I have gotten several anons asking when will I update “his handmaid’s tales” or “last of her house no more”. It warmed my heart to hear that some still wish to read my silly fanfics, and I immediately began working on this dragonstone wedding scene between Aemond and his princess in LOHHNM (that would ofc then lead to smut, now that I have somewhat confidence in writing it :)) )

I was 2k words into this chapter when I received a message from someone in my inbox. Now, I do not know who this person might be, as they sent it anonymously.

But it was long, basically listing their growing frustrations with me; they had said that it was such a pity LOHHNM and His Handmaid’s Tales were my creations, and not someone else’s, because they could trust that other fanfic writer to update. In their words, “They could do what I clearly couldn’t.” I have also become one of their least favorite writers in the fandom, and they were severely disappointed in my lack of enthusiasm and presence. They finished by saying that they will be unfollowing and blocking me.

If this had happened a few weeks ago, I would’ve felt bad, and I would’ve apologized.

But I will not. Not this time.

I am human. I’m not a damn fanfiction-generating machine that can write and publish fanfic updates on a weekly schedule. I have a life outside of Tumblr, and sometimes (mostly during these most recent times) that keeps me incredibly busy.

My life — including my mental and physical health, family, friends, academics — comes first.

So I write when I can, and I write when I feel like it.

Telling me you wished that all my major fanfic series were the work of another writer because you have “more faith in them” will not actually inspire/motivate me to write more. All it does is make me sit at my laptop and think, “Well shit. What the hell am I doing then?”

So now I need two to five business days to settle all my shit lmao and go back to that word doc.

But I do want to end this on a rather positive note, so to all my beloved followers that continue to support me and my writing, I absolutely adore you. I cannot thank you enough, from the bottom of both my heart and soul, for sticking around and providing me with love and support and inspiration.

The musician wears his aloofness like a mantle of cool silk, a man whose veins run blue with ice.

But not when he kisses you. 

It is then that the truth of his nature is revealed. Those snow-capped mountains are actually molten volcanos, those distant Northern lights actually comets burning fervently across the sky, and those icebergs are full of frostfire. Just one touch leaves you aflame and begging for more.

His reserved demeanor melts the moment his lips touch yours. You are almost overwhelmed by the force of his desire as he claims your mouth with his, marking his territory with small, possessive bites as he devours everything within reach of his teeth and tongue.

You're an absolute doll I love you for this. I can't believe anyone would like a character I CREATED this much!!! It's one thing to have people enjoy your fanfiction, but another to enjoy a original character. That's just a really special feeling.

Okay as far as a description for Nick, I genuinely think he looks pretty spot on for Mads Mikkelsen.

He's 6'2'' so he's quite tall. But he rounds his shoulders a lot and always looks a little tired. So it's not necessarily so much an intimidating height; like sure he's big, but he also looks so worn down. Kinda makes you wanna hug him--but his face is also constantly flat and nearly expressionless so that probably radiates "don't hug me".

Also Nick was tortured (a lot) so his torso has burn marks, as well as cuts along his side, thigh and upper rib cage area. He's missing the last two fingernails on his left hand (because they were removed, nasty business). But he takes care of himself, so he's also got a fair bit of muscle tone. He's not Built, but he's very strong, so he has nice biceps and muscular thighs. He has no piercings or tattoos (and does not like them).

Not to make him sound even MORE alluring, but he definitely has a great smell to him. He's a very clean guy and probably uses an expensive cologne. He smokes, so there's the underlying nicotine scent to him, but if you're into it, then it's probably even more alluring.

Also some fun Nick facts

He is 55 !!! He's old!!! Don't be too thirsty, his knees and lower back hurt all the time.

He's French but he can, if needed, completely erase his accent and fake American very well. He's a chameleon like that. But when he's comfortable, his accent is thicker, and he'll pepper in French here and there. Also BIG on French pet names.

Incredibly materialistic and has a BIG KINK for buying women Things. Lingerie sets, heels, clothes (nsfw things too). He's so into women in heels it's like calm down!! I'm batting him with a broom!!

Does not like movies. Literally cannot sit through them. Finds acting cringe. Cannot help but pick out inaccuracies every time he sees them. Groans like an old, tired man whenever someone makes him watch one. Will fall asleep.

This man has killed people and will definitely kill people again. Murderous little bastard.

Okay I could keep going but this is so long already my God.

I have to go with the last scene where we finally get to see Two Face. The make up is amazing, and Misha's acting is just perfect

I need like 5 more seasons of this show so I can see more of Two Face, because HOLY SHIT, it was amazing

I loved the sets and the costumes designs. You can see they put a lot of effort on every detail

I'd have made Turner a bit more interesting in the first half of the season, he was a bit bland from episodes 2-8. Also, a thing I would change, THE COLORING AND LIGHTING. I know they're doing it for the vibe, but it makes making gifs a nightmare

Perhaps the part that I found less interesting was Turner's kidnapping, but perhaps it'd have been interesting in s2. As for the rest of stories, I think they were amazing, and I'd have loved to see more of these characters and their stories

So yes! My question: does anyone here like writing spite fic or reading it?

To be candid (and go first) I only halfway write spite fics but they’re mostly telling canon to take a long walk off a short pier, though occasionally that translates into vilifying characters or situations—in my particular case I always want to try and redeem them, though. On the reading side, especially in HP, GoT (to a lesser extent), Star Wars, and MCU (as a direct result of everything Original Six after CACW because fuuuuuck youuuuu Russos/Disney, that’s why—I mean where the fuck has Kennedy been relegated to the last half decade? Feels like she had no input in the creation of things and then it became a dudebro project but ugh… that’s for another whine-fest, and I could just not be aware of certain facts).

And one of my own Stucky to Stuckony fics 100% started as a spite fic, somewhat towards you know who, but mostly “y’all did such a shitty job you idiots, let me write sometime and subtly insult you with every other paragraph.” One of my Star Wars fics was definitely half-written because fans told me I was disgusting and then i went BOOM and proved the puritanical entourage wrong simply by dint of popularity and success. 😉

In any case, I definitely spite read/write.

[Part 1] Sorry I was late on this, but I gotta say that your new Batarou arts are BEAUTIFUL AAA I LOVE BOTH VERSIONS SO MUCH!! 😳😍👌💕💖 Really love the closeness between Garou and Badd in both drawings as they're pulling into eachother in a mutual hug until it's so close, the way they're gazing at eachother lovingly (dat lil heart 💓) aww.. That's very cute and soft! Badd looks really happy in here being so close with Garou, while Garou teasing Badd before the kiss 😚💋❤ Idk why but I like their pose in here, you've got excellent posing choice since it showed their intimacy as a sweet couple. [Part 2] Btw there's little details that I adore about both pictures: In 1st pic, both Garou and Badd are having the previous hairstyle, also Garou is being flirty like, "oh, so you wanna kiss me so bad?😏💕" after seeing Badd's happy smile, as if they're still in dating stage as loving boyfriends. In 2nd pic, I noticed not only Garou who has new hairstyle (more matured looking short-haired style) but Badd also has the current manga hairtstyle (the longer hair strands on the front), also Garou is more straightforward on wanting to kiss Badd like "Badd, let me kiss you right now ilysm mwaah~😘❤" once he saw Badd's adoring expression, as if they're already being a married couple as husbands. The details are subtle but very endearing! 👀😊💕

[Part 3] I'd say with you making 2 versions of the drawings showed how much Batarou's relationship is growing strong throughout time, from the beginning until the end they're still love eachother, no matter what happen.. They're such couple goal! 💖 It also showed Badd always be there for Garou even when he stopped being a hero hunter, and now that Garou tried to be a better person Badd still on his side giving the neverending unconditional love for Garou aww~ I'm also so glad to see manga!Badd with current hairstyle together with short-haired webcomic!Garou the FedexBoy in your own artstyle, very refreshing indeed I LOVE it 👏😍👌💯✨
