on the day he decided to propose he came to your house early in the morning so he could take you to a nice valley range

you guys just hang out at like 5 in the morning alone on top the pretty little hill he chose just talking about your life and some interesting things you saw recently

when suddenly (he was waiting for the perfect sunrise moment) he told you to follow him then close your eyes

he took you to a flower field nearby, knelt down and pulled out a pretty ring box (😭🥺) tells you to open your eyes!!

and it's just the cutest and nicest thing you've ever seen, and he tells you he loves you so much and he wants to spend eternity with you forever and ever 💗💗

this man goes all out!! and on your anniversary too!

on the day of your third anniversary, izuku is so excited and nervous because he really wanted to make a proposal special for you, his adorable little bean <;/3

he researched a LOT, and even finds out what knee to kneel on (left knee)

he dresses rather nice, debating for about thirty minutes with himself to dress more casually than a three piece suit, settling on wearing a beige sweater you gave him for his birthday.

he even asked his mom about tips, 💓 asking where some places would be nice to go to

he told you he wanted to meet at a shopping place for you to have some fun, then visit a park with pretty flowers

he takes you shopping for your anniversary gift for the day, and the whole time he holds your hand, thinking on how lucky he was to have you.

when it actually comes the time when you go to the park (the place he chose to propose) he's a little sweaty, nervous, and he fears you might just reject him

so when he suddenly, abruptly gets down on one knee (in his panic on his right knee), that wasn't his intention (he planned to do it in front of a pretty tree) but he's doing it

he's crying a little bit, and he starts off by saying that he loved you since he first talked to you in high school. he has a velvety ring box open, and he asks you "will you stay with me forever y/n?"

after you say yes, he's the happiest man in the world, crying, and he squeezes you in a tight hug 🥺💗💗 (in front of a park bench)

SHOTO

after about 3 years of dating, to propose, this guy makes a candlelight dinner for you two at your guys' house!!!!

fuyumi is so excited when she finds out because she LOVES you!!!

he asked his brother, natsuo if that was really cheesy or not, he said yeah, but he did it anyway.

he asked one of your friends secretly to take you out on the day he planned it all out, so it was a surprise for you

he made a meal you both liked, and he got fancy expensive candles and lit it with his fire a few minutes before you got home.

he even put some red rose petals around and on the table 💗💗

he makes sure to dress fancy, and for once even messes with his hair a little bit to make a nice style!

when your friend takes you home, you see the candlelight dinner, with the rose petals, and fancy wine and your soon to be fiancé in a nice suit 🥺💌

he walks you to the table and pulls your chair out for you (gentleman!!) and asks you how your day was with your friend.

you guys talk for a while, and after you both finish eating, he walks to your chair, kneels down, and pulls out an expensive looking ring box from his pocket.

in the soft candlelight, he says, "y/n, my love for you grows more and more every day, and I would be so lucky if you felt the same way. will you marry me?"

after you say yes, he fits the ring on you and decides to slow dance w you with some soft music in the back (🥺😭💗💗)

(hopefully i explained that well enough). with izuku!!! i love highlighting his big heart. how he’s always there for reader, and then his bashfulness and confidence. also his dimples🤗🤗 i must always give him dimples :)

My favorite headcannon for bakugo is that as a hero he becomes really good with kids, especially ones with anger issues because he understands them. Also that he doesn't stand for anyone talking ahit about his friends/fellow heroes. Sure, he can give them a hard time, but other people don't get to

Honestly I think my favorite is either Bakugo or Rody. I just love Bakugos anger and exasperation and no bullshit attitude, but I also get to project a lot onto Rody because of his siblings.

So, no one can deny I’m big on Found Family 😂 I just love the feeling of characters choosing each other, sticking together through it all. Time and time again going “I choose you. I want to be at your side.” That you and me feeling, y’know? Love it. Mwah. Chef kiss.

Another thing is inhuman characters. Or maybe “normal” characters should be more specific. Even in context I go to the WALL with what I’m given XD. I think the most normal I’ve gotten is Aloisa in Good Night New York, and she actually almost was a siren!! I had to stop myself to keep her a human being, in MARVEL. Shoot, look at my BNHA fics. All those Quirks, I still go with Witch or Ghoul or Fae.

Emotionally charged dialogue. I love me a good conversation between characters. Monologues too. 👀 Still proud over Blaze’s confession to Shalltear, even now haha. Oh! Descriptions too. I’m a sucker for just, digging in and trying to get all those details.

I mean, I’m good at interesting concepts? Like, all things considered, I love writing the non-walked path. I’m good at twisting things to try and work, or just not caring enough and having fun with it. Again, back to my jokes up there, who would go “Ok, Suspected Traitor Izuku but he’s taken by the Fae” and go for it? I did! I really did that!

I think I’m good at making characters too. I know people prefer Canon Blorbos to homemade, but I do believe I make some damn good Blorbos 😊 both in fandom stories and in original settings.

Oooo, I’m gonna name a few for some fandoms, since I’m constantly bouncing between them :’D

Overlord: Ainz, Shalltear, and Lupisregina! You’ve seen how I write Big Brother Ainz to Blaze, and aha ☺️ y’know my feelings on Shalltear. Lupisregina though is actually my fave out of the Battle Maids. I know it’s mostly an act, but she just seems so nice and the most ok with humans. She’s interesting!

Undertale: Sans and Papyrus. No matter the AU, I adore the skelebros. They’re so fun to write too!

My Hero Academia: Dabi and Tomura. I just. I got the hots for these two the most, even with that four-way crush I got going on(them, Hawks, and Overhaul). But what love bug I got bit by for these two is strong.

The Magnus Archives: Jon, Martin, Tim, and Sasha. The OG Archives crew 100% love them 😭

Sandman: Dream, Corinthian, Hob, and Death. Everyone in this show is Fucking Pretty but these four I just 💜💜💜💜💜 I am looking non-respectfully.

There’s plenty more fandoms, plenty more characters, but I got these darlings off the top of my head. Tbh, comfort character to me just means which characters I latch onto dearly. There can be tons in one fandom, or just one. I never truly decide, my heart does.

Right! So!

Nope, no beta reader here - I'm personally very stubborn about the way certain things Vibe, I don't really have the time, and I like to post immediately after I write. Plus I write straight into ao3 so sharing it with someone would be a pain, honestly.

I write straight into ao3!! I have been called cursed for this before, but apparently I'm defiant. Honestly it's mostly just for the formatting - and I only *sometimes* lose things so it's fine, right?

In all seriousness though, I do also use WordCounter to copy-past my OSs/chapters into for wcs on the go, and I update my Google Sheets spreadsheets multiple times a day :D

I absolutely listen to music whilst I write!! I also watch YouTube, admittedly (split screen is my life yall) but I listen to music a lot. More than a specific song, I'd say that the channel Valiant has an awful lot of the things in my main playlist. Oh, and for like six weeks straight last year, when I was binge-writing, I listened to Unlike Pluto's Technicolour Daydream album on repeat. For six weeks straight. I can't think of anything *but* writing if/when I listen to it now ^^;

An up and coming wip... Not sure if it counts, but I'm just beginning to really get into the Big War Arc for Kidilante, was literally writing up some of the next chapter before I came to reply to this, and I'm super excited!! There's going to be some plotting and angst and a bit of fluff too - oh, and some cliffhangers that may or may not turn out how people will hope :D

In case that *doesn't* count, I am planning to write a follow-up to my "macabre fic" as I labelled it, a prequel OS where we find out more about how Izu got his funky vaguely-demonic powers from, with some hints as to whether it's actually a Quirk or not ;)

A snippet... Let's see, I'll dig something cool up :D

Okay so I went with one for kidilante and one for macabre as I listed them both for the previous Q (and vague cw for some bloody imagery in both of these, just skip the next two paragraphs if you're worried!):

Kidilante:

He whips around, and his Dad is on the ground, crumpled, bloody, and no, no, this isn't right.

Izuku doesn't see red (he doesn't need to, when there is already so, so much fucking blood-) because he's busy moving, a blur of grey and white and black and red, knives in hand and capture weapon rising and his throat burning with panic or a scream or something because there are villains standing over his hero and they had smiles and reaching hands except now they have bloody wounds, thrown to the side, kicked in the throat, whatever it takes to get them away, get them gone. He needs his Dad. He needs to protect his hero.

Macabre:

His skin itches, right along the bottom of his rib cage, where if he presses it feels like his ribs will push right through his skin in a way that would be a relief, not a terror. (When Izuku truly lets himself dwell upon it, he can feel how it is like claws curling around the bottom of his ribs, digging in, trying to get out-gone-free, no matter what happens to him in the process-)

I feel the need to say that I actually write quite a bit of fluff too? And the comfort part of hurt ^^; These bits are just particularly cool and I already have them!

Anyways-

I don't know if I necessarily have a comfort character but, yep, Zawa's my favourite! His pov is always great to write, and I just really enjoy him as a character, particularly in his dynamics with others. He's also a bit more relatable than a lot of bnha are for me, so, you know :D

Timeframe varies a *lot*. I would say that one good weekend day of writing I could do a chapter or short-ish OS (so like 3-ish k) but most days aren't that productive, and on a workday I might only write 1/4 of a chapter or shorter OS. So call it a few days for most things? If you're talking longfics though, I've been writing the Kidilante universe (main fic is like 450k or something off the top of my head?) for like 2.5yrs, or I wrote a 65k-ish fic in three months, around OSs and stuff!!

Perspectives broke my heart. It really, really did. I spent a few months thinking about those boys, then three months writing them, and I had a very specific song that I most associated with them that is on one of my main commuting CDs. I couldn't listen to that song without getting emotional for another four or so months after I finished the fic.

But, hey, I think I've got through most of my grieving now. I was able to write one of the alternate endings for them (a far less sad one!) earlier this month, which was lovely to do.

Right that ended up very long and rambled, sorry!! But I hope that was interesting for yall, I really enjoyed doing it ^.^/

🏆Most popular fic: ❤️There's Never Been A Moment You Were Forgotten, a Naruto soulmate fic that I really want to finish. It's my baby, but someone was an ass in a review and it really messed me up. You know how it is sometimes. ❤️Gravitational Pull is my most popular Undertale one. It's a first touch soulmate fic, Sans/Reader, and it's got lots of terrible puns and jokes that I actually worked really hard on! XD It's not finished yet, but I know how it ends and I'm getting there! I'm very proud of myself with that one and I actually love it when I reread it! That's very rare for me, so I'm happy with that.

🎨How do you feel about fanart of your fics: EXCELLENT. The last time I got fic fanart, I screamed and walked around the house for a solid ten minutes, grinning and skipping around and super happy. I also may have gotten a tee made of a lovely piece of fanart. I got permission from the artist first! Don't worry! But yeah. I will absolutely lose my mind over fanart of my fics.

🤗Advice for new fic writers: ❤️Write for yourself. Find what you love reading and write that! ❤️Don't delete! It breaks up the flow of writing. Just keep writing and you can edit way later. ❤️Set an easy goal for yourself to get yourself to write every day. I do 500 words, when I'm trying to write consistently. ❤️Don't beat yourself up for not being perfect, or not writing every day, or not following the whole prompt, or whatever, beating yourself up won't fix what you're unsatisfied with and it'll actually make everything worse. You won't gain anything from that, so instead try to praise yourself for one thing you did well! Like taking a good break! ❤️Don't be afraid to be silly in your fics! If it makes you laugh, it's gonna make someone else laugh. ❤️Delete and block and ignore the negative comments - you're doing this for free, and for fun, and you don't owe anyone the brainpower and willpower it takes to deal with their negativity. They can deal with that mess themselves, alright?

💞Comfort character: Hmm. Should I do just Undertale, or?? I guess I'll just list all my main comfort characters. Eames, Kakashi, Stiles, Izuku, Aizawa. And in Undertale - Sans, Rus, Skull, Stretch, Blue, Papyrus, Sugar, Boss, Red, Mal, many other Papyri and Sanses, Grillby, Napstablook, and always Burgerpants.

Listen. I am like, very much in need of comfort all the time and I get it from everywhere I can. I am very able-to-be-comforted. Hence eight million comfort characters.

If I had to pick just one? Hmmm. Sugar. (HT!Papyrus) Yeah.

Wow thank you nonnie!! What a lovely chain to participate in, I love this 💞 my own personal faves change quite a lot as I continue to write more, but here are a couple recs that I’d love to share:

Thief (kita shinsuke/reader) 👹 — honestly still kinda consider this my magnum opus just bc of all the world building I put into it with the demon!au. Out of all of my one shots from this hq thread, I think I’m still most proud of this one the Hinata one is good too but ima keep it to one for this list

Watch Over Me (kirishima eijirou/reader) 🐺 — I cannot tell you how much fun I had writing this. All the emotional layering, tension, and the lowkey animosity of this fic was just such a good time for me. Despite the fact that I’m not the most proud of how I ended it with the last chapter, I still go back to reread this one sometimes (beware of sensitive themes tho)

Fall Into Place (midoriya izuku/reader) 💚 — smth I kinda like to go back to when I can’t fall asleep. I wrote this for a fic trade and went a little crazy with the wc. Def not my usual genre or character but I ended up so proud of it bc of all the emotional development and heart wrenching twists

Shot clock (bakugou katsuki/reader) 🏀 — originally just a drabble that was inspired by a fanart I saw of bball player baku, but ended up becoming so much fun. I love a lil high school clique drama/teen romance, and this is prob one of my fave kiss scenes I’ve ever written 😌💋 (tumblr post link if you don’t wanna jump over to ao3)

No Time to Hide (bakugou katsuki/reader) 👨‍👩‍👦 — if it wasn’t for the kita fic, I think this one would be runner up for magnum opus. I think it’s one of my more popular fics already so I didn’t originally wanna add it to this list but… idk it just has so many things I love in it; drama, tension, slow burn, reconnection, adorable children, and dilf!baku 😔✊ I do find myself thinking about it again every so often so I guess I have to add it to the list

Fics are always such a labor of love, so I’m so happy to get an opp to shine a spotlight on some of my personal faves. What /I/ love most in a story may not always translate over to what The People love, but I will always hype up my fic babies in hopes that others might give them a chance and enjoy them too 😊 thanks again, nonnie! 🌹

Wildest Ride: Hmmmmm. Okay I'll take dissenting opinions on this one by maybe See You Soon? A mafia AU with spontaneous smut is pretty wild. And people have also said that parts of it caught them by surprise XD I think I have some wilder fics coming though lol

Comfort Character: Aghhh this is hard because its so close between Izuku and Katsuki! In the end, however, I'm gonna say Katsuki! I like writing him the most, and art of him fills me with warm and fuzzies. With that said, it is a very, very close call.

Fav Tag: I answered this question a moment ago, but here is a unique answer! BAMF Izuku!! I love writing/reading quirkless Izuku, but I'm honestly only interested if its paired with the BAMF tag! Something about overcoming perceived obstacles to accomplish what you didn't think was possible and make a difference anyway. Also. He deserves to throw hands whenver he wants.
