Nami in terms of love and relationships in general is really interesting, because she's really complicated when it comes to romance in general. Here's some headcanons:

Loves love and the concept of romance, but as a whole and not necessarily for herself. She loves seeing other people happy in relationships but doesn't actually feel a need to have that for herself.

Doesn't really need labels, but likes to know where her and her partner stand with each other.

Needs to be needed, but absolutely not in the I-need-you-around-all-the-time kind of way.

She loves snuggles and cuddles and nap time together, but she also needs space to be her own person.

Doesn't need her partners money, she just wants it. Nami will always need to make her own money and her own way as a sense of security.

Wants commitment but is actually terrified of it and would do best with someone she's friends with first for this reason.

Requires a partner that in no matter what universe she's in understands that her dream will always come first.

Despite all of the above if she's feeling it, she's going to go for it because she relies strongly on her own intuition and what another person is putting out.

It's really hard for her to talk about her feelings out loud and is a lot better with showing them. Will shower her partner with all kinds of affection, presents, gifts, food, etc always so they know they are wanted and loved.

Despite being good at cleaning, cooking and would make a great wife she will 100% refuse to be a stay-at-home-trophy-wife. She needs to be a bosswife.

Would actually do surprisingly well in a long distance relationship, she wouldn't feel suffocated and could be her own person.

If Nami is in a place where she feels secure to be her own person, make her own money, follow her own dream and the security of knowing that no matter what her partner loves her to the ends of the earth as she would love them back she would be happy.
