Prologue: Unexpected journey

New Nebraska June 1 [5,000,024 This is the year in game] 8:00 am

(R.A.T MC Pov) [MC is gonna be customizable]

Waking up in the city of New Nebraska is not allways noisy so you can imagine that it turns really noisy when a superpowered brawl breaks out in the city center with the leagues of villains and heroes living in it.

Thankfully I can watch these fight go down from the comfort of my home/laboratory by hacking the security cameras across town and having another screen with the news highlights it reads:

The Extremely Dangerous Villain Group Thrasher have entered combat with the New Nebraska Justice Division (NNJD) and New Nebraska Law Enforcement (NNLE) after a failed bank heist.

The live feed shows the city center as the Hero Themis punches the Supervillan Overhaul across the park as the rest of her teammates deal with the others getting the upperhand before one of his arm transforms into a chainwhip and hits her she's sent flying and one of the power armored officers has his waist bends at a weird angle before slamming hard against one of the buildings.

Remi: Oh waists don't bend that way. I say this as after seeing that brutal display if they only knew Overhaul is actually the weakest and on the bottom of the totem pole of Apocrypha the Villain group run by Emperor the Strongest Villain ever and brother to the Strongest Hero ever Stars and Stripes.

Few are privy to this knowledge since its a tight lipped secret and that Emperor is only known by the members of Hades his elites that he only sends out when he needs something done quietly and erasing "evidence" I had the misfortune of meeting Emperor face to face when he came to my home and essentially blackmailed me into joining his group [depending on the players choices you can join Apocrypha and even romance Emperor which is gonna be fun for some boys or ladies😈] I managed to get him off my back for awhile but he will most likely return.

A small voice calling me mommy bring me out of my thoughts before turn around on my chair and see Ratatui me pet Rat climbing on my leg before reaching my thigh. Remi: What is it boy I grab him and I see why behind him an alert blinking red letting me know a hole in time and space and even reality itself is being torn open and the location is....Shepherd Tower my Parents Company.

A. Gear up and Investigate Shepherd Tower.

B. Call Stars and Stripes [You can romance them too their nonbinary for a reason that is spoilers but go by male pronouns to avoid confusion].

C. Keep watching the battle and then investigate later.

D. Fuck it and let the Hero's Deal with it.

I think in general all muses across the board have phones, except Alastor. I think Pentious probably has one but it's either 1) really old or 2) he just never uses it. I do think they all carry some sort of money on them too of course. Other than that I don't think there's much else any of them would carry ?? Most seem to be able to pull their weapons from nowhere like just kinda make 'em form? 

Nimue DOES carry an angelic steel chainwhip on her that's usually hidden under her jacket, but that's because she doesn't know how to ' summon ' and ' send away ' weapons.

i posted this last year🧍‍♀️even before i saw that damned chainwhipping gifset or before the predator/prey au even exists i've always been hungry and desperate for someone to hunt for sport in my dreams. drew-coded 🫵

call me a sicko but i wish im a little bit better at playing video games so i can play games where i get to be the monster that chases and kills people but instead of playing to win i would just hunt them until theyre badly hurt and hide. i would leisurely follow wherever theyre going, watch how they go place to place afraid and seeking help. if they get healed, or if theyre close to finishing an objective, i would chase them again until theyre critically hurt and low on supplies and retreat. we'll do this over and over because i love seeing people get hurt and i find a sick satisfaction imagining the protagonist in game slowly losing hope, conditioned into associating their own agency with senseless beatings. i wouldnt even hide at one point, i would just follow them out in the open, walking slowly, daring them with my display. like, go ahead and try bitch. you know i've always been here watching you and treating you like a toy. i gave you multiple chances to kill me but you cant. it would be sooo awesome if the other player chooses to run headfirst into me, like haha i made you kill yourself lmaoo. sure the game says its a game over, but in my daydreams, i just got myself a new pet :)

Every now and then, I still think about the sharp angle Trevor forces the whip into and how it hits Alucard like a highway accident. It's one of my favorite moments in the show. Something about how the grace and momentum of the fight up until that moment is condensed into a single vicious arc.

I finally got clearance to show my rough animation from Castlevania! I did a lot of animation for this show so I’m going to release these through several posts each week, starting with this one.

For the Alucard vs Trevor sequence there wasn’t enough time in the schedule for me to finish out the animation, so I completed a first pass and the drawings were sent over to Korea for the artists at MUA Film to to tie down.
