#my art#commission#object oc#Back again with a another lovely commission!!#Full disclosure I almost bit off way more than I can chew with this one hehe#Which isn't necessarily a bad thing/ rather it's just the fact I give myself a lot of details and structures to keep track of#And with me wanting to get things done fast it did put a challenge on me with how much I had to add + add on#All that being said I'm incredibly proud of this!! I just need to let myself slow down and take in all the details in all#The character/design here give me a lot to work with and I'm really glad I manage to capture some of those ideas here!#That and I think this is my largest MS work yet. And if not it's definitely my largest currently#I'd say it mostly the wings that did it hehe#Though overall I hope that the details on clutter aren't *too* overwhelming#I used the wings to as a sort of pallete cleanser. While still detailed they're mostly blank so the eyes can rest of then#Then with the wings naturally trail back to the figure the eye can go back when they're ready#That's what I hoped for of course! Only you the view can decide if such a thing work for you now

I absolutely am proud of the work you do. And I appreciate what you draw no matter what fandoms as it's wonderful. But I'm curious if you're falling interest out of Stanley Parable? I know it's a silly question. But I've seen a lot artists fall out and just wanted to check.

I think many ppl in the fandom went through “narrator to oc” pipeline (me included 😈) and started moving away from the og game
Which is a good thing on my opinion

i bet you could make like a chart of which content creators know each other and what sorta friend groups/circles they're part of and it would just be a HUGE web with a LOT of overlap between groups and it'd be SO messy with just the sheer amount of friendships between creators
#like it's honestly so baffling to me#like i know and am acquainted with fyrus and hackerling through failboat and now theyre appearing in vinesauce highlights??#and apparently boat is friends with vinny who's friends with jerma who sorta has his own friend circle#and also through rubberross boat's interacted with very famous animators on youtube like jaiden and the odd1sout#and who knows what famous creators THEYVE probably interacted with (idk i dont watch them)#oh and also boat's friends with slimecicle who also has connections to the sorta like dream smp group i think(?) who again. pretty famous#and to think that being a mod for one streamer makes me sort of a part of this whole gigantic web of creators#who i could very well become acquainted with someday one way or another. i love lelesu's design, there's so much depth already in the summary in your pinned (the part about her glasses breaking??? and her eye?? had my jaw on the floor. phenomenal); when she learned aethersight with that eye, did she have a teacher? yshtola perhaps? or was she self-taught
hiiiii thank you!! it's like, top tier brainrot, i'm a bit embarrassed about how quickly it turned into a hyperfixation. i struggled a bit through ARR but the moment i got to HW it was all over, lol. i've been sitting here in clown makeup ever since
that's a really good question!! so the point where i diverge from canon a bit for her is that on Ultima Thule, i have her convince Emet-Selch and Hythlodaeus to stay with her and try to learn to love the world as it is and the future that could be, because she recovered her memories of her first life properly there and [gestures] it's a whole thing. it's a bit self-indulgent but i got very attached to the characters and i also find healing arcs to be very cathartic so i decided i was, in fact, going to sneak one in there. Emet-Selch gets to learn how to play nice with people again.
all that to say, she learns it properly from Hythlodaeus (who is excited to have something he can teach her)! i have fun little scene thoughts in my head of him working with her and Y'shtola to also help Y'shtola refine her sight and it wear less on her to use it (because even if the game seems to have dropped the thread about "she's burning her own aether to pretend she didn't go blind" bit i Still Remember It).
(honestly in general i just think Hyth and Y'shtola would get along TERRIFYINGLY well. same with G'raha. someone keep this man away from the nerds)
#asked and answered#ffxiv#oc: lelesu lesu#:D this was fun hehe#it's definitely a *bit* self taught at first - she sort of stumbles on the ability when sparring with aymeric while she's recovering#and trying to compensate for the loss of her sight on one side which makes her peripheral vision shitty#azem was capable of it - though not as strongly as hyth or emet - but that's an old instinct to try to use it#and one she stopped putting any stock in when she got the memories back. because like why would it matter#when she couldn't do it right?? it'd be like trying to rely on creation magic again#just because she *remembers* how to create doesn't mean she's any more capable of it than she was before she got her memories back#anyway the skill is a lot more rusty and difficult for her to use now than when she was an ancient. hence hyth helping her#i'm walking the line between lore-accurate and massively self-indulgent with this stuff but i DO NOT CARE (i care a little)
