That's what this moment was about. Every since she returned from her getaway trip, Yeji couldn't help but to feel a certain void inside her mind. The things she'd seen, the people she'd met, everything made her believe something wasn't right with her childhood. Kids would play outside, sleep in beds, sit at the table with their family. No cages and no plates on the floor.

The first days after returning to the island were so busy, it helped Yeji to push such feelings aside. But now she was starting to get used to her new routine, it crawled back whenever the demigoddess wasn't keeping herself busy. Yeji pondered several times, how can I get answers? Books wouldn't cut it, she needed a voice to tell her the truth. But who? Ayden was a natural first thought, but, she was scared. Scared the reality would be too embarrassing or hurtful. She didn't want to bring that to her twin brother.

Mom. That's who. Inari would be the ideal person to seek. Despite being her mother, Yeji knew the deity would be direct if her daughter would request such. Without giving another thought, Yeji jumped from her couch, headed towards the elevator and hit the Gods Level. There was no time to hesitate, she needed this. Stopping in front of door number three, Yeji took a deep breath and knocked twice, then called. "Inari? Mom? Are you home?" Her voice was weak but audible enough. Her stomach felt sick with the anticipation, but there was no doubt she is going through it.

"I really need to talk to you. Please…"

|| i just want to take a minute to sound dumb quick , but i have to give a little callout to a few people and really genshin as a whole. I am relatively new to this RPC after having left RWBY due to the community diminishing and then League of Legends for the toxicity and hate shown against me .

all that aside i just wanna say thank you to @capravulpes , @seventhdecrees , @lotosomno , @lunaetis , @luckuki , @electric-ecclectic , @angelxblossoms , @supportingfire , @kabvra-ya you guys have made this community feel like a cool place thats comfortable and it feels like I can be myself here without worry.

i have to give special thanks to @starwardsword for constantly remembering to bombard me with shippy goodness and memes and I absolutely adore them.

As well as @astrclreflection for really being my first friend in genshin as an rpc , I have nothing but admiration , love and respect for you NO MATTER WHAT.

There was a completely blank expression on the Wind Hashira’s face the second he felt his brother wrap his arms awkwardly around his form. He had grown up so much, since they last hugged-- Since everything in their life was better, they were only children then, surrounded by five other siblings alongside them. AH-- fuck. Seeing Genya’s stupid face was enough to bring the memories back and now the idiot clung onto him and made him feel like he was going to collapse any moment. 

He wanted to hug him back, to apologize for everything, to be family once more, but the wall he put around himself was hard to crack. “What the... fuck ... do you think you’re doing....” The words came out in short bursts, a hissing sound with them as the veins on Sanemi’s face began to bulge. His eyes bloodshot, like a feral beast that had been touched without permission. It was for Genya’s sake-- He wanted to tell him, to stay the fuck away from him. He had to remind himself, he had no brother-- To push him away, until he gave up on him. 

The Wind Hashira snarled as hands came down strongly and gripped onto Genya’s shoulders. A grip so strong, the poor boy’s muscles would be forced downwards in a painful display before Sanemi pushed him away with force enough to send his kid brother sprawling on the floor. “Get the fuck out of my sight!! How many fucking times do I need to tell you, I have no brother!! Your attempts to cling onto me makes you look pathetic as fuck.” His words were so so wrong, he knew it, but in his rage to fight the burning ache in his chest, he spilled the most cruelest words.

“Next time you try to do that, I’m going to break every bone in your body!” He snapped, eyes glared at his younger brother before the Wind Hashira turned and stormed off, leaving the boy to eat his words...

Oh, did his heart hurt, and the hurt burned his chest with anger towards himself and everything around him. Why did Genya have to come to find him-- Why did he try so hard to impress him, it was stupid, and so damn dangerous.

So I hate facetime but have two small nephews who live very far away and wanted them to know who I was. So when second nephew was born, I started sending first nephew (4 years old) a postcard every week.

The content wasn't anything special. I made cookies, I saw this flower, my cats did this. He likes trucks and machinery so I scoured redbubble for anything related to machinery and got a giant batch of machine postcards. Whenever I traveled, I'd hunt down a postcard for him.

My second nephew turned four this year, and I started sending him postcards as well. Both of them like Pokemon now, so mostly it's been double Pokemon postcards every week. I don't hear much from them, or my sister, so I just generally hope they're enjoyed and try to remember to mail them before Sunday.

However. This week my mom informed me second nephew likes the postcards SO MUCH he brings them into daycare to show around. And when I shared that with my sister, she told me not only does he bring them into daycare, he sleeps with them at naptime.

The only higher honor would be for her to tell me he's eating them.
