I love the Guaraná plant!!! It's so weird and somewhat freaky!! It doesn't even look real! I want one so bad! 😂 You don't only have amazing myths, you also have an amazing fauna!

You have a really cool take on Delia's godhood, especially her rise towards it. It's a good callback to her OG status as a normal edenian to her new one as a goddess.

I wonder if the hordes of darkness she and the other sorceresses had to face were a result of Shinnok somehow. I mean, he is the Elder God of death, darkness and corruption after all.

This got me wondering about your god hierarchy because from what I get, in your AU there are only gods, not elder gods. So does Shinnok exist? Is he still a god and Cetrion's brother? IIRC, his amulet appears in MK1 but only because it was brought from another timeline and I wonder what Liu Kang did to Shinnok (was it said???) because you can't just erase death y'know?? 😭

My absolute favourite character is Inês, the Cuca! Her myth comes from this lullaby:

And now, regarding the Gods/Elder Gods:

There are two types of gods: The ones who are born Gods, such as Argus and Cetrion. And the ones who ascended into Godhood, such as Delia and Asgaarth!

Godly-borns spawn into existence according to their realms necessities. Outworld lived in darkness, so the God of Light and Fire was born and Earthrealm needed to bear life, so the Goddess of Life, Light and Virtue was born!

Meanwhile Ascended Gods were once mortal beings who sacrificed themselves for their people and were gifted Godhood. Their godly blessings allow them to offer their people what they need the most to survive and prosper.

Delia's people needed a more constant light and protection from the hordes of darkness, so she was gifted the sun and through it, she helped her people.

In life, Asgaarth was the advisor of the First Edenian Queen, Mimh (who's soul nowadays rests in the oldest tree of the Living Forest), he ascended after dying protecting a group of wanderers. He became the God of Wind and Patron of Travellers and graced the wanderers, who had accepted him as one of their own and also pleaded the gods to take him, with powerful wings (and other bird features) that would allow them to travel far and safe!

It is an unspoken rule that Ascended Gods have a closer relationship with the mortals and get to handle their affairs more often. Godly-borns tend to keep a safe distance as they lack a certain empathy only mortals possess.

The only exception is Cetrion, who tried to be a more present Goddess and directly serve her Realms residents.

I've been pondering for a while on how much of the previous timeline and Kronika Cetrion remembers, and through her redesign I think I got my answers! She remembers everything! And she's doing her hardest to go against her mother's desings for her (like I said, it's her rebellious phase, lol)

Which is why she decided to stay closer to the Ascended Gods instead, to learns from them and ultimately grow closer to the mortals under her protection. Acting as such granted her the trust and devotion of the Shirai family and all the women who would become the Order of Cetrion!

Liu Kang is an Ascended God but he pretends to be a Godly-born, because he doesn't want risk anyone finding out about his past as Time Keeper. Cetrion knows, obviously, but she keeps secret. She also knows about Geras still being around and helping but both avoid each other cause they aren't yet ready to talk about their past with Kronika.

Gods may be called "Elder Gods" but not because they rank above other Gods, but because they are literally older, lol! It's the same as calling an elder "sir/mr/mrs" it's just a formality (though when Cetrion calls Argus that, she means it in a derogatory way, lmao)

No God, Ascended or Godly-born, is above other. They are all equals!

Regarding on whether Shinnok is alive or not:

I'm not sure about canon, Liu said Shinnok’s Amulet "wasn't supposed to exist" and it could imply either that Shinnok specifically doesn't exist (and maybe there's a new God of Death) or that he hasn't turned evil yet!

Personally I like both ideas and could be open to either! But my main idea is that Shinnok himself doesn't exist as a deity but parts of his being are still present and manifesting in other ways, such as the hordes of darkness! (Because indeed, ou can't just erase death)

Plus, I have an old theory that the New Era also suffers with Canon Events 🎸 and as much as he tries, Liu can't just erase certain things and they end up manifesting in other ways (the Tarkatans, the Shirai Ryu vs the Lin Kuei, Hanzo and Takeda as Shirai Ryu, Tomas as a Lin Kuei, etc, etc) some things are just inevitable and they will happen one way or another, you know?

Katsuki debuted as #4 hero. His reputation had far preceded him starting with the events of the civil war in his first year at Yueii. By the time you'd arrived to the school the following year, he was basically a celebrity. And, almost from the moment you'd arrived, you'd captured said celebrity's attention. Whether it was the strength of your quirk, your friendly nature, or the way nothing about his gruffness intimidated you; you'd utterly captivated Bakugou Katsuki. By the end of that year, it was clear to the student body that a true power couple had emerged from the hero course.

Post graduation, Katsuki's position in the rankings also created a different sort of pressure for everyone around him. Until Todoroki made it to number 2, there were questions swirling in the papers about who of Katsuki's class would challenge his rank. You and your friends had taken it all in stride, doing your best to be heroes in your own right, and of course Katsuki, all business as usual, hated even discussing tabloids and bullshit posted in articles.

When your group proved unflappable, the stories then turned their attention to Katsuki's personal life. His parent's entire careers had been published, their fashion house under scrutiny purely because it was successful. Those who sought to tear him down tried emphasizing that the privileges afforded him by his family had won him a spot in the top ten. No matter the evidence otherwise through rescue after rescue, there just seemed to be a niche of those who resented any and all top heroes. This, Katsuki assured you whenever you worried over it, was just another part of it. Nothing they said affected his work or the citizen's general faith in him. If anything, curiosity drove him up in the popularity ranks, where he hovered in the low 20s to mid 30s.

Katsuki's limit, however, was reached the moment a rumor about you reached his ears. He got snappish and aggressive with the reporter who dared bring you up. "What the hell are you talking about?! Watch your fuckin' mouth when you talk about my wife!" That clip had gone viral and weirdly brought up his approval as citizens swooned over Katsuki being such a 'dedicated husband' and defending your honor.

Never mind that you two weren't married yet.

It wasn't the proposal you'd been expecting, and you'd been fielding calls from your friends for the better part of an hour when Katsuki arrived home that night. He looked tired, his face fixed in a scowl as he set his gauntlets on the floor and took off his jacket. Before he could move, you did, kneeling down to undo the buckles on his boots. You held them while he stepped out of them, then set them neatly in the rack with the other shoes. When you stood, Katsuki had a puzzled expression on his face. "What was that all about?"

Suppressing a smile, you leaned up on your toes and without any hesitation, Katsuki met you in a sweet kiss. "I just missed you, that's all."

His brows drew closer and he grunted, but didn't question it. "I ordered takeout on the way. It should arrive soon," he let you know. You hummed, following behind as he walked to the kitchen. He grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge and cracked it open, drinking half in just a few swigs. "Seriously, what's the matter with you?" he asked when he caught you watching him.

"You called me your wife," you said, your voice soft despite your eager grin.

Any sign of irritation was wiped from his face, and his crimson eyes shone with something significant. They often did when he looked at you. "Saw that, did you?" he asked almost nonchalantly, though he was also biting back a grin. "Damn reporters work too fast." He set down his water bottle and walked closer, wrapping his arms around you. "You want your ring now, or later when I can ask you properly?"

His brazen manner could still catch your breath after years knowing him. You blinked as tears began stinging your eyes. "Now's fine," you said shakily.

It wasn't until he reached into his pocket that it hit you- really hit you- that Katsuki already had the ring. It wasn't just some flippant comment when he'd called you his wife. He was already planning on making you his. Feeling all too much, tears were rolling down your cheeks as Katsuki knelt down on the kitchen floor of your apartment. He opened the box, brandishing the ring in one hand as he took your left hand in the other. The first sign of nerves showed through his normally cocky exterior as his smile grew more earnest. "Y/N, you've been the best thing in my life for ages. I feel like I don't even know who I was before you. And I don't plan on finding out what life is like without you in it. So..." You almost expected him to demand that you marry him. Instead, he took a breath and looked right into your eyes as he said the fated words. "Will you marry me?"

You nodded. Maybe a bit too eagerly, before the words were fully out of his mouth. Katsuki's smile grew. "Yeah?" he asked, his voice gentle as his thumb swept back and forth over the back of your hand.

"Yes." It was out of your mouth and suddenly it was hard to stop. "Yes. Yes!" you cried happily, bouncing in place as you watched him take the ring out of the box. It was a good thing that he was holding your hand still, because you could feel yourself shaking. He slid it carefully onto your ring finger, then kissed the back of your hand once it was on. It fit perfectly, of course. The ring looked like it had been plucked right from a daydream. It was perfect, just how you'd always hoped your engagement ring would look.

And the man who put it there looked equally perfect as he stood, still not releasing your hand. The moment he was on his feet, you launched yourself fully into his arms, squeezing the daylights out of him as you wrapped your free arm across his shoulders. He caught you without a sound, used to your excitement, obviously pleased by it. You leaned up and captured his lips in a kiss, but you had to break it as you began to sob happily. Katsuki continued to hold you close, swaying back and forth as he finally dropped your hand so he could fully embrace you.

"So fuckin' glad you're mine."

oh god i just remembered a dream i had last night where i somehow won a phannie sweepstakes that i didn’t sign up for and the prize was dan and phil staying at my house for two days.

the first night, i was going to sleep on my bedroom floor. i hadn’t seen them yet, so i wasn’t even 100% sure the phweepstakes was legit. but just as i was going to sleep, i looked up, and there they were.

dan was in my laundry room (which is right across the hall from my bedroom), doing my laundry (most unrealistic part of the dream, but as he fucking should). and phil? phil was standing like he was in this picture:

so basically, this is what i saw:

so i made eye contact with phil, which was a huge mistake. he started stomping towards me, slowly but with really intense stomps, like it was hard for him to move. dan turned around momentarily and then seemed to realise what phil was about to do, and without reacting, turned back to my laundry.

phil was getting closer, and i knew i was in trouble. as quickly as i could, i pulled out my phone to snap a picture for proof that they were in my house, because i always have dreams within dreams that i saw dan and phil and then would wake up still within the dream and have no proof. i managed to capture two shaky pictures before phil reached me and everything went black.

then i woke up (still in my dream) in a room i didn’t recognise. my mom was in the bed next to me. “mom, where did dan and phil go?!?!”

she looked at me confused. “what are you talking about?”

i didn’t answer her, i just asked, “where’s my phone?” my hands were shaking, i knew in that moment that at least part of it had been a dream, but i also felt deep within me that it really happened. i just needed the picture to show her, so she’d believe me.

i found my phone and unlocked it. with shaking hands, i went to my camera roll and clicked on the first picture.

the picture did show my laundry room, but dan and phil weren’t in it. there was, however, a blurry shape in the center. my mom assumed that it was just because the picture was bad quality, but i knew. i knew it was phil. and i knew that no one would ever believe me, that i would have to live with the truth for the rest of my life.

a bunch of other shit happened not related to dnp before i actually woke up for real, but that’s not what’s important.

what’s important is this: do not EVER let phil lester into your house. if he does manage to get in though, PROMISE me, whatever you do, you won’t look him in the eyes.

definitely let dan in though. he’ll do your laundry.

I've been learning how to draw and I'm just getting into anatomy, like learning all the muscles and the names and shit. n'all i can think about is law and i, sitting on the floor in front of the couch. he's got his medical books open, refreshing his knowledge of anatomy for my sake. I'm sat right next to him with my dumb notebook out, listening to him talk about muscles and what they do as i sketch. it evolves into him leaning against me, hazy eyed and tired, pointing to different things as i sketch bodies, telling me shit like, "there's cartilage between these two muscles, so they should be further apart..." - "your missing the muscle there." - "there's a muscle connecting these two parts..." his voice is soft and comfortable, a tone that's only reserved for me. he's studying the side of my face, not bothering to look at what I'm doing until i turn to him, so he doesn't realize I've started drawing his tattoos onto all of my sketches, until i turn to him with a proud smile on my face. his cheeks bloom pink and he hides his fluster behind a light scoff and an eyeroll, but he likes that I'm always thinking of him, thinking of ways to insert him into whatever I'm doing. it fills his stomach with butterflies and makes his heart do funny things.
