Ok ok ok. How would each Ro react to an MC that just climbs into bed with them one night and cuddles up to them, and when asked what’s wrong the MC responds, “I had a dream that you left me behind.” Fluuuuufff pls. 🥺

Roman wasn't sleeping anyway, not without you by his side. As soon as you slip into bed and cuddle up to him, he presses himself against you, sinking into your embrace. When your body is still stiff after a few moments of laying with him, he tilts his head back and asks what's wrong.

"Just a bad dream," you mumble, leaning down to the rest your forehead against his. "You left me behind."

He frowns and pulls you closer to him, tightening his hold on you slightly. "I'm sorry," he replies softly. He brings a hand up to your face and cups your cheek, his thumb caressing over your skin. "I'd never do that to you, though, okay? You're stuck with me forever."

Though she's half asleep, Nadia can immediately tell somethings wrong when you wrap your arms around her and bury your face in her neck. It's not that cuddling with you is out of the ordinary, but the urgency with which you hold onto her has alarm bells going off in her head.

"Tell me what's bothering you," she says, her voice a soothing sound despite being laden with sleep. She lets her eyes flutter shut as she rubs her hand on your back in soothing circles.

You tell her about your dream, speaking the words into her neck and she hums in response.

"I'll always be here for you," she says, combing her fingers through your hair. "I promise."

C is a light sleeper so they wake up as soon as you cuddle into them. They look at you with a keen alertness in their eyes and furrow their eyebrows when they see the upset look on your face.

Before they get a chance to ask, you meet their eyes and beat them to it, telling them of your dream.

They give you a soft smile and wrap their arms around you. "Dream me clearly doesn't know what's good for them," they say before kissing your forehead. "Only a fool would leave someone like you."

With another kiss, they settle back down into bed, falling back to sleep with you securely in their arms.

Ailhbe is pulled from the depths of sleep as you move about next to them. Grumbling, they pull their eyes open and stare up at you questionly.

When you glance away from them and quietly tell them about your dream, the stiffness in their body relaxes somewhat and they heave a sigh.

Without anymore words exchanged between you two, they pull you into their arms, making sure to hold you until long after you've fallen asleep.

I promise it's worth it." Ella knew it was too much but they couldn't help it and they bought all sorts of shit when they were up late and scrolling through their phone. "I may have also gotten some toys for Aaron," they admitted before rejoining Nadia on her couch. "And now I'm here to take you out. There was some big irony to be taken out of all of it, that much was painfully certain. While their marriage had been somewhat on the stable side, they hadn't managed to conceive a child. But now, when both of them were getting ready to continue with their lives, to the best of their abilities... it had happened. The man couldn't pretend that he wasn't happy by the thought, he'd always wanted to be a father, yes, but he'd always wanted to have a child with her. This felt like a late, cruel present. And a lot like a second chance. "No, I'm glad you told me," he relented, taking his glasses off. "This isn't what I expected either, Nadia. But you know... You do know that I want this child, right?" 'And I want you.' But he wasn't sure if he should tell her that yet.

As she closed the door to Brewed Awakenings and locked it, Freyja let out a sigh. It had been a long day and while she was utterly exhausted, she wasn't quite ready to leave the coffee shop yet. Her nightmares had been getting worse as of late -- most likely due to seeing her ex for the first time -- and she didn't want to face the fact that she'd have to sleep when she got home.

"I can stay and clean everything if you have something planned tonight." Freyja said to Nadia. "Or if you want to help, that's fine. I might... hang out for a while." She admitted. "Do you think Willow would mind?"

I'm sure we'll see Chloe and Emine, the Arisons of course..." she rattles off who might be there. "You all would've been so young but I'm sure they'll get a kick out of it." She doesn't say that, in particular, she's searching for photos of Aaron and Bella but thinks they'll find them in this box. @manybcdthings

Character Descriptions

Roman Hensley is a politician of the people, for the people. He's put forward an award winning campaign, coupled with some big promises that he's already proved he's able to fulfill means there's an election win well within his reach. He's got a calm, controlled aura to him but despite the air of invisibility that he puts forward there are whispers of a scandal, a plot, an attempt on the man's life. Good thing you're there to protect him... right?

Roman has a structured face and smooth, golden sun kissed skin. His golden brown eyes are downturned and warm, set beneath thick expressive eyebrows. His lips are thin with a prominent cupids bow and he has a straight grecian nose. His soft brown hair is straight and keeps it cut short. He has an athletic body and stands at a height of 190 cm (6'3).

After everything she's seen and done working as the top psychiatrist for I-DIE, Nadia is as jaded they come. She has a tendency to be pessimistic in her views of the world and a bleak outlook on her own personal life, yet the care and compassion shows for her patients never fails to shine through. Her dedication to helping your fellow agents is the only reason she hasn't quit but with you as her number one priority, that dedication is wearing thin.

Nadie has a slim, diamond shaped face and beige skin. Her deep brown eyes are almond shaped and she has naturally long eyelashes. She has full, heart shaped lips and a button nose. Her black hair is long and wavy, reaching down to the middle of her back and she usually wears it a low ponytail. She has an average body type and stands at a height of 178 cm (5'8).

More professionally known as Agent Redback, C was once the only person you could count on. Kind and charming, full of excitement and equipped with an infectious smile, you were drawn to them like a moth to a flame. The exact reason for your drifting apart is lost amongst all other reasons you're careening closer to the edge of the line but they never once stopped caring about you and they'll do whatever it takes to keep you safe, even if that means taking them down with you.

C has an angular face and medium tan skin with olive undertones. They have hooded eyes that are a greenish brown colour that are typically hidden behind glasses. They have full, oval lips and a bumpy roman nose. They have curly dark brown hair that Carina wears at her shoulders and César wears short. They have an athletic body type and stand at a height of 189 cm (6'2).

As the head of I-DIE, they are a constant intimidating presence in your life. Their stoic silence is sharp and intense enough to put even the most fearless of agents on edge and you are no exception. You're not entirely sure why they still put up with you or why you still even have a job but you're not going to start questioning them now. After all, you get the feeling that this your last chance to get back in their good books and if you fail... well, being unemployed will be the least of your worries.

Ailbhe has a slim face and freckled, pale tan skin. They have green almond shaped eyes, a straight nose and thin, wide lips. They have wavy red hair that they keep cut short on the sides and long on the top. They have an athletic body type and stand at a height of 165 cm (5'4).
