, miles is added as a third and miles is like "okay they're a couple but thats not my thing, this is just a casual sex between friends thing and that's it" but miles eventually gets this sad feeling in his tummy when he sees sawyer and jules being lovey together. and he doesn't understand why he's feeling this sense of longing. basically he's in love with them too but he doesn't know what to do with those emotions so he lives in repression and denial

jules is having the healthiest mindset about this but she doesn't see that miles is feeling glum. and sawyer is feeling weird inside about this too but he's ignoring it too. i imagine sawyer has had this mindset of, women = sex and sometimes romance, men = sex. so thats messing with him

im making it all sound like it's Big Sad, no it's a couple having great sex with their friend. and theres some issues in there too

so that goes for about 2 years

then Plot happens and juliet dies. and tho sawyer and miles love each other, they saw juliet as the glue that put them together. and they miss her, of course. so miles, outta respect, never brings up the possibility of him and sawyer doing Stuff again (espech cuz i imagine post-finale, he's going thru his own emotional stuff with richard)

tho the more i talk about it right now, the more sad it feels and my feelings for sawyer/miles are getting stronger. i have miles and richard together post-finale. but clearly i've developed a dangling emotional thread here. hm. hmmm. some rekindling of feelings may be possible. lookit that, my headcanons are changing as we speak

anyways overall the dynamic was, miles would visit their house sometimes, they'd hang out, eat cupcakes, and sometimes bang. and sometimes when miles would be putting his jumpsuit back on, and seeing sawyer and jules cuddling, he'd feel a little empty. and that's not the first time a couple has made him feel that way

these three badly needed to communicate about their feelings more, some regrets were had, but overall it was a nice few years

as for sexual dynamics? juliet has a strong desire for control and that lends itself well to sawyer, the 3rd subbiest man in LOST, and miles, who altho he's a natural switch (& vers!), just naturally tends to end up in the role of people dominating him. i don't think they would have given miles the pain he's into but they certainly had a good time
