~ All Around Me Are Familiar Faces (and Unknown Names)

The "faces/names of students" question is answered fully here! But since I have the excuse, I will add an extra tidbit~

Cinder has a phone, but no magicam (or any social media) on it. So if there are popular influences in his school? Or even full blown celebrities? He does not know them or their names or their brands. Unless they were big enough to be in something like a movies he watched as a kid, or something. This can worsen the "I know face, but I do not know name" debacle. I think when he meets Vil, he has a particularly long moment of calibration. Since he's pretty sure he is looking at a slightly older version of a face from a 'mean girls' equivalent movie his sisters were watching obsessively a few years back.

~ Everybody Walk the Overblot:

TLDR: does Cinder feel guilty / responsible? Answer; Yes.(?) But it can Depend. The way I have the lore written right now; is that Cinder probably gets hired at some nebulous point between chapter 2 and chapter 3. So the only overblot he'd know about beforehand would be Riddle's, which Cinder wasn't there for, and would've considered an anomaly. Unlikely to repeat. I am sure the incident also got heavily downplayed by Crowley too. Meaning that the first TRUE overblot that Cinder himself witnesses is either Leona's or Azul's. As of right now, Cinder and Azul don't have a relationship. So there's no fleshed out guilt there. He just feels very empathetic for the overall turmoil caused. (And for the Prefect. Dear god. The poor prefect.) But Leona... is a little messier. So, ya know the whole Lucifer v Cinderella rivalry from the movie? Yep, I gave that to Leona and Cinder. Because I keep finding it funny to imagine. Cinder sweeping away Leona's tail while sarcastically trilling "excuse me, your maj-es-ty", Leona weaponizing his laziness to remain in Cinder's way as much as beast-humanly possible, Leona keeping on catching mice to toy with them (debut lion king scene style) and Cinder coming running to protect and snatch them away. The whole nine yards. And though their relationship together is not fond, it's still something. Cinder does see him every day, they interact very directly. So when Leona overblots, it does hit Cinder and take him aback. Right in the (slightly more buried down) disney princess bleeding-heart. Is guilt the word? Maybe. It's too tangled up to decipher. He probably discusses it with his step-dad, free therapy mini sessions. When things settle, there are maybe a few days where Cinder does not bother Leona. Doesn't snipe him about getting out of the way or call him anything. Trying to be respectful via distance. But. Tbh. I kind of feel like Leona would fucking resent that. 😭🤣 And would probably like it better when Cinder gets back to actually getting all snippy and sassy with him again. Cause that's their norm. Overall, it depends. Cinder also isn't a teacher, but he IS a peer. So the guilt is not so much a mature and solemn "i should have mentored better", it's more emotionally confused and teenage. Especially post chapter 3, when he starts making deeper connections.

So - Because of Cinder's job description, which takes him all over school each and every day, he ends up stumbling upon A Lot of hot goss'. Purely on accident most the time. Now: one of Cinder's bigger traits (flaws) is being secretive, often too secretive for his own good. The good news is - this means you can tell him things in confidence, and be very safely certain it won't go anywhere else! The bad news is - this also means there is a 80% chance he has been told secrets about/concerning you, that are being withheld and not admitted too. You know what they say about the nice, quiet ones! They are usually the ones with everyone's secrets. You want these secrets? Good luck to you, comrade. Cinder grew up alongside older stepsisters. Who were, as Trein much more affectionately puts it, "strong spirited". Dolly and Anna didn't raise no snitch. Cinder rolls with mice, not rats.

This is a general question for mostly you but how the narrators get their design? They're really pleasing to the eye and it works well with their personality! The outfits they were are very expressive and very well thought of so i am asking how did you make the character design so good?

Since this really isn’t a direct question to Narry, so I’ll save myself the labor and answer this personally!

I actually thought of Narry’s personality before I thought of his design. I actually have a small piece of paper around my room somewhere that has a list! A few things listed there are:

- touch sensitive

- prefers comfort because wearing a fancy suit while being a Narrator for eternity sounds like a pain.

- Soft guy

And etc!

So I simply made his design appealing to those traits and gave him gloves, a comfortable fleece, kinder shaped eyes and stuff. The whole light thing and character lore came later! :]

Even his two reading chains were thought of because I thought it would’ve been cute if he had been wearing them wrong because he originally thought he was wearing it right — not really thinking deep about it because he doesn’t actually need glasses. (Of course he knows now, but it stuck to us XD)

Fe, these questions are SO good, I had to think them over for a hot second.

I think I'm already in my dream profession (nursing), but my dream specialty would have to be labor & delivery! Or anything to do with women's health/reproductive healthy/fertility etc. I've always been really interested in birth & stuff, but didn't become truly passionate about it until I had my first job as an LVN in an ob/gyn clinic. It's also something I feel pretty knowledgeable on despite only knowing a small corner of it all. it's a job that I can learn and teach at the same time which is so cool because I love doing both!!

hmmm the first person I thought of was Freddie Mercury, but despite him being such a sweetheart, I would be WAY too intimidated to talk to him. I think if I were to get over that initial intimidation, I think it would be fun just to chat with him.

I unfortunately cannot remember any advice that I've been given, because I usually forget it after a while 🫣 and I'm also someone who struggles with believing what someone tells me especially if it's nice (idk how to explain it). but something I've learned in therapy and something that my therapist reminds me of a lot, is "it's scary, but I'm doing it anyways". basically, being able to power through a lot of the anticipatory anxiety I get and then not being so hard on myself when I tell myself that I didn't need to get that worked up about it & making myself feel bad about it.

Okay so heres how this works

In the Ninja Steel Rewrite the team attends college at the Wave Academy which is one of my other ninja schools within the PR ninja lore(and since the real season didn’t use this fact EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD A GOOD BACKGROUND FROM NINJA STOMR MENTIONING THIS smh)

Their elements are Fire, Water, Wood, Earth and Metal and Preston’s affinity is water, he really likes to invest in the background behind the powers(since they are a bit more metaphorical). Ever since childhood he’s been obsessed with myths and the idea of mysticism within the world, of course his dad has his own doubts but Preston doesn’t care.

He especially loves the dragon, he also likes historical stuff…many times with the ninja skill he wanted to convince Sarah to pull off a heist against any European museums that stole things but she just throws a book at him cause of the trouble they could get in. But that won’t stop him from going on a few missions to find any artifacts that were lost etc.

Oh and weapon wise for each of the ninjas they have the shuriken thing but here it has some additional forms and Preston himself makes a khakkhara staff/spear for both spells and combat. For lore reasons that are spoilers he is obsessed with dragons and all I can say is unlike the show I plan on giving him a lot of focus as the story goes on(magic boy deserves the season he should’ve had💙💙💙)

This might also be another case of blue rangers getting so,e crazy shit within my writing like idk why I’m like this 😭😭😭
