stupid thing i picked up on is how jarring the difference is between the eng / tw(+ the other servers?) translations for rinne's 'clothes shopping for the es xmas party' lines are,

twstars ; "This sort of style might suit us well, right?"

engstars ; "Think I'd totally slay wearing this?"

i can understand it being used as a funny sort of moment given the terminology, but it also twists the context (a little).

in the taiwanese translation, it includes the player/producer in the scenario; the underlying suggestion of rinne wanting to match fashion styles with you. an "us."

the english translation extracts the "we" from rinne's statement and replaces it with him asking for your opinion, wanting to hear what you have to say (a yes, preferably?) and vocalizing how he might rock whatever it is he's referring to. it sheds light on him instead.

it's probably not that big of a deal, i just wanted to put this out there as a silly little observation since the two translations provide different contexts + changes the set atmosphere. i suppose they're both charming in their own ways but engstars is just. meh. to me =x=)b

I keep seeing the leather/pleather vs denim jacket poll over and over again with all different sorts of discourse about how there is no plastic-free pleather and like, that's TRUE, there isn't, but honestly I DO think people who don't want to use animal products* also deserve to look cool

and so my suggestion is that y'all google "waxed cotton jacket" or "waxed canvas jacket" plus like, "motorcycle" or whatever style you think is cool, because there's a plastic free leather-look material that is strong and durable and waterproof and doesn't use animal products** AND is plastic free already out there and some of the clothes that you can get made out of it look sick as hell.

*ignoring the fact that most leather is meat by-product that would be going to waste anyway
