“I’m home...” your tired voice echoes through the silent house, and you can hear a faint bustling from the bedroom. Placing your bags down at the door you let out a heavy breath.

Your heart ached and all you wanted was to be held by your loving boyfriend.

“How was work today, babe?” Kuroo peeks his head around the corner, moving forward to pick up your bags. He immediately notices your slouched posture and heavy-lidded eyes, swiftly hanging your bags and pulling you to his chest. 

“Hey, hey... did something happen today?” You shake your head at his comment, but he continues to look at you with concern. 

“No, I'm just really tired for some reason, that’s all.” He doesn’t hesitate to tug on your arm, guiding you gently towards the bedroom.

“Well lucky for you, I went out to the store today and bought some epsom salts since I know you like them so much. They're in your favorite scent too. I thought we could use them eventually, but it seems that time is sooner than later.” The smallest of smiles appears on your face, and you nod. 

“I would really like that. Thank you.” 

“No worries, my love. I’ll get that started, and can you get changed? It won’t take long.” He rushes off, and you can hear the bathtub running a few seconds later. Slowly getting out of your work clothes, you wrap a soft towel around your body, sitting on the edge of the bed and waiting. Kuroo comes out only moments after you’re ready, and he ushers you into the bathroom.

The light scent in the bathroom immediately begins to calm you and Kuroo respectfully takes your towel, helping you into the tub. He tries not to let his eyes linger for too long on your form, reminding himself that’s it’s your day to rest. Sinking into the warm water, you let a sigh escape your lips at the feeling, your skin tingling and muscles relaxing. 

“Is that warm enough for you?” 

“Mhm. It’s perfect.” You close your eyes, resting your head on the back of the tub.

“Okay, I'm gonna go now and give you some time to yourself, but-” you interrupt him, reaching out to try and stop him from leaving.

“No, please stay.” You can see the happiness in his eyes and the smile pushing its way onto his lips when you ask him, and he pulls out a stool and plops down next to you, leaning his arms on the side of the tub. You shut your eyes again, simply enjoying his company, and he stays silent, resting his head on his arms, quietly watching you.

“You’re so beautiful, you know that, y/n?” He whispers, and you can’t help the blush that appears on your cheeks. You open one of your eyes to look at him, and you catch the sweet smile on his face. You flick a little bit of water in his direction, and he laughs. 

“Awe come on!” He leans over and kisses your forehead before sprinting out of the bathroom as you fling more water his way. You can hear him laughing from behind the door, and you sink down into the warm water, trying to force down the smile tugging at your lips. 

After getting out of the bath, Kuroo has your comfy clothes laid out on the bed, and you can hear him moving around in the kitchen. Coming back into the room, he’s holding two mugs of hot tea.

“Here, babe.” He puts the mugs down before taking off his hoodie and handing it to you. He knows how much you like wearing his clothes, and your heart warms at the gesture. As soon as you pull on the sweater that smells like home, Kuroo showers your face with kissess, pulling you towards the nicely made bed.

“You worked so hard today, love. Let’s just relax for a bit. I made some of your favourite tea and we can watch some tv if you want too.” 

“Thank you, Kuroo. I really appreciate everything.” You kiss him softly on the lips, and you can feel the happiness radiating off of him. 

He sits on the bed and pats his lap, encouraging you to join him. You don’t hesitate for a second, crawling onto the bed and resting in his lap. Because you’re a little taller than him, you stretch out your legs and rest the back of your head against his chest. After he pulls a blanket over the two of you, he hands you your cup of tea, kissing the top of your head. 

“Do you want to watch anything in particular?”

“No, anything is alright. I’m just happy to be with you.” You shut your eyes, resting against his chest and listening to the steady beating of his heart. 

“I love you y/n. So much. I’m so lucky to have you with me.”

“I love you too, Kuroo. Thank you for staying with me.”

hi! the way you write about ghost is really my favorite ᐧ༚̮ᐧ for me it feels really realistic and human knowing his backstory and the mini-series you have about him and his family is absolutely one of my favorite things rn!

i would really like to know how do you think ghost would react to the reader being pregnant like do you think i could be a fluff reaction like him being happy about it or more like a angst reaction? i would love if you could write something about that!
