I'm gonna answer this publicly since not everyone has seen my intro post, and it feels like I have to say an official statement. Apologies in advance for the users tagged!!

Like I said in my intro post, while I am a fandom artist in my main, this blog is only for my SMG4 theories and related show stuff. So, sorry but no art requests please. It's not bc of commissions or anything, rather:

I simply don't have the time (last year of university, capstone, production job, etc.)

The tablet I use is hanging on by a thread; I don't know how much longer it will last. Definitely scared that it might crash and lose my progress in what I've drawn. So, while I'm saving money for a new one, I've placed a limit on using it entirely

It's not that I have anything against anyone, yall been chill in the community. Just overall, I don't want to pressure myself into a commitment I can't keep. When I'm not able to. The art you see, it's from personal choice I've made within my limit. I'd rather be honest about it and explain. Again, sorry for rejecting this.

hello tumblr people! i was going through old my art folder and found concept-doodles based on the idea of "what if dh3 existed and was daud and billie simulator".

i made a couple of "mission summaries"; the text is transcribed in alt (and sorry for misspellings! i only noticed them while writing this post :"))

i have a lot to say about it. unfortunately, its really hard to put into words. tldr: the idea was going through daud & billie's storyline from the beginning to the ending of KoD in the form of missions in which their character arcs would bounce of each other. so its either two perspectives on one mission or picking up where the previous left to proceed through the story. hope this makes sense? if you have any thoughts or ideas ill be glad to talk <3

inky help me.. one of my friends keeps calling 4 a pick-me and it makes me upset even though it’s probably not malicious because I heavily identify with 4, but it’s also a stupid reason to get upset…

also he’s saying he doesn’t like 4’s design because “he’s too cartoony” and “his colors are too bright/basic” hop off

Hey, I'm sorry that this happened to you. I totally understand connecting to a character so much that you identify with them, I've been there. It's only natural that you might feel upset about what was said, especially if it came from a friend. Maybe you can talk to him about how you feel about it, though it's up to you how to handle this. It's just a suggestion.

Now, as someone who is a 4 enjoyer, it's pretty simple how to refute it: (1) you can't call someone a "pick-me" unless you understand their character (which obviously he didn't), and (2) as I always said, "evidence is everything". If 4's design was supposedly "bad", he could go ahead and draw redesign fanart. Might as well prove it if you wanna make a point, right?

"Too cartoony" What, does he want it to look like Dark Souls or something? If the recent episode was proof of anything..... I mean, you get it. I'm sure this show and by extension 4 means a lot to you, don't let one person ruin that for you in any way 🫂💙 fr, me and my sibling watch the show together. My brother doesn't and kinda teases us about it, but he knows that we care about it, just as we know he cares about his stuff too. It's settling things respectfully, really. I hope things get resolved for you
