“Stereotypical-First” Type of Guy

This man is an absolute sucker for romance. It’s obvious that he actually cares and that first date won’t certainly be the last. It all started off as jokes & teasing, until you two developed feelings. So, now you’re sitting with him on a picnic blanket in a secluded part of the beach and it’s around 6 in the evening. He got you a bouquet of your favorite flowers, an item you really like [books, art materials, etc.], and prepared the scene the two of you were sat at. Theres a picnic basket on the blanket, various seashells you two collected all around you two, some petals he placed in advance to set the scene— It was straight out of a movie. He lit up a candle with one of the scents you’ve mentioned was your favorite and it’s safe to say his efforts paid off. Eventually, you two went on a stroll after having a little dinner. You went around the beach and reached the ocean shore— which escalated in an innocent water fight. You guys splashed one another with water and laughed. This guy has good aim so you were really soaked while he was still mostly dry… So he made it an opportunity to give you his jacket/coat, since you were wearing a not so thick dress and got soaked in cold water.

Even the owner is shocked, as he became close friends over the years with this person— and knowing him almost as well as you do (to a certain extent), the thought of him bringing someone over, especially a girl, never would have crossed his mind in his entire life. Which is why he made sure to make everything extra special that night, not wanting to disappoint you and this guy. This guy specifically tells you that this is his favorite place, and he’s brought a very close guy friend of his or two, but has never even mentioned it to a girl. This small and cozy place is hidden in a secluded area, so you two had a romantic night. It ended with him taking you back to your place and a good night kiss. It felt surreal considering you’ve been just friends for so long who has actually had feelings for each other but never admitted until just recently, which led to this first date.

This guy is simple and you stayed for that. Ever since you first met him, it was already made clear that he wasn’t the type of guy to be so outgoing and extra. He likes simple and innocent activities that you two do because it puts a smile on your face, and anything that makes you happy, makes him even happier. And knowing how much you love movies, he decided he’d go ahead and prepare the movie you’ve been dying to see for so long, so that the two of you could watch it at his place. It was just you and him, nobody else, sat down together with various snacks that he noticed you love. It didn’t matter to him what movie it was— comedy, adventure, horror, or even romance, what mattered to him was your enjoyment that night. From sneaking his arm around your waist to cuddling without you even noticing, this guy is smooth and he made good use of it. Your first date lasted for hours because you fell asleep in his arms, to which he didn’t wake you—instead, slept along with you. Some would say that it’s weird to already cuddle and fall asleep together on the first date, but you’ve been so close to this guy for so long that it’s almost as if its just another day.

This guy is rich, he’s filthy rich. As expected from these kinds of guys, your first date is at a classy restaurant that you can’t even pronounce the name of. He picks you up from your house in one of his cars, which he made sure to choose your favorite color & the car you seemed most comfortable in. But he also made sure to choose something flashy, so that you wouldn’t be thinking of any of the other cars he owns. He’s dressed up in a suit, and this guy has plenty of them. His hair is fixed for the occasion and his fragrance is one you can’t forget because of how good it smells, but it isn’t too strong so that it won’t get to your head. He picks you up in the evening, around five. He goes up to your doorstep with a large bouquet of your favorite flowers and chocolates he knows are your favorites. He patiently waited at your door while you were putting the flowers in a vase with water, and the gifts in the refrigerator / on the counter, (because chocolates wasn’t the only gift he brought you). He made sure to be even more of a gentleman than he already is to you, opening the door for you, pulling the chair for you to sit on. And because you’re wearing a dress with little to no sleeves, he gave you his coat.

Your post about Johan pushing boundaries and being a little perv with someone who’s trying their best to keep things platonic haunts me. You tried to cook and you succeeded. Best meal i’ve had in months.

Idk if you’ve read the fanfics by ddarkerdreams (i’m almost certain you have cause we’re all starved for Johan content) but the second one has these moments where Johan just gets unnecessarily close to the reader. Or when he buckles her seatbelt in the car. And ddarkerdreams also made a bunch of headcanons about him where they mention him grabbing the reader’s chin and holding them in place so he can look them in eye uninterrupted.

I imagine at first he’d just keep doing these little actions that are so obviously intimate and definitely make darling squirm, but can also be interpreted as platonic just to gage their reaction or mess with them. And then he’d just slowly escalate. Like he’d go further and further. I have two scenarios in my head:

In the first he’d just push boundaries to see them squirm and desperately try to keep things platonic. This one’s definitely the most in-character for Johan cause he’s a little shit who loves watching people and their reactions like the world’s his zoo or smth. Pre-ending Johan would 100% go for this one.

In the second he’d start with the small stuff and get them used to it. He’d be subtle enough that, despite the actions being obviously intimate and flustering, they wouldn’t realize the escalation. At first he might regularly invade their personal space and just shove his face way too close to theirs when talking. Once they dismiss that as “he’s just like that i guess” and get used to it, he’d start being unnecessarily touchy. I imagine this would be more of a thing for post-ending Johan. Cause after the whole identity crisis mental breakdown thing i imagine he’d be more afraid of having them run away. He could always kidnap them ofc, but having them slowly get more and more attached to him might be preferable. Like i imagine after regaining his identity, he’d be very desperate to have people not only acknowledge it, but also accept it. The jig is up, he’s his own person, others can perceive him, i think it’d be a huge thing whether or not the person he wants also wants him. So subtly getting them attached is him being horrified of rejection and manipulating them into a relationship instead of having to face his fears.

Sorry for the rant but i have no one to talk to about this 😭

Lol this is just self indulgent ramblings and I AM biased since I love him. But if you think about it. Johan is the "least corrupted" out of the 4 crew heads.

Jake did the whole online gambling shtick. We know that ruined some people's lives. And yes he did it for Sinu, he was being taken advantage of the whole time and we know he HATED it. That doesn't change the fact that there are people out there drowning in debt because of this.

While working with workers, Eli and Warren were willing to sacrifice other families to save their own. It is not as "bad" as what Jake did because those other families were gangs as well. And it just makes since for the strongest to survive in that world. One could argue that

But they were also willing to turn on big deal, to burn their street. No matter that a while before that, Jerry was there to help Hostel when workers attacked them. Yes, it was a hard decision to make and the operation didn't succeed in the end. But if it did, then they were willing to live with the knowledge that Jerry reached out to help them in one of their hardest times and they still were the cause of his ruin.

There's also Olly and Samuel and EUGENE and U see my point.

These characters were victims to manipulation or neglect or whatever number of things. But you can be the victim in your story while also being a perpetrator in someone else's story. And listen I love these characters, and some of these actions and arcs were my favourite to read. I am just thinking out loud really.

Now when we talk about Johan we realise he just...... didn't do anything that harmful?

He is far from being morally superior, believe me this guy has issues but his worst actions were being a petty thief lmao but even then he stole shoes 😭 and yeah he worked with gun and took over k house but he didn't do shit to them??? (Kind of inspired and based on The Little Mermaid, just edgier) Note (quick fact!): Sirens are different from mermaids. Sirens are half birds with a face of a human (female mostly) to lure men/sailors and wreck their ships with the use of their voice and singing while mermaids usually keep their distance away from humanity, wanting to live peacefully (at least in most versions). Now I don't know what to call this "evil mermaid" creature that I made up on my mind and it's really tricky to write since sailors get killed by sirens when they are lured by the song so I kind of made it a mix of a siren and mermaid😭(pls bear with me lmao😀👍). You don't know why you were acting like this. Is it because of that mentality when you believed that humans are disgusting creatures who take advantage of mother nature or you being hostile is just part of your natural instincts.

Well, he made your heart pounding though when he helped you carry out the anchor that has been stuck on your tail when you're minding your own business on your cave even though you're already hissing at him almost telling him to back off if you were able to speak the "human-way". It was very unusual for him to be generously kind to other people, let alone a sea-creature. So it's different (almost weird) for his co-sailors to see that side of him. Now you're the one who won't leave him alone when he's out to do his work, you swimming with your full speed to catch up to the big ship even when it's moving at a decent speed. Making him sigh and giving you a glare, almost not giving you attention because of you following him with that puppy-eyes even if you have the fiercest orbs ever.

Him admiring the sapphire-like color of the water as he often gets curious if mythical creatures like mermaids, even the predatory ones like sirens exist. But he never expected to meet a mixture of both.

Unexpectedly, a raging storm interrupted their ride as everybody recruited on their boats "D/N!" He knows it's one of his weakness. He's too caring for others even on the smallest things that can be "replaced" but he knows that the memories won't fade forever. So as risky as it sounds, he went back on the now sinking ship and giving the animal to his body guard before he was quickly swept by the harsh water waves, slowly drowning and loosing his breath. But a miracle happened.

He woke up on the seashore. Clothes wet and some parts ripped. Good thing that he is safe despite getting mild bruises. He was lost in his own thoughts when his assistant screamed for his name to get his attention and asking him if he's alright. Before that, he remembered when he was opening his eyes, he saw a striking face of a female with the familiar color of that specific scales and ear fins before it went away at that moment. He smiled as a warm blush covered his cheeks as he remembered that time when he was younger, he explained that he helped a mermaid-looking creature yet an attitude aggressive like a siren when it's injured yet his servants laughed at him. Now you're the one who rescued him when he needed help. It's unlike in your predatory nature but you've been curious about what he's being doing lately as he's curious about your well being. You often get excited when you see his ship, following the smell of the young man as you watch on the distance, wanting to know things about him. If you weren't so different of worlds, would you make it work out? If you only had legs...

He just wants to experience living of the life of luxury, eating everything he craves for and sleep every time he wants with his family, not wanting to leave them out. He wants to feel peacefulness even just for once in his life but he knows that he needs to focus on his work if he doesn't want to starve for a whole week, a month rather than smelling the stench of the fish that he catches every time he went out for fishing .

He was overthinking again before he noticed a movement on the small body of water that he is near to. "Eh- Who's there!?" He asked as he sticks up his lamp up to see if there are any near predators in the place. He could be in danger. He was surprised to see a tail move upward as the creature swam deeper in the water. He was about to get out when you suddenly grab his legs making him yelp. Your hand is slimy and soft yet the way you grab him was gentle. But he wouldn't risk getting drowned so he got up, ran away while wailing his hands up and screaming. You're just curious about the young man, he looks like a nice guy. Yet you scared him off. He has worked on big projects like mechanicals in big marine transportations that has been successful over the years for his age. Now he wants to explore what lies beneath the ocean.

He got curious when he read about a book related to hybrids of marine animals and humans, basically the mer-folk. He usually doesn't believe in fairy tales (often thinking it's dumb at times in realistic situations). But in terms of creating writing and his curious thinking getting in the way again, he can't help but to consider the possibility that the fish-people even sirens may exist. The past few cases of sunk ships have been very interesting for him nowadays.

He and his crew decided to have a short trip on the seas for him to have a break while secretly working on his research and investigation. Every island and shores have been discovered and dug to find artifacts yet none of it are a provable evidence of its' existence. He was about to give up when a singing voice is heard from the distance. He knew it was dangerous based on the novels that he had checked out, yet the sailors with their stupidity followed the sound and decided to catch whatever is moving under the water. He thought he was going to die when you approached the ship, but instead his weirdness got the best of him again as he ordered the fishermen to release you. It may be the dumb decision to let you go, but it's for the best for your and everybody's safety. He got a valuable evidence of your blood on the fishing hook that was used though.

Yet here he is now, feet feeling the warmness of the earthy-brown color of the sand as he admires the view of the horizon. It is beautiful, almost breath taking as if he is in paradise. But his moment was cut off when the guards noticed his presence on the abandoned place. "OI WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Shit, he's been caught again. He knows that it's probably the time he face the consequences of his actions. But that feeling of adrenaline is getting him excited, again and again as it repeats the cycle of the feeling of a masochistic happiness that he can't explain. He can't let that happen. To be beheaded in front of the pathetic people around him. No, he will run. As fast as he could.

Running away with his swift speed, he managed to escape (once again) the higher ups as he hides on the unfamiliar cave. Laughing to himself yet keeping quiet to not have the guards' attention. He once again admired the beauty of the rocks yet keeping his guard up. He knows that it's dangerous because of what ever is lurking in the dark. And it seems that he is somehow right. He noticed a shadow of, a human-like form with a tail on the water? He can't be serious right now. That living-creature doesn't exist, right? You slowly rise on the water, eyes like snake keeping your attention to the unfamiliar man as he pleaded for his life. "Oi, I don't know what the hell you want but, I"M HERE TO STAY FOR A WHILE SO PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!" He winced as he has his eyes closed ready to be attacked. But as you got up and sat down on the rocky ground, you just kept your attention to him. Your pupils unusually dilating as you got curious about his presence which once again is unusual in your instincts as you attack other people. He heard on the gossip that mermaid-like creatures kills humans. Yet you just sat there, admiring his beauty as he did the same. If he isn't "normal", then he probably found someone like him too. Probably a new friend?

Extremely similar to Goo imo. Would also love to embarrass the kid. Not purposely mind, just he can't keep his hands off or kissing you and no kid needs to see their parents so grossly in love.

An absolute menace, just like their dad. Huge prankster, mostly harmless. Don't get them together with Goo's kid because jfc they would be absolute terrors together. Unlike their dad in his youth, they would respect the shit out of women. You've seen to that.

Probably a little cold and severe, putting a bit too much emphasis on grades and perfection. Despite that, would actually be pretty good. Someone that reads up a lot on how to raise a kid, bonding with them etc etc. to form a somewhat healthy relationship.

Private school little wunderkind. Will grow up with the absolute best of everything and spoilt too so you would need to keep them grounded. Expected to take over Workers. Business acument and ambition will be drilled into them from an early age.

What is there to say about Tabasco that we don't already know. Would dote on them hand and foot. An absolute pushover! Their kid pulls out the puppy eyes and it's game over. Would teach them to protect themselves but probably draw the line at anything more.

Really creative? Vasco would place less emphasis on grades and would help to nurture their interest in the arts. But actually super smart too thanks to Uncle Jace's influence. Tbh I think the kid would be pretty perfect and with the kindest heart and stands up to bullies just like dad!

Zack Lee

So so similar to Vasco. Has all these ideas on what they should and shouldn't do as a parent. Kid pops out, and Zack's a goner. Literally would do anything and everything for their child. Go absolutely crazy with pride if the kid is interested in boxing.

The kid

Would have no game... Like dad. Sorry. Good job they would be good looking af to even it out. Not a huge emphasis on education and grades thanks to Zack's influence. More focused on athletics. A little shallow and arrogant, but a huge softy underneath.

Johan Seong

As a dad

Panic and anxiety from the day their kid was born and every day after. First because of worrying about their eyes, second because he's just not comfortable with having an actual dependent. Tries to teach them about the evils of the world. Eventually chills out overall and reverts back to being the gentle-hearted boy he used to be.

The kid

For practical reasons, taught braille from an early age just in case. But otherwise a mini-Johan but without the trauma. Very softly spoken and sweet. Just an absolute ray of sunshine. Always accompanied by their dog, their bff and partner when a fight arises.

Absolutely loves seeing you in FLASHY colors. He solely thinks that it highlights your skin tone incredibly well and he just loves matching with you whenever he can. He gets himself involved with all your hair appointments, even though they can take up to literal HOURS. He will literally and deliberately sit there and happily watch you without any complaints. Loves seeing your finished hairstyles, whether it’s any sort of braids, extensions, laid out edges, or new wigs that you had custom made— he is absolutely amazed with how it all turned out. This man tries to help you with your hair but really can’t figure it out so he ends up just watching you as per usual, patient and puppy dog eyed. Even if he isn’t used to it, he will try to do your makeup happily if you let him. If you do, he will be overjoyed and start off with your skincare products and the makeup is only after that. He clings onto you like a lost puppy whenever you just got back from shopping or an appointment because you just look, oh sooo pretty and he doesn’t know how to tell you that in words.
