you heard the front door open as the silhouette of your beloved entered the house. it was obvious the job he was assigned today was quick and he didn’t get his ass kicked that much, but you could still see the small cut across his eyebrow and cheek, and his bloody knuckles.

what surprised you, however, was what he held in his hands — a small bouquet of your favorite flowers.

“hi, sweetheart,” he stood in front of you with a sheepish smile, handing the flowers to you.

“oh, john,” you giggled, looking up at him with your adoring eyes and processing the ridiculous scenery in front of you: a six feet tall strong assassin who took lives of minimum five people an hour ago, giving you the cutest bouquet. “you didn’t have to…”

“of course i had. look at how happy it got you,” he gave you a forehead kiss before enveloping you into his embrace. <3

In my art school au kirishima works with metal and you’ve never met him before but one day denki asks you to go by his studio for him to give him back his notes and when u do kiri is huge and tall with bulging muscles and big hands and he’s got a welding helmet on that makes him look sort of scary but when he takes it off and gives you that boyish grin you feel suddenly weak in the knees
