Cover piece for ILLUSTRATION DIARY VOL. 2 (my second Ohuhu A4 hardcover marker sketchbook!). Awakened on 27 NOVEMBER 2021.

This was sketched and partially rendered two years ago, but it was only recently that I was able to finish it. I had to keep faithful to how I rendered at the time to preserve the "documentation", as it were, to how things were at the time period I did this. That is why Kidde is there instead of Starscream, as this was before the concept of Husbands were fully realized ... but I knew that Wayne Hylics and Elder-kun were beyond just simple husbando crushes at that point! ♥ And that I had a special bond with Kidde.

These two are more than capable of being the most powerful duo on the server, but it’s as if their brain cells don’t want to share the same space, so they end up with none when together. Best kind of dynamic. Keep it up, guys!

Pearl Artair - The charismatic and elegant owner of a nightclub in the Violet district called “The Visionary.”

Finnegan “Mercury” MacEirie - A prostitute working at the Visionary, on the run from his past.

Inez Coronel - A singer at the Visionary, as well as a collector and broker of secrets and important information.

Vera Romeo - The bartender of the Visionary, who has new romantic troubles every day without fail.

Vaughn Grandis - The owner of a rival club and an influential figure in the Violet District’s underground.

THE IDOLIZED

Kerry Faulcon - The captain of the Rhettshore Redhawks, a cordball team known all across Guardian City.

Gage Bandy - Another member of the Redhawks, calm and reasonable but a bit condescending.

Lauren Bandy - A player on the Redhawks, who fans think may drop out of the league after this season.

Emerson Wheeler - A Redhawks player widely appreciated for his looks and charm rather than his skill.

Belle Eriksson - A skilled Redhawks player who is believed to be competing with Kerry for the title of Captain.

THE DAMNED

Antony Valdovinos - The mastermind behind the Damned, leader of a deep-rooted criminal organization.

Simon Demaret - Antony’s second-in-command and personal assassin with a secretive background.

Natalia Barrueco - A down to earth but extremely irritable member of the Damned, Antony’s cousin.

Kian Kinnerk - An entertaining young man and member of the Damned, who brings his violin everywhere he goes.

Vivi Seacoal - An extremely intimidating older woman, the muscle of Antony’s inner circle.

Lazarus Cain - Friend and rival, a mysterious young assassin who is always present yet rarely seen.

I’ll try to update this whenever I need to, since new paras and storylines pop up every now and then! These are also just the “major” paras - there are a few side characters who just aren’t mentioned at all bc. this ain’t abt them

Feeling bits and pieces of Lana & Rena's story fall into place these past weeks/months since I've started to re-think about them is so satisfying.... I really wanna find something better than the first/old version of their dynamic ! (I don't blame young me, I didn't know any better back then haha) There's still a lot of weird spots and events & changes to figure out (especially their order of arrival) but it's so so fun thinking about them again aaaaa, I missed my messy girls so much

I was looking through ILLUSTRATION DIARY VOL. 1 and found several scrapped/unfinished works that I'd thought I'd share with you all! Only a few touch-ups were made since well .... they're all scrapped pictures I will never finish. Apologies for all the HYLICS art to my non-HYLICS followers ww

Here are some quick descriptions for context.

1ST: Wayne on a throne as a masterful declaration of my love for him. This was before The Four Husbands were fully realized. 2021. 2ND: Tower tarot card for a scrapped Hylics tarot project I was a part of. 2021. 3RD: Wayne protecting Kidde and Baybei. 2022. 4TH: Wayne floating about under a wisteria tree. Is he wounded? Or just there because there is nothing better to do? Y'know. Just Wayne Hylics things. 2022. 5TH: Random vacation hype art. This was around the time I was visiting my older sibling in August but never got around to finishing this, despite the completed linework. Don't ask why Dimentio is sitting on Little Sora's luggage specifically. 2022. 6TH: Wayne Hylics x me as one of the HYLICTOBER prompts. Procrastinated too much to finish despite completed inks. 2021.
