Feedback:

I’m torn between giving this book 3 stars or 5 stars so I settled on 4, even though that doesn’t feel right. Three because I would have loved more depth to it, 5 because as a romantic comedy with knotting it did damn good.

Authors - they’re just like us! This is my first Ali Hazelwood book and I’m just gonna say, about to buy her others. Her wit and charm and dialogue is awesome.

I found all of the history between the three races to be wonderfully rich. I would definitely love to read about the couple at the end. What I think I loved most was how if Ali had written a book just on Misery or Selena or Owen or any of them, it would have been wonderful.

Just got done watching 80 for Brady. I thought it was extremly entertaining and cute. So here my highlights...

Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin characters are bff in the movie just like the two women are in real life

The way Jane Fonda characters sleeps spooning to Lily Tomlin's character. Only like they been sleeping like that for years. I'm calling their characters are pretty much in a relationship.

Love the fact Jane Fonda's character writers exotic fanfiction and has a book of her fanfiction published. Made my own fanfiction author heart so happy.

That the 4 friends taught themselves the rules and everything so they could watch and enjoy football.

Sally Field character finally just lays it all out to her husband

Jane Fonda characters many wigs

That they manged to make the Superbowl less boring than it really is

That Lily Tomlin comedy still in point no matter how old she gets.

Jane Fonda has spoken at length on the importance of female friendships and I think this movie embodies this more then anything else.

I also loved seeing Billy Porter showing up!

2) DIY Tomorrowland badge (⭐️⭐️⭐️): show your city pride by making your own pin. this source uses a papercutter, but with some steady hands or a template you could do it by hand. for a more long lasting version, you can also try making it out of aluminum, wood, or shrink plastic. [X] 

3) Rocket ship shelf (⭐️⭐️⭐️-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️): it involves some woodwork, but this awesome shelf looks super cool AND is helpful! you can also make smaller versions out of plywood, foamboard, or cardboard. [X]

4) Planet Candles (⭐️⭐️): replicate our own solar system or any other that you visit with these neat candles that arent just great for decor, but can be really soothing, too! [X]

5) Sci-fi Goggles (⭐️⭐️): believe it or not, these sweet goggles are made with just a few simple pieces, most from the dollar store! i just think theyre neat /ref. if youre lookin for somethin a bit harder, check out this briefcase teleporter! [X]

Compelled to Finish? Yes, kinda. It wasn’t gripping in the sense I couldn’t put it down.

Feedback:

GREAT story! I’d had Covid in Feb which really put me out of the count reading-wise, and I’d found it hard to pick a book back up, for whatever reason. Saw this advertised, read it on KU and was genuinely surprised at its depth, writing, character development, and plot.

For a romance novel, which this story firmly is, I enjoyed the main characters, but also the supporting cast. Never have I felt compelled to read the other stories in a series about the other people from a romance novel. BUT she’s written them so I started on the next one.

Overall, loved it. Maybe it should be a 5, but meh. I’m settling for a 4.
