I made Hungarian cabbage rolls and cabbage roll soup (an improvised recipe) for my mom’s birthday. It took me 4.5 hours and I ate so much of it trying to get the right flavour I feel a bit sick. But my mom was so happy she cried, so… I’m feeling pretty great about it. XD

Fun brain stuff! Curious if anyone else works like this too

The way my brain works when taking information (especially audio) is it waits till the whole chunk is done (statement, question, instructions, etc) and then goes back through a second time to assertain how much and which bits are relevent. This usually means that if you want me to grab something for you in the other room, the most effective method is to paint me a mental picture of getting to the area, and THEN tell me about the item. That way when I scan back through the mental block-of-text, I will get the information in the order in which it's relevent, rather than having to add a step of reorganizing the info before I can use it
