GunXReaderXGoo|| Quick(ish) one-shot
OkOkOk this is suuuper self indulgent, and has also been sitting in my draft for literal months, yes they may be a lil ooc but lisTEN- i needed to do this. No one else will so i shall. anyway it's just some drabble about what these lovely guys might do on a nice day with their shared lover

"Goo, honey..? Baby, love, sweetheart, darling, gummy bear, ban-"
"Yes. Hello, enough of that." Goo cut you off while rolling his eyes. "You don't have a million cringe nicknames for Gun y'know."
"Sure I do. I don't have to use them though, since he usually answers the first time." you said while motioning for hi to sit next to you on the couch.
"Yeah, sure." he said with a sigh then sitting down.
"Gun is just about ready, he just finished in the shower." to which Goo only hummed in response.
"Did you ever send me those materials?" he asked turning to look at you.
"...What?"
"I need materials to upgrade my shit, I told you this." he said with an annoyed sigh.
"Oh, on that crappy game you made me download, yeah I'm still only level 6." you replied leaning your head back on the couch.
"WHAT?! HOW? You've had the game for like a week! I was level 24 by then!" he practically shrieked making you slightly flinch from his volume.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're a little loser with almost no life, I get it." you retorted with a chuckle.
"Oh shut your trap! You're just mad you can't play a simple phone game!" he said crossing his arms and dramatically leaning back into the couch.
"Are you two done yet? I'd like to get going before the traffic rush." Gun pipped in from the corner of the room smoothing down his silky dress shirt.
"It's not like you're driving... we'd never make it if you did.." Goo said the last part a bit quieter.
"Even if I'm not driving it's still unpleasant to sit in traffic. Even worse, I'll have to listen to you complaining about it." Gun replied while grabbing your jacket and starting to walk over to you.
"Oh c'mon guys, play nice. It's my day, sooo that means you two are the best of friends today." you said firmly while standing and turning around to let Gun put your jacket on you.
Gun held your jacket while you slipped your arms into the sleeves. When he was done he smoothed over the jacket leaving his hands on your waist, you craned your neck to look at his face behind you.
"The very best of friends." he stated stiffly but with a smile on his face.
"For some reason, I find that hard to believe." you said turning slightly to plant a quick peck on his nose. "Well let's get going then, I want to pick up some smocks so I can keep them."
"Smocks? What the hell is that?" Goo asked with a scrunch of his nose.
"Art smocks, y'know. They go over your clothes so you don't ruin them, and I figured you wouldn't want to wear something at least a dozen other people have worn. They reuse their smocks, more cost effective."
"If even a single thread of-"
"Don't worry my little primadonna you won't mess up your fancy clothes. now let's gooooo." you cut him off, dragging out the end of your sentence. Goo only replied with a scoff and a roll of his eyes.
The three of you made your way to the car and you were off. You all agreed to a deal that at least once a month you got to choose something for all of you to do together. With their busy schedules it was the least they could do. Both Gun and Goo knew you valued the little time you got with both of them, but they also knew you wanted to spend time with them together. That's why today you chose to go to a small town you used to visit all the time as a kid, you looked up what the art center was doing today and it just so happened they were having a 3-hour long open painting session. You liked creating things, whether it looked professional or not didn't matter to you, just that you liked it and that it was fun. You were a little nervous with Gun and Goo there, you were hoping they wouldn't start a fight over nothing and then you'd have to awkwardly pack up your canvases and shuffle out of the place as if you didn't know them. Regardless, you were still excited too. You'll get to relive some nostalgia, paint, and spend time with your men, it's the perfect trifecta for a perfect day.
As you were getting closer to the destination you were getting more and more restless, just about ready to jump out of the car and wander around the place until you felt satisfied. You pointed where to go out to Goo, definitely annoying Gun with your frantic pointing and leaning so far into the front you were practically sitting on the center console. Finally, you arrived at the front of the building jumping out of the car before even coming to a full stop. You ran inside and to the front desk to check in, Gun and Goo came in shortly after you. You excitedly babbled on about all the time you spent here as a kid, barely taking a breath between words. It wasn't until Gun put his hand on your back and started to walk to the Courtyard, where the open painting was being held, it was breathtaking. When you were here last there weren't huge willow trees, a peaceful little gazebo, or the bright wildflowers dotting the whole yard.
"-snookums, babygirl, princess, honey bunches of oats?" Goo's voice finally reached your ear.
"Uh-huh, yeah, wait. What?" you turn to him with a confused look.
"THAT is what got your attention? Really? None of the cutesy ones?" he asked with a slightly annoyed tone. "Not even my beloved worked.." he sighed.
"Aww, how sweet~" you cooed while latching onto his arm.
The three of you painted although it was more you and Gun painting while Goo just flopped his brush around the canvas every now and then between bothering you by trying to paint on yours. You all talked about meaningless topics and even cracked a few jokes, Gun too, surprisingly. This went on for about an hour and a half before you were satisfied and starving. You packed up everything and the instructor told you that you could stop by tomorrow to pick up your paintings, that way they could dry over night. Which you were thankful for seeing as you saw no way that Goo would allow wet paint in his car.
After dinner, at yet another overly fancy place, with the two men you all had went back home. Almost immediately as you got inside Gun and Goo started to argue on what movie you'd be watching to which you let out a long over-exaggerated sigh causing them both to stifle their arguing opting instead to take off their shoes and jackets to walk over and sit on opposite sides of the couch in silence while you riffled through all the different DVDs you owned, settling on one of your favorite movies. After you set up the movie, grabbed a blanket, and a bottle of wine and three glasses you sat down between the two of them pouring their glasses and handing them off. You glanced back and forth between the two of them hoping they'd get the hint, which they did as they both scooted closer Gun resting his free hand on your thigh and Goo sliding his arm around your waist. You pressed play on the movie and settled in comfortably between the two, a content sigh leaving your lips.
By the time the movie was done and you were ready to get up and head to bed you realized both of them had already fallen asleep, both clutching onto you in their own right. You slightly adjusted so you were a little more comfortable, only for Gun to mumble for you to go to sleep and pull you into his chest, which made Goo stir and latch onto your waist putting his face to rest on your stomach. You sigh and lean forward as much as you could to give a kiss to the top of Goo's head then laid back to crane your neck and place a kiss on Gun's jawline, not long after drifting off to sleep.

ISHELIA NOFELTAL / POCHI KURO
Tumblr media
today’s agenda: gaslight, gatekeep, but most importantly, girlboss
a demon of royal blood, so that already speaks volumes;  nobly laughs in your face, ojou-style
primadonna girl, yeah.  all i ever wanted was the world.
*spams charm spells in your direction* do you love me now?  ♡
her family consists of a crappy single dad and power-hungry brothers.  i mean, can you blame her?
she was given everything since childhood, so anything that goes against that either catches her attention and / or gets eliminated
mostly the former because she’s a lady, and they don’t dirty their shoes.  that’s someone else’s job :)
but without her abilities, butler, and entourage of bird bodyguards, who is she now??  *faints dramatically and cutely*
she’s actually pretty nice in demon standards, it’s just the usual tsundere and bitter personality that plagues it.
anyway, looking for a cute and nice underling who’d love to work for free.  dm if available. benefits can be discussed  ♡

One of these days… warning, boring rant, and espanto
- very loud thunderstorm at night, non-stop lightning, caught a few hours of sleep eventually. Morning: calling Canada Revenue Agency, to find out why I can’t log into my account. They give me some advice. To know if it works first I need to activate my new debit card from my Canadian bank, partner with CRA. Logging in through my second bank, also a partner, doesn’t work. One hour on hold with the bank, “unusually high volume of calls, blah blah”, giving up, will try at midnight. BUT! I learned that I did my tax return correctly 😳 and I’m getting a tax refund 🤩 One hour on hold with Service Canada, who for the third year in a row suspended part of my pension, as a penalty for not sending them certain form. I’m not supposed to and don’t need to send them the form. After last year complaint letter it was fixed… until this year. At least I did not have to argue, they will pay, probably until July next year, when they will suspend it again. Your government working for you! 👍🏼 The water pump, instrumental to have hot water, does not pump water, after 2 hours of work, $80, and a new part. Need to call a different, very expensive maestro who hopefully will know what’s wrong. Got the hot water going by turning on my washing machine for 3 minutes (no I’m not making it up). The pump is an extremely capricious primadonna and I‘m getting tired of it. 😡
Señor Pedro delivered weekly update: his suegra went to do MRI in Quito, where she refused to lay down or take off any of the many layers of clothing. She wants to go to a different shaman, since the first one did not help. She says she got espanto***, doctor says she got acute UTI, for which she refuses to take medication. The whole family is in upheaval and very fed up with mamá, the washing machine saga is on the back burner. Another thunderstorm in the afternoon. That’s it, it was this kind of a day.
*** For these of you who don’t know: simplifying, espanto is a response to a traumatic occurrence or event; it also can be caused by Earth, offended by someone’s transgressions, sometimes by a spirit of a dead person; it’s believed that as the result, part of the soul is lost, temporarily left the body, or is trapped by Earth. In extreme cases espanto can end in death. It’s usually effectively cured by a shaman, who performs a cleansing procedure.

"WAAAUUAAAAAAAHHH!"
Chloe Bourgeois counted herself lucky that she had been on the way to the wedding of her one-time object of affection, Adrien Agreste, when she heard the outcry. The antics of Crepe Of Wrath had gone completely unnoticed by the future fashion magnate because she was too busy making sure her hair and makeup were flawless. If she was going to let go of Adrien once and for all, she was going to make sure he would know what he was missing when he glanced in her direction.
And now, some ninny was screaming and interrupting her mental preparations for finding someone new to crush on. Rolling down the window of her limo, she began to shout, "HEY! WHAT IS THE IDEA OF-"
Oh no.
What the hell was Marinette Dupain-Cheng doing flying through the air — especially in that billowy wedding gown, all white poofs and elegance? Maybe she would hit the pavement and become a greasy splatter. What else was going to lift her spirits than seeing her rival for Adrien's affections meeting an untimely demise?
But no such luck. Chat Noir sailed out of nowhere and snagged her out of the air before she could strike ground. Fine. As much as that would have simplified her life, she couldn't deny that in the back of her mind she actually was glad that she didn't witness one of her Françoise Dupont High schoolmates die - at least, right in front of her. That would have been gross.
Besides, Marinette might have deserved to lose Adrien, but not death. Even someone as irritating as her was a human being.
When the limo finally came to a stop in front of the church, she saw Marinette rushing up to the crowd congregated out front. There was some kind of discussion, tears were shed… boring. Because it wasn't about her. Just as Chloe opened her door to exit the limo, too impatient for her servant to do the honors-
"CHLOE!"
Before she had enough time to do anything more than squeak out "Marinette Dupain-Cheng, just what on Earth do you-", she found herself being shoved backward into the vehicle again as a well-dressed bride climbed in after her.
"Chloe, I will let you put a picture of my underwear all over the internet if you drive away right now!"
Oh, that was too good to pass up. Chloe bade her driver to take off from the curb, even though a couple of fists had begun to pound on the windows just then. What did she care? Money would take care of their commoner fingerprints.
"Well, I did what you wanted, you insane pleb. When do you cough up payment?"
"What?" Marinette was still too busy gasping for breath and fanning her face, trying to evaporate the sweat that was beginning to break out all over her pale skin. Disgusting. "I… what do you mean?"
Rolling her eyes, the blond primadonna folded her arms over her slight chest. "Are you even stupider than I thought? The deal was that I helped you make a getaway from whatever, and I get to post nudes. Your reputation is history, Dupain-Cheng."
Drooping visibly, she whined, "Aww… come on, Chloe, have a heart. I just really wanted to get away from there, I…" Her eyes started to water. "He didn't show up."
He didn't? How horrible. Marinette must have been devastated. Well, Chloe was fresh out of hearts — at least, ones that bled for people who put themselves in situations like these by marrying someone who couldn't possibly love her when Chloe Bourgeois existed on the same planet. The way she saw it, the universe was correcting a cosmic mistake. "Boo hoo. Cry me a river. Start getting naked or I'll even make you take off your underwear."
"That's awful! And how are you going to make me do anything? All I have to do is jump out of this limo."
"Go ahead." Marinette tried. And failed. "The locks are controlled by my driver for safety reasons. Only I know the secret code to open them from back here. But don't worry; I will be very glad to kick you out. Just as soon as you live up to your end of our little deal."
The irritation in her rival's dopey face was priceless. Chloe lived for that. Even better when Marinette began struggling out of the wedding gown, grumbling and swearing under her breath all the while. Though probably not actually swearing; that didn't seem like the little goody two shoes at all.
However… the mayor's daughter's feelings begin to shift the more of Marinette's trim body she saw. Maybe she wasn't being entirely objective when she called her "ugly". Once the slip came off, Chloe found herself clearing her throat and looking away. Why? Wasn't this exactly what she wanted? To humiliate the object of all her rage and disgust?
"Okay, hurry up," the girl grumbled. "I just want you to drop me off at my place so I can forget this day ever happened."
When Chloe turned and raised her phone, she had been expecting to see something cute, like strawberry patterns or pink bows. Juvenile, like Marinette. Why was she so shocked to see the red-and-black lace? It wasn't that weird — especially considering it was supposed to be the brat's wedding night.
"Chloe? Um…" Marinette was shifting awkwardly, cheeks beginning to turn red. "Can you hurry up and take the picture, if you're going to?"
"R-right! Of course, let's make sure you're humiliated everywhere." But her finger hesitated over the shutter button. Why? She couldn't possibly have been feeling any kind of sympathy for this pustule on the face of society.
Nope. Marinette deserved it several times over. So she took a couple of pictures. "That's it… now turn around and let me see that nonexistent derriere of yours."
The absolutely flushed baker-slash-designer did as she was asked, her high heels clattering to the floorboard of the limo as she knelt on the seat. Hips shifting awkwardly from side to side. Chloe felt her heart racing now; this was obscene. And why on Earth was her body reacting to it? What was wrong with her?!
"Well? Did you get it?"
"Don't… rush me…" Click. Now she felt like a total pervert for taking these pictures, even though she knew the purpose was to humiliate this dunce whom had been a thorn in her side throughout her entire school career.
Wasn't it?
"Chloe, you really are the worst," she breathed, eyes brimming with tears as she looked off out the window. As if trying to distract herself.
"No, you're the worst." But the whole situation had her second-guessing herself so badly that she sighed and bit her lip. "Looking like that… making it weird."
"What do you mean, I'm making it weird?! You're taking pictures of my butt!"
"I-I am not!" She was. "Okay, but they're for blackmail purposes! Or something!"
"I thought they were as payment for the escape…?"
"Sh-shut up!" Sighing, she put her phone away, still staring at Marinette's pert little rear. For some reason. "I'm… oh, just get out of this limo before I actually do post these."
Marinette was clearly stunned when she turned and sat down, looking at Chloe. "Wait… I thought you already did. And whoa, why are you blushing?!"
"I'm not blushing, you're blushing."
"Well, yeah! But you are, too. Is everything alri-"
"Shut UP! Just shut up, alright?! Making everything difficult, always ticking me off and- j-just GO AWAY!"
Marinette started trying to struggle back into her dress, clearly panicked by the irate tone of her rival. And of course, she was so klutzy that every movement basically set her back to the start; she dropped her shoes, picked up her dress, slipped on her slip and dropped everything again. But something about the way she was crying and undressed, and the way she finally collapsed into sobs because nothing was going right…
Chloe… wasn't laughing at her. For some reason.
"It's alright," she finally sighed irritably, kneeling next to her on the floorboards and patting her shoulder awkwardly. "You can't help that you're stupid, and lame, and Adrien obviously realised he was making a mista-"
Her words cut off when she felt arms flinging themselves around her body. Marinette was sobbing into her shoulder. Just because of that insignificant shred of sympathy?! Clearly this dumb girl was overwrought, and not even the queen of the school could bring herself to push her away because the sobs were just so pathetic.
And… her back was really soft. She smelled sweet, like macarons and sunshine. Chloe felt her brow furrowing as she embraced her a little tighter.
"I'm sorry," Marinette finally breathed brokenly as she clutched at her back hard.
"W-watch it, this is a Versace blouse." She cleared her throat, petting over her soft raven locks. "It's worth more than your life, you boob."
"S-sorry for that, too, then. Aughhhh…" She drew back, swiping hard at her eyes. Why did she miss that hug already? "Thanks for getting me out of there, and like… p-putting up with my breakdown."
"This was bound to happen. But… yeah. Um, and you should get out of here before I change my mind."
"It doesn't matter," Marinette sighed as she started struggling back into her dress in the confined space. At some point, a foot smooshed into Chloe's face, and she sputtered and squealed words that were incoherent due to the high volume. "Ngh… you still have the pics, you can blackmail me anytime. Doesn't matter."
"Oh yeah? That's what's bothering you? Gimme your stupid phone, stupid."
Marinette did. And Chloe snapped a quick selfie from a very low angle and handed it back. The dumbfounded girl whispered, "Did you just… take a… a p-p-"
"I believe it is called an 'upskirt'," Chloe grunted, even as her cheeks burned brilliant crimson. "And you're such a goody-two-shoes that you would never post it anywhere unless provoked. So there; it's insurance. Get out of here."
They were quiet as Marinette finished dressing, though she still looked disheveled. The limo dropped her off in front of the bakery. Just as Chloe moved to close the door, the ex-bride suddenly asked a pertinent question.
"Wait - why didn't you just delete my pictures? Why take one of your underwear on my phone, instead, Chloe?"
"That's… I'm-" Why did she have to have a valid point? "DON'T YOU EVER SHUT UP?!" She slammed the door shut and snapped, "Drive!"
The answer, of course, was that she had no idea. But given the way that she kept taking out her phone to glance at Marinette's lithe form, Chloe Bourgeois had an inkling - one that she was going to stubbornly ignore until it went away. Hopefully.
"I hate you, Marinette Dupain-Cheng," the panicking princess muttered as her heart thudded loudly in her chest, thumbs caressing up and down the sides of her phone screen. "Hate you with a passion."

2D/murdoc walking in on their s/o dancing around in the kitchen like a dorky ballerina because they thought they were home alone
2D: You usually wake up earlier than 2D but this morning you thought you would surprise him with a little breakfast in bed. You walked into the kitchen and turned on the radio to play some tunes while you cooked. As you got all your ingredients together, “Primadonna” by Marina and the Diamonds started playing. You began to sway your hips to the music and sang along. “Primadonna girlllllll, all I ever wanted was the worldddddddd.” You giggled as you poured some flour into a mixing bowl. Just as you were going to grab the milk you heard and cough behind you and you jumped spilling milk all over the floor. 2D suddenly ran over to help you clean up the mess you had just made. “I’m sorry, love! I didn’t mean ta scare yew.” You laughed and grabbed more paper towels from the counter. “It’s alright, I just wasn’t expecting to see you awake before noon.” 2D giggled and smiled over at you. “Nice moves by da way.”
Murdoc: Murdoc had been in the recording studio nearly all day and you were getting restless. You sat in your room and groaned as you looked at the clock. You just checked up on him ten minutes ago. You sat at the edge of your bed and watched the clock. With every passing second you thought you were going to die from waiting so long. You got up and decided to playing some games on your phone. When you opened your phone, “Poker Face” by Lady Gaga started blasting. You jumped at the sudden increase of volume and tried to turn it down. Once it was silent again, you looked down at your phone and curiously turned up the volume again. You smirked to yourself and jumped on the bed. “I’ll get him hot, show him what I’ve got!” You began to sing along to the song while jumping all over your bedroom. As the song came to an end you began to slow dance with one of Murdoc’s many sex dolls. You believed the one you had grabbed was named Lola. “No he can’t read my poker face.” You spun the doll around and froze when you saw Murdoc standing in the doorway. He gave a slow clap and he walked near you. You dropped Lola and felt your face get hot. “Next time why don’t you let me be your dance partner.” Murdoc chuckled and winked at you as he turned off the music.

-follow up a series of dark/sad themes with a few happier themes -try not to engage in the violent/depressing themes, but i know sometimes it’s just too hard to resist, so when you just *have* to daydream violence and the like, if it gets too intense for your health, cut off the music, take a little break, put on a happier song even if you don’t feel like listening to one yet -please turn the volume down, darling -drink water!! take breaks -if you cry, it’s okay
i hope this helps!! sorry to the boys, these are mostly directed @ girls cause i’m a girl and so is my parame :// if you’d like to request more themes, drop them in my inbox or leave a comment and i’ll see what i can do for you!!

What is Philips EP 1200 vs EP 2200 vs EP 3200 espresso machine
Tumblr media
As known, coffee appeared in Europe in the first half of the 17th century and immediately gained immense popularity. Thus, today its history is almost 400 years old, and the coffeemaker has long been a mandatory attribute of most kitchens. Of course, the high competition level due to huge demand forced companies to constantly improve their models for several centuries. As a result, the modern market offers a huge range of great coffeemakers of various types from several hundred manufacturers.
Tumblr media
The modern consumer market is usually characterized by a fairly stable, but short list of leaders. For example, today more than 600 companies are developing and producing phones. However, almost 80% of the world market belongs to ten major manufacturers, including South Korean Samsung (21% - Q3 2019 results) and LG (3%) giants, American Apple (12%), Finnish Nokia (1%) and Chinese Huawei (13%, including Honor), Xiaomi (9%), Oppo (9%), Vivo (8%), Lenovo (3%, including Motorola), Tecno (1%). The situation in the TVs segment is similar. For example, Samsung TVs, LG TVs or Sony TVs are constantly present in almost all top lists. Delonghi and Philips have a similar status in the coffee machine segment.
Introduction
But leader status requires companies to have a high innovative level, a flexible pricing strategy, impeccable quality of components and assembly, etc. The constant updating of a wide range in all price segments is one such condition. For example, in 2014 Samsung introduced 56 new smartphones, and LG - 41 new models. Of course, this strategy requires significant costs, but it's very effective as a competition tool. The coffee machine segment is fully consistent with this trend. For example, the Delonghi line up today includes the PrimaDonna, Dinamica, Magnifica and Autentica series, newest Maestosa (EPAM 960.75.GLM), and Nespresso CitiZ in the single-serve espresso coffeemakers segment. Moreover, some models of the DeLonghi Dinamica Series are the bestsellers among mid-budget automatic expresso models. But Philips does not lag behind its main competitor. As known, in 2009 company bought the famous Italian Saeco. Today it offers the Philips models in the budget and mid-budget segments, and a wide range of Saeco coffee machines. The Philips 1200, 2200 and 3200 are the latest series from this manufacturer based on the new platform.
Tumblr media
Except for the colors, the list of differences includes the use of manual or automatic LatteGo cappuccino maker, some settings and the presence of the AquaClean filter. Strictly speaking, the new series can be positioned as an updated version of the Philips 2000/2100 Series. Of course, the new platform got rid of almost all the cons of its prototypes. In particular, the company increased the capacity of all containers, including for water - up to 1.8 liters, for coffee beans - up to 275 grams, for wasted coffee pucks – 15 portions. In addition, the company increased the drip tray size.
Lineup
1200 Series: – basic EP1000/00 (only in Europe) - without any frother at all, only espresso and lungo of different volumes.
Tumblr media
- EP1220 with a manual panarello cappuccino maker, but without an AquaClean water filter.
Tumblr media
2200 Series: - EP 2220 / 2221 / 2224 (glossy, matte, lighter) has an AquaClean filter.
Tumblr media
- EP2030 / EP2035 / EP2231 with the LatteGo automatic cappuccino maker of a 250 ml has some beverage buttons, including espresso, coffee (cafe lungo), cappuccino and hot water.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, the model only offers the setting of the beverage total volume without setting the milk volume. 3200 Series: Flagship Philips EP3221 with manual cappuccino maker supports the largest selection of making black coffee, including espresso, coffee (cafe lungo), additional programming cell for long coffee, and americano (espresso + hot water).
Tumblr media
Additionally, a separate adjustment on the panel provides a choice of one of three brewing temperatures at any time. Other models use the same temperature in all modes and can only change it when the device is turned off. EP3241 / EP3243 / EP3246 flagships have LatteGo automatic cappuccino maker and beverage buttons, including espresso, coffee (cafe lungo), americano, cappuccino, latte macchiato, and hot water.
Coffee/water volume adjustment
Of course, the choice of one of three volumes for any beverage claims to be one of the main improvements. This feature provides a volume selection for each recipe. But the coffee machine allows you to program only one of three volumes. The first two volumes for each drink are pre-installed at the factory. At the same time, the coffee machine remembers the last choice of strength / volume for each drink, offering them in the next cycle by default. Presets and adjustment range: - espresso: 35/50/80 ml. The last value varies from 40 to 230 ml. - coffee: 110/140/230 ml, (last value 40 - 230 ml); - Americano: (50 ml of coffee + 60 ml of water) / (50 ml of coffee + 130 ml of water) / (50 ml of coffee + 180 ml of water). Coffee ranges from 40 to 230 ml with a maximum total volume of up to 400 ml. But this mode has a peculiarity. The coffee machine can prepare two servings at the same time, pouring two espressos in a row. Then device adds a twofold volume of water. In addition, this mode supports single-cup making coffee; - Cappuccino: (60 ml of milk + 35 ml of coffee) / (100 ml of milk + 50 ml of coffee) / (200 ml of milk + 80 ml of coffee). Coffee - from 40 to 230 ml, milk - up to 340 ml; Latte macchiato: (120 ml of milk + 35 ml of coffee) / (230 ml of milk + 45 ml of coffee) / (340 ml of milk + 55 ml of coffee). Coffee - from 40 to 230 ml, milk - up to 340 ml; Hot water: 60/160/400 ml, adjustment range up to 400 ml.
Key Features
High performance 15-bar ULKA pump, the 1500 watt thermoblock and the ceramic grinder with flat burrs have not changed. But the new coffee grinder has 12 grind levels. Unlike the previous series, the new platform supports three levels of strength setting from 7 to 11 grams of grains. The new platform does not support Milk Clean mode (separately foamed milk). LatteGo is also a significant improvement to the new platform. As known, the company first introduced the new two halves milk frother called LatteGo in the Philips Series 5000 on the IFA 2018 in Berlin. Technically, it works like any cappuccino maker or outlet pipe. But the developers significantly improved its design by hiding in the side wall the channels for supplying steam and milk suction from the bottom. In fact, the entire dairy system consists of a jug, which is easily divided into two parts.
Tumblr media
As a result, it's very easily removed, disassembled and washed under running water. But its capacity of 250 ml is convenient for making only 1-2 cups of cappuccino / latte per day. With large volumes, a traditional full-sized jug in the refrigerator is more convenient. In addition, unlike traditional jugs, LatteGo does not limit the addition of various cocoa blends or syrups to milk for raf-coffee. Subsequently, its grooves are easily cleaned with an ordinary cotton swab.
Conclusion
PROS - traditionally very high quality of materials and assembly; - a wide range of adjustments.
Tumblr media
- LatteGo; - setting the volume of coffee / water / milk; - very good sensitivity of the touch buttons; - platform for cups; - AquaClean filter; - wide bunker is convenient for filling beans; - models of the new platform are very easy to disassemble; - Aroma Extract system; - ceramic coffee grinder with 10 grind levels; - double espresso for americano. CONS - no Milk Clean mode (separately foamed milk); - LatteGo noise level reaches 60 dB. Of course, the company managed to create a very successful new platform for their coffee machines. EP 1200/2200/3200 models cover almost the entire average price segment from $ 550 to $ 800. High quality at an affordable price provides them with a successful competition even with the very popular DeLonghi Dinamica Series. This video review demonstrates the Philips 3200 Espresso with LatteGo. Read the full article

Music Retrospective #1: Metallica
In 1981, Danish drummer Lars Ulrich put out an ad in a magazine known as The Recycler for a jamming buddy. The man who answered that add? James Hetfield. Lars then asked Metal Blade records founder Brian Slagel if he could record a song for their compilation album Metal Massacre. Slagel gave them the okay, and the rest they say is history.
Officially forming in October of that year, Metallica would go on to influence the next 30 years of hard rock and heavy metal. And in this review/retrospective of their staggering discography, I intend to give you my critical thoughts and personal take on one of the finest metal bands of all time, and one of the bands that inspired me to become a musician.
Ground rules before we get going: No live albums and no compilations. So no S&M, no Live Shit, no Garage Inc., you get the idea. First album up!
Kill ‘Em All
Starting out with bassist Ron Mcgoveny and shred master himself Dave Mustaine, Metallica enjoyed a fair amount of success on the club scene, and recorded some demos for Metal Blade Records, but due to drug problems and all around shitty behaviour, James and Lars gave Davey boy a bus ticket and told him to get out of the band, with McGovney leaving soon after. The line up that would grace the debut record Kill ‘Em All would be James, Lars, and new guitarist Kirk Hammet and bassist Cliff Burton. Oh boy, what a debut album it was.
Firing on all cylinders with scorching riffs and solos, this album provides you with some of the best 80s thrash metal that you can find. Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield provide blistering thrash metal guitar work, with some of the heaviest riffs and firey solos you can find. Further, the mastery of Cliff Burton’s bass work is on full display, most notably on the incredible solo known as “Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth)”. My personal favourite song would have to be the 7 minute biblical head banger, which Dave Mustaine would later perform on in its original incarnation on Killing is my Business (We’ll talk about that band another time), “The Four Horseman”. While a great album, it is certainly not a perfect one.
Kirk had been told to emulate Dave’s playing as much as possible during the recording of this album, and while stellar, it would pale in comparison to the unique style Hammett would eventually adopt later on. Moreover, I was never a big fan of lower quality, 80s thrash production style, so I was not the biggest fan of hearing James’ voice caked in reverb and the playing not as tightly knit as on later albums. Plus, the weakest song on the album has to be “Phantom Lord”. I’m sorry, but this is some weak ass, generic thrashy bullshit. Nothing memorable about that song.
Overall, an essential album for metal fans, and Metallica fans especially.

Ride the Lightning
With thrash metal beginning to flourish in the early 80s with the likes of Slayer and Anthrax gaining prominence, as well as bands like Exodus and Sodom starting to form and get noticed, Metallica maintained its foothold atop the mountain and did so with 1984’s “Ride the Lightning”. Becoming more technical and pristine in their playing and production, Metallica evolved into the band we know and love on this album. Incorporating acoustic guitars, more complex arrangements, slower tempos, and providing some of the grandest sounding metal I have ever heard, Ride the Lightining is a treasure. From brooding ballads such as Fade to Black, the magnificent title track, the Hemmingway inspired anthem For Whom the Bell Tolls, this album features Metallica venturing into more morose and serious lyrical content, resulting in some of their best material ever. My personal favourite song, a little gem of a diddy known as “Escape”.
I doubt you could find a song you didn’t like on this album. Highly recommended. With Metallica getting this great, I don’t know how we’re going to top this album. But oh boy, do they ever top this album.
9.5 out of 10
Master of Puppets
In the year Nineteen hundred and eighty six of the common era, the gods bestowed upon us MASTER OF FUCKING PUPPETS. Good god. This. Fucking. Album. Easily Metallica’s most pristinely produced, tightly performed, and expertly written album. Evolving to combine the more progressive, grand arrangements of “Ride the Lightning” with the more straightforward, blistering thrash of Kill ‘Em All. Kirk Hammet and James Hetfield’s guitar work raging through with precision and soul, and Lars ripping out some of the most blistering drum work he has ever done, with Flemming Rassmusen and the band conjuring the most pristine and polished sound they could. There is a reason why this is regularly cited as one of the finest albums in metal history. Not a single bad song can be found on this album. Personal Favourite? Jesus god, throw a dart. But if I had to choose, I have always had a soft spot for the heavy as hell “The Thing That Should Not Be”.
This was the first Metallica album I heard, but even if you shed the nostalgia goggles and look at the album with critical eyes, you still find a towering classic of the genre. Unabashedly recommended, buy it yesterday.

...And Justice for All
Metallica has reached an all time high...but tragedy would strike, and take the band to a very personal low, as bassist Cliff Burton would pass away due to a bus accident on September 27th, 1986. With the tragic passing of Cliff Burton, Metallica was short a bassist. Enter Flotsam and Jetsam member Jason Newstead *cut to interview regarding Jason joining Metallica* With Newstead entering the picture, Metallica would then release the follow-up to the staggering Master of Puppets known as And Justice for All. Look, this is great album in its own right, but this album had to follow Master of Puppets. This album could not live up to such hype. But despite personal tragedy and a insurmountable challenge of trying to match, or even top, a bonafide masterpiece, Metallica managed to pump out a highly respectable album.
Continuing down the grander and more progressive road they had been travelling since Ride the Lightning, they also incorporated much darker and more brooding lyrics and guitar tones. This is no more exemplified by the song which resulted in Metallica’s first music video, the number one music video on MTV when it was introduced, and their first American hit on the Billboard Top 100, “One”.
While a very good album, Justice falls flat in certain respects. Firstly, while there aren’t necessarily bad songs on this album, some of the songs like “The Shortest Straw” and “Frayed Ends of Sanity” are a tad on the weaker side. Also, there’s the whole bass thing...so for whatever reason, whether it be as a form of hazing, or because of feelings regarding Cliff,  Lars told the album’s mixer, Steve Thompson, to lower the volume on the bass, and despite questioning this, he was made to do it anyways...Okay...
Really? Are you serious? Just because you’re “hazing the new guy”, or you miss your friend, or are just the self absorbed putz even Metallica fans know you to be, it doesn’t give you the right to pull childish bullshit like purposefully messing with the mix of a widely released album. Now, the other hazing bullshit, I don’t care about that. Pulling a rib on the boys can be light hearted fun, but when personal shit like that bleeds into your work and you leave an album without bass lines to properly fill it out, you officially become a prick. Despite me standing by his side for Napster (I’ll explain that thing another time), this is just juvenile. Luckily, a fan mix called “And Justice for Jason” remedied that, and allowed people to hear what Justice would have sounded like if it were properly mixed. Hell, despite Lars being a primadonna and taking certain things a bit too personally, Newstead has always remained fairly chill about the situation.
Overall, despite the bullshit with the bass mixing and some weak cuts, ...And Justice for All is a solid follow up to the towering classic that is Master of Puppets, and is definitely worthy of your collection. Recommended.

Metallica (The Black Album)
With Newsted established as the band’s new bassist, and with song ideas brewing during their tour for Justice, Metallica hopped back into the studio with brand new producer Bob Rock, and popped out the highest selling record the band would ever produce, the self titled album commonly referred to as The Black Album. Lauded by many music publications, with 4s and 5s being thrown at it like Shibata throws out stiff kicks, everyone seemed to love it. However, does it truly live up to that acclaim? My answer: not quite.
Do not get me wrong, this is one of Metallica’s first five albums, so it’s a great fucking record. Pounding, groove laden metal riffs coupled with more melodic songwriting, it was a clear departure from the progressive, grandiose thrash metal of their previous 3 records, yet it still retained Metallica’s style and seminal songwriting. There are some superb cuts, with headbanging anthems like “Sad but True” and the smash hit “Enter Sandman” as well as my personal favourite hidden gem “Holier than Thou”, but there are some weaker, dare I say filler level cuts such as “Through the Never”.  Yeah, call me when your case of the word vomit ends guys. But overall, this is a stellar record and it is a very important benchmark for Metallica, as well as 90s metal. Moving on!
8 out of 10
Load
Short haircuts? Check. New sound and experimentation with genres that alienates even the most steadfast of fan? Check. Trying even fucking harder this time for mainstream attention? Check. Yup, Metallica’s gone full fucking 90s on us. Load is for sure a weaker album than the Black Album, and it is full of hard rock snoozers like “Bleeding Me” and “Poor Twisted Me”, but when this album turns it up and actually goes, good god does it go. Hard rocking headbangers like “Ain’t My Bitch” and “Wasting my Hate” as well as more melodic, downpaced rock such as my personal favourite track “The House That Jack Built”, While the music may have mellowed out, Kirk and James’s guitar playing has not and they rip out some killer riffs on this record. Hell, even the really far out there experiments work very well, such as the pop-y sounding “Hero of the Day” and one of the best fucking modern, mainstream country songs ever “Mama Said”. Like, that is a sad statement on the genre when fucking Metallica outdoes the sorry excuses for country acts that were starting to permeate the genre in the 90s, and we are talking dick cheese such as Billy Ray Cyrus, Kenny Chesney, and all that shit.
Metallica’s “Load” is not for everyone, but if you look past and ignore all the 1st degree filler that is on this record, there are some superb cuts that rank among Metallica’s best work in my opinion.
6.5 out of 10
Reload
Metallica went into the studio to record Load and actually had enough material to fill a double album. Metallica decided to delay the release of a majority of this material in order to perfect it, and the result of this was 1997’s “Reload”. Continuing down the more commercial hard rock path they had started travelling, Reload offers, in my opinion, a more consistent and sonically pleasing offering than its predecessor. With alot of the grader experimentation from Load being scrapped, Metallica decided to unleash some pure fucking rock and roll, with James and Kirk throwing down headbanging riffs and Lars producing some memorable drum beats. With powerful hard rock beatdowns like “Fuel” and “Attitude”, as well as slower, more melodic and groove laden songs like “Devil’s Dance”, “Unforgiven 2” and “Where the Wild Things Are”. While this album is better than Load, it does have its share of filler like “Bad Seed” and “Slither”. My personal favourite song though has to be the somber ballad “Low Man’s Lyric”. While Reload is certainly not a return to form for the band, it is a more consistent and better offering than Load and certainly worth a listen.
Metallica wouldn’t release a proper studio album for another six years, releasing other offerings in the meantime, such as the cover album Garage Inc., as well as S&M, a live show Metallica did with a full symphony orchestra.  This period would also prove to be one of the most tumultuous times in the band’s career, which is expertly shown in the documentary “Some Kind of Monster”. During this harrowing period, bassist Jason Newsted left the band, citing creative and personal differences, including Jason’s want to do other projects. There was also...Napster...welp, we had to do it. Let’s talk about Napster
Okay, so basic rundown of the issue. Metallica records a song entitled “I, Disappear” for the soundtrack of Mission Impossible 2. However, a demo of the song was leaked, and ended up getting radio airplay. The band was able to trace this leak back to a file found on Napster, which led them to also find out that all their shit was on Napster. Lars then filed a lawsuit, and after a whole giant legal battle involving Metallica and a ton of other artists, Napster was forced to file Bankruptcy and was shut down for good. People...did not like this. With people staging mass destructions of Metallica CDs, and many media outlets just roasting the fuck out of the band. It was not a pleasant time for the boys. Here’s the thing though. Amidst all the media hoopla and everyone jumping on the “fuck Metallica” bandwagon...the band was in the right. Firstly, Music is a business like any other, and while these artists do for the most part love what they do, they are in this to make a living out of it, i.e. MAKE MONEY. Piracy of music, while admittedly not a big blow to the artists, is still a blow to their profits. Could you blame someone for trying to take down something that was giving away their product for free without their permission? Secondly, a fucking DEMO was leaked. Meaning the song was in the rough stages of its production. It was like that unfinished version of X-Men Origins, or that trailer of The Mummy without all the sound effects. It doesn’t look good on the band, so you should obviously shut that down and shut it down fast. In summary, Metallica did nothing wrong and took down a program full of stolen shit, and people had a hissy fit about it because “muh free music!” Fuck those morons for not understanding how business works.
After the turbulent tides of this period had begun to subside, with James getting clean after a year of rehab, a new bassist being found in Rob Trujillo, and being honored on MTV Icons, Metallica would drop their next studio album and it would prove to be a return to form...sort of...not really.
7 out of 10
St. Anger
This album is one of the most reviled things in music history. Every fan, every critic pretty much hate this record and think it’s an abomination. But, and you’re probably gonna stop reading for this (you probably stopped after the Napster thing), I don’t think it deserves the shit it gets. Don’t get me wrong, 2003’s “St. Anger” is a flawed record for sure. From the odd production, guitar tones, drum sounds, and some of the most tedious songwriting Metallica has ever engaged in, this album is far from a masterpiece. But, that does not mean this is not devoid of highlights. Despite its repetitious nature, there are some gems on this record, and some great riffage from James and Kirk, plus Lars puts on an incredibly underrated drum performance. My personal favourite song has to be the badassery of a diddy known as “Shoot me Again”. This is not a great record, do not get me wrong. It’s arguably the weakest thing Metallica has ever done. but if you give it a chance, there are some solid gems on this record. With Metallica reformed, they would hold off another 5 years on a new record, but we did not expect the course correction that came.
6 out of 10
Death Magnetic
Welcome back, Metallica! With the band parting ways from Elektra records, Metallica was in need of a record label for their new album. Enter the legend known as Rick Rubin. Signing with Warner Brothers and hiring on Rubin as a producer (I use that term liberally by the way because Rubin doesn’t do much producing these days and leaves it up to his underlings), Metallica popped out the staggering comeback known as Death Magnetic. Released in 2008, this album proved to be Metallica’s best record since the Black Album, nixing the repetitive nature of St. Anger and returning to the more grandiose, progressive and technical thrash metal style that made them the legends they are. The guitar work on this album is superb, with James and Kirk laying down some excellent riffs and incredible guitar harmonies. This also proved to be a return to form for Lars Ulrich, laying down some of the most precise drum work he has ever done. My personal favourite song would have to be the insanely heavy instrumental, something that Metallica hasn’t done since Justice, the song known as “Suicide and Redemption”, which like “Call of Chuthlu” and “Orion” before it, served to show off the technical side of their bass player, and Rob Trujillo lays down some killer bass licks in this song.
While this is arguably their best songwriting in many years, the production leaves a little to be desired, and that’s putting it nicely. The major culprit in all of this? Those fucking guitar tones. Like, what the fuck did you do? It sounds like a two chainsaws grinding against each other, and it splits your fucking ears. Like, listen to that album with good headphones and at a fairly high volume, it’s painful. But, see, here’s the thing. Slayer (A band we will be talking about in the near future), also had Rubin and his crew as producers for World Painted Blood, and it worked for Slayer because that suits their sound. This does not suit Metallica, and it fucking kills an otherwise excellent record. Despite the pitfalls in the production, Metallica’s “Death Magnetic” is a fantastic return to form, and will kick your ass. Buy this record.
With Metallica back on the rise, what new projects would await them? *Listens to Lulu*...DONE!
7.5 out of 10
Lulu
This album...is SHIIIIT. 2011’s collaboration with, of all fucking people, Lou Reed entitled “Lulu” is a failed experiment. Combining the styles of two artists, namely, the experimental, 60s and 70s rock music of someone like Lou Reed and the thrash metal headbanging of Metallica, they did not fit together at all. And listen here folks, collaborations between odd pairings of artists can work. Korn’s team up with various dubstep artists on The Path to Totality album generally was a solid effort by that band; David Bowie, being the musical chameleon he is, fit like a glove when Nine Inch Nails and him worked on remixing “I’m Afraid of Americans”; when Weezer and Lil Wayne teamed up to do “Can’t Stop Partying”...ok, point taken. But still, odd pairings in music can work. But this just didn’t. From the sloppy songwriting put forward by Metallica, to Lou Reed’s rambling street preacher vocal style which only works on certain songs, this album sounds like Lou Reed decided to just rant over a bunch of b-sides Metallica had left over and had no idea what to do with. I suppose if I had to pick a highlight from this album, it would have to be the 2nd last song “Dragon”, a heavy offering that actually manages to marry the styles of these bands quite effectively. But overall, just avoid this record, outside of hearing a couple songs. It’s not for Lou Reed fans, it’s not for Metallica fans, i’ts for no one. Say it with me homeboys, MOVING ON!
3 out of 10
Hardwired to Self Destruct
With the dogshit that is Lulu behind them, Metallica embarked on a few years of touring, playing pretty much nothing but old shit, playing for the first time with the big four, as well as doing fan requested setlists, it was time to head back into the studio and make some kick ass music. The result of this was last year’s Hardwired to Self Destruct. This album is both stronger and weaker than Death Magnetic. It is stronger in that it is much more tightly produced, with those chainsaw guitars being replaced with a more crisp sounding tone more in line with their previous output. With the band getting up there in age, they however show no signs of slowing down, with James’ voice not showing an instance of faltering since blowing it out all those years ago. Further, the guitar work on this album is superb, and Lars lays down some tight and precise drumming. However, this album isn’t the tightest in terms of songwriting, and begins to falter around the end of disc one and by disc two they let out some grade A filler like “Man-Unkind”. Yeah, this song sounds like they’re trying to hearken back to the days of Load with this one, and those days are gone and should stay gone. But this album is not devoid of highlights, with my personal favourite track being the cybernetic dystopian fury of the closing song “Spit Out The Bone”. Hell, the first disc on this album fucking slays, with tracks like “Moth Into Flame” and the grandiose, almost Maiden-esque “Atlas Rise.” Overall, a solid album full of really heavy songs, but the band’s age is showing, and the idea well is starting to run dry. It might be time to hang it up. But we’ll see.

You swear you hear singing whenever you enter the music hall. The void of empty velour seats seem to grow more obsolete the longer you stare, the large glass chandelier appearing to snap off of its chain every single moment, all of the inanimate objects in the room singing a story of its own. But this time, you hear actual singing coming from the stage when you set your bag on a spare table backstage.
A rich tenor melody dances its way into your ears as you peek out behind the heavy curtain to see a dark haired man belting his heart out with a perfect balance of vibrato, volume, and voice.
You stand there in awe as he stops abruptly and turns around to gaze in your direction. Slow heel clicks resonate under your feet as you slowly step out from behind the black drape to see him looking at you curiously.
“Hello there.” He greets with a warming grin as you look somewhat shyly towards him.
“Hi.” You manage to say before a wave of embarrassment washes over you and you let out a nervous giggle.
“How long have you been standing there?” The man asks in a distinct French accent and you cross your arms across your chest as you try to look at him directly without a hint of timidness in your eyes.
“Long enough to hear you sing.” You reply as you brush a stray lock of hair away from your face. “You’re wonderful.”
“So I’ve been told.” He laughs and you smile at him. “When I was thirteen, they called me L’ange de la Musique because of my voice. I didn't realize how much that would mean to me later on.”
“We never do. At least until it's too late.” You nod and he smiles at you.
“I'm Arno.” He tells you and extends his hand.
“Y/N.” You reply and take his hand gently.
“So Y/N, what brings you to the Palais Garnier?” Arno inquires. “I don't believe you came here only to hear me sing.”
“My mother was the primadonna for the Paris Opera many years ago and she was teaching me before she passed five months ago. I remember when she would bring me backstage and all of the performers were in their costumes, ready to give everything for the show. That was the moment I realized I wanted to be an opera singer. ” You pause as you try not to let your eyes shed any more tears before you continue.
“When I told her I wanted to follow in her footsteps and at least achieve the position of understudy for the lead of one of the opera’s upcoming productions, she was so happy and even promised to be there on opening night before she died. I suppose I came here to see if to show me that singing was worth my time and devotion.” You finish and for a moment, you think Arno’s giving you a pitying look, the ones you’ve seen before one too many times, but instead, he’s giving you a different look. One you can’t pin quite accurately just yet.
Arno nods understandingly as he paces in between the distance from you to the stack of sheet music he had placed down earlier before you see his dark eyes light up with what you believed to be an idea.
“Perhaps I can be your new teacher. That is of course if you want one at all.” He offers and you turn your head to stare at him so fast that you feel like you could've snapped your own neck.
“R-really?” You stammer as you gape at him.
“Oui, ma chérie. It would be my pleasure.” Arno replied and you engulf him in a hug which clearly shocks him, but you as well. You immediately let go of him and laugh slightly to try and shrug off any embarrassment you were currently experiencing.
“Thank you.” You reply and he picks up his music again.
“Meet me here tomorrow at noon. We’ll get started then.” Arno informs and takes his leave as you continue to stand there with a giddy smile on your face and hope in your heart.
‘The people weren’t wrong,’ you thought as you walked backstage. He truly was an angel of music.
