Basically the idea was that saffron Evan gets some baseball shirts to wear because they remind him of watching Mike's baseball games when he was a kid. Mike however is completely oblivious to the reason Ev buys the shirts, and just thinks Ev is REALLY into baseball.

As per Jay's idea, Mike buys Ev some baseball cards. Evan hates them, but incorporates them into his pokemon card collection since they're gifts from Mike, and he plays games where the pokemon fight the baseball players.

The pokemon always beat the baseball players in Evan’s game-- except, sometimes, a very specific baseball player will win. This baseball player is on a card that Evan made; Evan made a baseball card of Mike. Sure, most of the time the Mike-card loses, but on occassion, the Mike-card wins, and it's the ONLY baseball player that ever wins.

Mike is completely oblivious that the player on the card is supposed to be him (despite the fact that the player is wearing the same jeresy and team name that Mike had in Little League).

Card Description:

Name: Dum Dum

HP: 969 (a reference to Mike's birthday)

Moves:

Burnout-- Dum Dum hits a flaming baseball into your opponents face. Your opponent is now Burned.

Brain Fart-- Dum Dum says something realy really dum. Youre opponent is now confused.

Error Chara Reference: Volume 06

Knives, so many Knives!! Well, not that many... just 7 And one of them isn't really a knife though to be fair, most of them look like Daggers, and one of them is an Ice Pick... Semantics. I guess I should explain the perks now . _.

Knives:

Real Knife:

Colour: Red

Origin: Undertale

Accuracy+: Attacks land 10mm-50mm closer to their target (average 25mm)

Erase: Chance to Delete certain targets (Only works on targets compatible with digital code, success depends on the author, otherwise 25% average)

Killer Knife:

Colour: Orange

Origin: Killer Sans

Speed+: User Moves 10%-50% Faster (25% average)

Accelerate: Force target to move or sustain damage while standing their ground

Epic Knife:

Colour: Yellow

Origin: Epic Chara

Range+: Blade has an increased attack range of 10%-50% (25% average)

Projectile: Fire's energy bolts from tip of knife

Fresh Knife:

Colour: Green

Origin: Fresh Chara

Evasion+: User has 10%-50% (25% average) increased chance to dodge attacks

Heal: Attacks will recover hit points instead of cause loss

Arctic Knife:

Colour: Cyan

Origin: Arctic Chara

Defense+: User takes 10%-50% (25% average) less damage

Freeze: Force target to stay still or sustain damage while moving around

S. Terror Knife: (title pending)

Colour: Blue

Origin: S. Terror Chara (title pending, still need to create them)

Piercing+: 10%-50% (25% average) More likely to bypass shields and armor

Slow: Targets move 10%-50% (25% average) slower

Cross Knife:

Colour: Magenta

Origin: Cross Chara a.k.a. X Chara

Attack+: Increase damage by 10%-50% (25% average)

Lines: Create 7 parallel lines that the user can instantly move or "blip" to back and forth. User is locked to lines, but can move across them freely

Note: I created a range for story purposes. You want long drawn out battles, use the Smaller percentages. You want big Flashy Rule of Cool battles, use the Larger percentages. Or have these abilities use up some of Error Chara's energy.

For story purposes of my series:

I will probably lean towards average in terms of Buff's and Debuff's

There will be a slight energy drain on Error Chara for usage of abilities

Spamming will drain their energy faster

How many uses do they get?... not sure, something I'll have to think about for balancing purposes, especially since ERASE should probably use more energy than everything else. But I don't want it so low that they tire themselves out after 5 minutes... maybe I'll give them 100 uses for now, and tweak the numbers as the series goes on. If Error Chara runs out of Energy, they pass out until they sleep it off, so kinda important for them to keep track in the VOID!!

And there was a boy who was as homesick as you, Uli. And who read as much as Martina. Loved cake like Matze. And wanted to become a pop star, like you, Jo. And he had an enemy. His name was Robert. He was an Extern from the town here. And although this Robert seemed the have everything the boy wanted, he still picked on him. Pushed him around and made fun of him… Well, like the Externs have done with the Internals for generations, right.“

Jo: „And vice versa.“ Bökh: „Exactly. And vice versa.“ Bökh: „…yes. And one day, the boy’s mother got sick. She was brought here to Kirchberg into the hospital and the boy snuck away from the boarding school every day to visit her. And one day he was caught by the boarding school director. And he got grounded.“

Martina: „Couldn’t he just say what was up?“ Bökh: „No, because it was a very… cold and stern man whom he didn’t trust. And Robert in turn knew from his father, who was a doctor at the hospital, that the boy’s mother was fighting for her life there. So he offered his help."

Bökh: „And so every night he layed in the boarding school bed in place of the boy. So that he could visit his mother. And then they became really good friends. Even had a band together. They weren’t all that bad.“ (sighs) Bökh: „I certainly don’t need to tell you who this boy was, right?" All of the kids in unison: „You, Herr Bökh.“ Bökh: „Exactly. And why I’m telling you this story.“ Uli: „I think I understand it.“

Matze: „So we get Chips and Lemonade?“

Jo: „The Externs today aren’t like that.“ Bökh: „Jo, I obviously care about two things. Firstly; rules are well and good, but not as important as humanity. Ok? And secondly I want you to trust me, that you’re not afraid to come to me. Okay?“

The kids nod.

Bökh looks at his watch.

Bökh: „Alright. I need to get a bit of work done now.“ Martina: „But what happened to Robert?“

Bökh slumps back in his seat with a heavy sigh.

Bökh: „Ach. Robert, he… I think he later studied medicine in the city. Ah, we unfortunately lost touch.“

Jo: „Why?“ Bökh: „… Well, that- That happens sometimes when you become an adult, then… suddenly, your closed loved ones are gone.“ Jo: „… What, just like that?“

Bökh nods silently.

Bökh: „… Mhm.“ Matze: „How sad… I think friends should always stick together.“ Bökh: „Yeah, exactly.“ Jo: „Can’t you prevent that somehow?“ Bökh: „Yes. We need to look out for each other. Ok?“ Bökh: „Alright. I need to get a bit of work done now. Take your lemonades with you.“

The kids scuffle and stand up. Jo takes a bowl of chips with her as well.

Uli: „Thank you."

Only to have spat out the most silver-tongued, sickly saccharine yet bitingly snarky little remark bc he happened to panic upon seeing the man and immediately knew just how bad he fucked that up by the utter look on Diluc's face.

Omg thank you!!!!! It is dedicated to you in a way ahah. The thing is, my themes planning for August had in program to use only the Beast photo– black and white, in the center, against a white background, pretty simple. I'm sure it would have been nice, but there also was a voice in my head going “Nyusa is always looking forward to your themes... And you're displaying something this simple... Are you sure... Are you sure......... ” pffttt. So I went, maybe I can add a yellow filter, maybe even a little tape on the sides, to make it look more natural. Now that I think about it, I could look if there's any nice scrapbook templates I could use. Well now I'm two hours in searching for templates, and I haven't found any, but I've got pretty good inspo, so I guess I'm making my own template ahah. It took forever, but I think it turned out okay!!! Just for fun, here's the reference for some of the objects featured:

The Beast unrelated things don't have any meaning in particular except that's the kind of vibes I wanted to go for. The tiny OTMA extract is a kiss to you of course <33 (was directly taken from a post you reblogged actually ahah). Not featured here, the kind-of-torn-paper brim at the bottom of the header is text from the Beast novel, specifically the Kenji / Akutagawa dialogue on seasons and friends (though I guess it's hardly readable... )

Question for you, on the subject of SPOP ships: would you have been okay with Glitradora (essentially the poly trio) being a thing, had Nate Stevenson decided he wanted to go that direction? I'm just curious as someone who loved how the Catradora arc was done in the show.

(And for the record, I understand your indifference towards both Korrasami and CaitVi--the latter will need some more seasons in the oven to really flourish, while the former is severely hampered by the constant executive interference Nickelodeon pulled on LOK during its original run.)

also agree w everything you say here indifference is a great word for it. caitvi i actually see the potential in them i don't dislike the pairing it just rlly isn't compelling to me. i actually felt a little,,, weird about it? it felt like it came out of nowhere to me?? which i know isn't true but something about it just strikes me as Rushed idk (vi is still one of my favorite characters though)

as for korrasami i lowkey feel bad hating on it bc i KNOW how much the network screwed over the writers about it, but like,,, man i don't even see the potential in this one ahgakjsdas. i will admit though a big part of this is just the general writing of tlok i felt wasn't great so the character dynamics seem sorta weak to me. i AM glad for what they did for representation in kids' cartoons though and i'm glad ppl are having a good time shipping them. the fanart is gorgeous also

"The British Royal family are distant descendents of William the Conqueror, who was himself a member of the House of Normandy. The founder of this House was Rollo, a viking.

House Rowle claims the same blood, though the founder of their House, Arthur Rowle (illegitimate son of Henry III with Leila Shafiq) willingly gave up his royal title to join the Wizengamot - then called the Lordly Council. His descendents scorn their squib cousins' dynasty and their useless throne. For two centuries they have been petitioning for their House to be called Ancient and Royal instead of Noble but the Wizengamot keeps refusing, in large part due to the Malfoys, Rosiers and Lestranges' pressure who, as former vassals of King William, would be magically bound to serve House Rowle (like they did the royal family until they started marrying muggles and their magic died out - though that's conjecture on their part, not fact. Some historians believe the royal family was cursed instead.)

Despite being Dark, the members of House Rowle are traditionally Sorted into Gryffindor, disproving foolish notions one might have that all lions are Light."
