🏅 What is the fic you’re most proud of?

I have two: Give and Take, and Nothing Beats The Real Thing for two different reasons

Give and Take — I really worked on world building and descriptions because I used to omit a lot of physical descriptions of characters out of fear or waffling on too much and having it sound cliche but I think I did it really well in that fic. Also the re-readability of that fic is insane, I often find myself re-reading it as well, and every time I find something new to love about it. Like from the first line I can imagine the world I created and it’s just something I’m super proud of doing. It shows my writing has come quite a long way since my ‘Say You Love Me’ era.

Nothing Beats The Real Thing — that was my first time doing anything with poetry and science. So I was a bit scared that it was going to come out very bleh for the readers because of all the technical terms but it ended up flowing really well and there’s a paragraph in that fic that’s my favourite thing I’ve ever written.

“Would it be wrong of him to admit that in that moment, he’d fallen in love with you all over again? It could’ve been the warmth of your pussy, the way it moulded around him so perfectly. It could’ve been how even the sweetest of poetry was recast as a sensual sonnet, each syllable flooding his veins like a drug from the syringe that was your lips against his skin. I would say that (to me!) your fics show that you value dialogue and the build up of relationships (in a writing sense). How that can apply to life is that you have a hard time not expressing yourself to other people when you feel strong emotions. I could be very wrong but that’s the vibe I get.
