Hey! Thank you for the questions!

This is going to be a long post so I'm putting my answers under a cut.

1). How did you choose their name?

Brooklyn Moore (RCD MC) - I have actually liked the name Brooklyn for a while (idk why) so I picked it for her as I felt it fit. Her last name was picked through a random name generator.

Claire Evans (OH MC) - Claire was actually the first name I thought of when I first thought about changing my name, but so far that hasn't happened and I don't like the name that much for myself anymore so I gave it to her. Evans was just the first last name I thought of.

Adelaide Barnes (OH OC) - Adelaide was another name I thought about changing my name to. But I also thought it was interesting because I have it to where she was born in Australia and there is an Adelaide, Australia. Also Barnes was interesting because at the time I was really into Marvel/Sebastian Stan and I thought it was interesting because DEJ and SS did a movie together so i had chose the last name Barnes because of that.

Catherine "Charlie" Howard (AME MC) - So I had my FC (Leesa Tulley) for Charlie before I had her name. I was also really into Graceland at the time of creating her character (still mostly am) and one of the characters is named Catherine but she goes by Charlie. And then I thought Howard was funny for a last name as then her name is Catherine Howard and Leesa played Katherine Howard in Six.

Briar Boleyn (TRR/TRH/THF MC) - So the name Briar came to mind because one of my favorite disney princesses growing up was Aurora/Sleeping Beauty. And her name when she's hiding away from everyone is Briar Rose so I named her after the disney princess version of Aurora. Then Boleyn was just because I am into tudor history (not 100% into it but a decent amount) and I find Anne Boleyn to be one of the queens I find most interesting.

Odette Foredale (DAD MC) - I just liked the name.

Lillia Thompson (HSS MC) - I honestly have no idea how/why I picked this name for her.

Olive Karagach (HSS: CA MC) - Again, don't know why I chose her name to be Olive. Karagach was because my favorite pro on DWTS is Daniella Karagach and I just like the way it sounds (I was also going to make Olive a dancer at first but then changed my mind).

Emilia Anderson (OH MC) - Again another MC where I had the FC before the name and I just thought it fit.

Daniella Warren (Platinum MC) - Again, I like the name Daniella b/c of Daniella Karagach. Warren is because of Graceland and a character named Mike Warren.

Ericka Montgomery (TPS MC) - TPS gives me The Princess and The Pauper vibes and the barbie version was one of my favorite barbie movies and the pauper's name is Erika but I changed the spelling as I liked Ericka better. The last name was through a name generator.

Lauren Caldwell (QB MC) - Names of former queens in six (Lauren Drew, there have been other queens named Lauren/Loren/Lorren but this she was the one I thought of. And Jennifer Caldwell, which again there is Erin Caldwell who has been in six but I thought of Jen first)

Izi Arnold-Wilson (ROD MC) - I have liked the name Izzy for a while but Izi Maxwell (ironically another six queen/alternate) made me like this spelling better. I don't know why I chose the last names.

Aspyn Brooks (ROE MC) - First name I thought of when deciding to make a ROE MC)

Now that I did this I just realized how many names/faceclaims I have that are of six queens, whether it be Principals, Alternates, or Super Swings (and this isn't even all of them). And they're all from UK queens which is interesting as it is more likely that I would see the US queens before the UK queens (as I live in the US). Just something I find interesting but random.

5). Did they have a pet as a child?

Brooklyn Moore (RCD MC) - Yes. She had one dog.

Claire Evans (OH MC) - Yes. She had 2 cats and a dog.

Adelaide Barnes (OH OC) - Yes. They had two dogs, some chickens, and some fish.

Charlie Howard (AME MC) - Yes. She had one dog (her and her sisters wanted a cat but her dad and brothers are allergic)

10). Free Space #1: Which of your OC's would be most likely to survive a zombie apocalypse? Which would die immediately?

I think most likely to survive would be Claire, Briar, Emilia, and Izi. I think the first to die would be Odette, then Olive, then Daniella.

DFKJSJAFJLSJLKSJLJCKSJFS IM SO GLAD SOMEONE FINALLY ASKED THIS TEEHEE,

i actually have multiple little jumbles of ocs that i've made but there is one that is my favorite so far that i've been working on for years and that is the insanity universe

so sum it up its a little universe that takes place back in 1985 following this main group, 3 teenagers, 3 adults, and the protagonists are jesse wilson (pronounced jess) and amelia barlow, and the main antagonist is this guy named william moore (YES HES NAMED AFTER WILLIAM AFTON I WAS 11)

and you may ask, "erin, what makes this universe so interesting? its literally just some gay weird 80s story?" WELL NONEXISTENT PERSON!! this universe actually has this weird disease thats like a plague and it changed the dna of whatever it takes over, creating a whole different creature, called an insanity, due to their mindless like attitude and them tending to act insane, but that is only the term william uses, the one that the general public uses is the "the red eyed ones" because all of them have on thing in common, their red like eyes, but the eyes vary from person to person depending on the color of the original persons eyes, if their eyes were blue their eyes would be bright red, if they were green/hazel it would be either a dark muted red or a rusty like red, and if your eyes were brown then your eyes would look like a much darker red, almost no difference, other similarities that were found amongst the cases of the red eyed ones was that they all had black blood and enhanced abilities, whether their strength was boosted or maybe their jump power, or maybe they got animal like abilities, it all depends on who gave you the disease, if it was a human than one of your natural abilities will be enhanced but if it was an animal then you get their natural abilities/characteristics, and yes these guys are cannibals, they eat to survive and they eat what they can see, and yes they will fight over their meal, they are like wild animals, and they typically have sharp fangs and or nails so they can rip up their meal much more easily, and other animal like features to actually aid them in their 'survival' they are also compared to animals with rabies, just without the foam

and where did this disease come from? there's no way it was natural! well hate to burst your bubble, it was, keyword, WAS, it died millions of years ago, but there was evidence that it was there, by dried up black blood researchers found, and william got ahold of this information, this very old disease, incurable, dead disease, this intruiged him, he obsessed over it, his main research was over this disease, he attempted to bring it back, just bigger and better than before, he wanted to see what it was like, but maybe his intentions were reasonable, he is a selfish hypocritical psychopath, and sadly his wife didnt realize that until after they had kids, right at his height of experimentation! his first kid, elaina, he took care of decently, still kind of negelctful, but hey, not everyone is perfect, then felix was born, he was finally close to success when felix was born, so he was very much neglectful, then when felix was 12, william finally succeeded, wahoo i guess, but then right when that happend felix snuck into williams office, he was curious to see what his father was doing, and as he did that william walked in, scaring felix, causing him to break something and infecting him with the disease, which i forgot to mention was spread by someones dna mixing with infected dna, whether that be spit blood hair, doesnt matter, so felix ended up hurting his nose, causing it to bleed, and the diseased thing mixed with blood, infecting him just a bit, after that william and his wife got into a fight, felix's mom ended up leaving that night, she tried to explain to her kids why she couldnt take them but eliana wouldnt listen and felix didnt understand and william forced her out, after that william came into felix's room, asking him to come down to his office, to make up for lost times, big mistake, william ended up experimenting on felix, since he was the only one young and stupid enough to fall for william's manipulation, to actually trust william, william cut, injected, hurt, and abused felix for years, and since william was exposed to the disease for so long he ended up getting a little lost, he was not all mentally there, so when felix was punished, the punishments were harsh, one time felix let out one of william's test subjects, who was infact a young 8 year old girl, felix was then locked in his office and william took a knife, cut his shoulder, stuck his fingers inside and took out some of felix's blood to 'experiment with', and somtimes to test felix's abilities, william would for felix and another insanity to fight, this obviously seriously injured felix and scarred him, and of course felix and william would get into fight after fight after fight, always arguing, never ended well,and this lasted for years, until finally william let felix go, he slowed down, and practically abandoned felix, but at least felix was able to go to school again, he attended highschool again during sophmore year, now he's in his junior year, he's 17 with serious physical and mental health issues

there's also another thing called half insanities, basically a 'red eyed one' without the insanity part.....well mostly, they have everything an insanity has, they just seem much more human, but trust me, they're struggling, this is shown through the characters, jesse, amelia, and felix, they're all half insanities (im so clever with names), jesse tho is the one who struggles the most due to the disease, amelia and felix struggle, yes, but they both struggle more with outside problems, and so does jesse, but his mental health has always been not so good, it just then started going downhill when his mother died and he ended up running away due to his dad and stress, ill get into that another day cus ill go over the word limit!!!

So what are the ranks and their meaning in the colonies/guild (sorry I forgot what you called them I just know you don’t call them clans)

Also asking for advice do you think I should make up some ocs? I’m already adding some bloodclan cats in the clans since I doing away bloodclan and some of the cats from warriorClan is going to be born in later arcs..but maybe I should make some ocs to keep the bloodline fresh

Sorry this took so long. 

For the second question, I say add as many as you want or feel you can write. I’ve been adding some ocs for gene pool reasons and some for my own enjoyment of hypokits. 

We need to keep these bloodlines fresh as we possibly can since we know the erins did absolutely fuck all. Just make sure not to add to many but enough to help strength the gene pool. 

They are The Guilds or The Startouched Guild Alliance, though most cats tend to forget the ALLIANCE part. 

Universal roles: 

Commander/Warden/Captain/Chief: the leaders of the guilds, one of the highest ranks one can achieve. They are granted up to nine lives from the stars and bare either a star or moon somewhere on their body. 

Monarchs: these cats are the structure of calmness for the nursery. They are in charge of keeping track of bloodlines.They deem who and who isn’t welcome in the nursery. 

Lieutenant/Head Advisor/Second/Assistant: the second in command of their guilds. Part of the highest ranks. 

Medic/Cleric/Mender/Warlock/Witch: The healers of the guilds. They are tasked with the ways of healing. 

Seers: aside from The Rushing Breeze, these are a rare rank in the other guilds. Typically also known as prophets. These cats have a strong connection to the stars, some say they are half ghost. 

Caretakers/Nurses: these cats are charged with caring for the guilds young. Often tasked with a litter in their care. 

Messengers: cats who deliver messages to other guilds at a moment’s notice. 

Teachers/Drill Sergeants: cats who oversee the training process and are tasked to find compatible mentors for the young cats. 

Soldiers/Rangers: cats who don’t specialize in a specific field of career. The general population of a guild. 

Craftclaws/Smithstones: the crafty cats of the guilds. Whether smelting with stone or crafting with pelts, they are a valued rank for their skill with their claws on something other than fighting. 

Seniors/Veterans: retired cats who have earned their rest.

Specific guild roles: 

The Blazing Forest 

Calvary: the guilds most skilled fighters. Every cat is trained in fighting but these cats are trained to grow past that and display the best of skills of their guild. 

General: the ‘commander’ of sorts of the calvary. The cat who is tasked with choosing the next guild defenders.  

Hunters: cats trained specially in the art of the hunt. 

Battle Medic: a duel rank of medic and soldier. Best of both worlds some could say. 

Cats of The Plaguing Darkness

Builders: cats who work on the camp as a whole. Reinforcing walls and the territory itself. Helping the witch/warlock builds gardens or bogs for herbs as well. 

Spies: the guild’s most deadliest cats. Trained in silence and gathering information from the other guilds. 

Corvid: the speakers of the birds. They are taught bird’s tongue and are tasked with keeping the balance between the birds and the cats. 

Cats of The Rushing Breeze

Moor-runners: the hunt on the surface of the territory. Flushing rabbits for the guild to eat and checking the territory in a basic sense. 

Tunnelers: cats who work in the underground. They create tunnels for escape ways and for hunting. 

Guards: cats who range the outer ways of the territory. Cats who’ll see when you pass to highstones. Trained to always be ready to defend the camp. 

Keepers: cats who learn the languages of other animals such as foxes and badgers and work with them. They keep track of all sorts of traditions and phrases. They also help with trading with outside groups. 

Advisors: Cats who are most likely descendants of Windstar. Next in line to be head advisor. They help organize patrols and help the warden make decisions alongside the head advisor. 

Cats of The Cold River

Instructors: unlike teachers, these cats oversee a specific skills such as fighting and diving. They watch over for that specific rank and help other cats train it to the fullest. 

Divers: cats who dive below the surface of the river to collect seaweed and deeper prey such as crawfish. 

Watchers: cats who look for signs of flooding and any other dangers in the waters. Typically taken by cats who prefer solitude

So this is the second part in that Wen Ning/OC fic (first part here) and also for Untamed Winter Fest Day 8. (Eventually it’ll be up on Ao3, but I want to keep this one in order at least, for a little bit.)

Wen Ning wasn’t sure how to dress for a date that also included tire shopping and three of his students. Granted, he only taught gym, and only coached Aisling in archery, but still it was all a bit muddled. Not that he was complaining. At all. He was just a little out of his depth.

Okay, a lot out of it.

He still couldn’t believe last night had happened. He pressed his fingers to his lips as he stood in front of the bathroom mirror. He swore they still tingled from the feel of Aidan’s own against them. Mr. Tumnus, his white and orange tabby, was luckily the only other living being in the house who could judge him and the blush that just would not die down. 

He desperately wanted today to go well. 

He needed help.

“Just don’t wear all black,” Qingyang said before he could even greet her. “I mean, you like black, so you wear a lot of it, even among all that blue and white at Lan Academy. And it looks good on you, so you should, but today is special. So just don’t wear all black. Throw some color in there. A green. Hell, even a heather grey. A red. No, no, you’ll look too good. Save that for when the kiddos aren’t around.”

Wen Ning didn’t bother to hide his laughter as his sister’s indignant yell came down the line.

“For someone who had me--” Qingyang yelped and then her voice cut off. He heard a door slam shut and then his sister cursing under her breath.

“You love her dearly,” he reminded her.

“Yes,” Wen Qing said.

“And you often say she’s the best thing that ever happened to you,” he reminded her.

“After you, of course,” she corrected.

“She’s only trying to be helpful,” he said.

“She is, but she’s also trying to rile me up,” she said. Another closed door and then a start of the engine.

“Are you driving away? With her phone?”

“She has mine and she’ll catch up,” his sister said. “Stay where you are. I’m coming to you.”

“No, no, you’re in Boston,” he said. “The storm just finished an hour ago.”

“So I’ll be there in three hours,” she said. “When is he picking you up?”

“Noon,” he said.

“It’s seven. Plenty of time,” she said. He heard a loud noise and his sister sigh. “She caught up faster than I intended. I’ll still be there in three hours.”

“The hell you will,” Qingyang said. “The roads are for shit, the storm is moving east, and he needs to do this on his own.”

“But--”

“He’s a grown ass man,” Qingyang said. “Let him be a grown ass man.”

Wen Ning bit the inside of his bottom lip to hold back his laughter as he overheard the struggle. A final victorious cackle signaled that Qingyang had won.

“Definitely Facetime us the outfit choices,” she said. “And give poor Aidan some warning that she’s about to descend upon him like some overprotective fury. I think I’m able to hold her back this time, but she’s probably going to try and crash your second date.”

“Thank you,” Wen Ning said. “For everything.”

“That’s what future-sisters-in-law are for,” she said.

After he’d settled on an outfit--dark green sweater, black jeans, boots that wouldn’t make him slip and fall and make a fool of himself--there had then been a long consultation on his hair. One that had brought Wei Wuxian in as well. They’d all agreed that he should leave it down, but with some strands pulled back from his face.

Gotta hit him with those puppy dog eyes.

That’s what Wei Wuxian had said, even as he went on a twenty-minute long rant about how Aidan was too nice to be human and was probably an archangel in disguise sent to judge the world. Or something. Wen Ning had stopped paying attention after Wei Wuxian and Qingyang started debating about the true forms of archangels.

He kept fidgeting with the tiny ponytail fixed at the back of his head. His hair was always either completely loose or completely up. He wasn’t used to it; he didn’t dislike it, but it was different enough, and enough of a distraction to make him forget his nerves even as Aidan arrived and started the drive into town.

His phone vibrated with a text from his sister.

Stop touching your hair!

He loved her. So much.

“Everything okay?” Aidan asked.

Wen Ning smiled and nodded. “Just my sister.”

“She’s a doctor right?” Aidan asked. “Qingyang’s girlfriend?”

“She is,” he said. “Pediatric surgeon."

"She's amazing!" Una said, the most excited he'd ever heard her. "She spoke at one of the special lectures and threatened to stick a needle in Mr. Lan-Wei's skull if he didn't stop fidgeting."

"They're really good friends," Wen Ning explained to Aidan. "They just have their own love language built on insults."

Aidan smiled at that as he turned onto the road for Mike's Automart. 

"Sounds like me and Catie," he said. "She's my eldest sister. First of all ten of us."

Wen Ning knew he was gaping and couldn't stop.

"Yes, ten," Aidan said. He glanced over at him and laughed, took one hand off the wheel and gently closed Wen Ning’s mouth.

"Told ya he was going to need a chart," Finn said. 

He was very definitely going to need a chart. Aisling's purple painted nails appeared at his side as she waved a sheet of graph paper at him.

"It's just our basic family tree. I ran out of room for cousins and in-laws, but that’s us."

Wen Ning took the paper and his eyes ran over the names. Liam Delaney married Mary Catherine Moore when they were nineteen. From there they had Caitlin, Aidan, Brian, Dermot, then twins Erin and Neve, an apparent long gap where they didn’t have any kids and then based on the birthdates Aisling provided, Una, Aisling, Finn, and Patrick, the youngest, at all of six years old.

“Okay, everybody out,” Aidan said as he took his keys out of the ignition.

“Can we get snacks?” Finn asked. 

“We’re going to lunch after this,” Aidan said.

“Yeah, but can we get snacks?” Una asked. 

“One candy bar each,” Aidan said. “And no soda,” he yelled after them as he followed the three out of the car.

Wen Ning carefully folded up Aisling’s family tree and was reaching for the door when Aidan opened it for him. 

“Hi,” he said.

“You’re very fast,” Wen Ning said. 

“Proper motivation,” Aidan said. He offered his hand up to help Wen Ning down.

“Despite my performance last night, I’m usually not that clumsy,” Wen Ning said. He took Aidan’s hand anyway.

“I know,” Aidan said. “I’ve seen you work. You’re very graceful, but you can’t blame a guy for trying to get five seconds of alone time before the Terrible Trio comes back.”

“No,” Wen Ning said. “I can’t.”

One of Aidan’s hands drifted up to his hair and softly tapped the small ponytail at the back of his head. 

“It’s a good look on you,” he said. “Different, but good.”

“Thanks,” he said, feeling that damned blush starting to come back.

“A.B., can we get the little trees?” Finn yelled from the storefront.

“You can each pick one,” Aidan yelled back.

“A.B.?” Wen Ning asked. He smiled to himself as Aidan’s other hand rested on the small of his back as they both walked towards the store, snow crunching under their feet.

“Aidan Brendan Delaney,” Aidan said. “My father’s called me A.B. for as long as I can remember, but it’s what of those family names, you know?”

Wen Ning nodded. He understood. “My granny. She calls me Qionglin sometimes. It’s the name she gave me after I started competing in archery. She wanted to boost my confidence. And while Wen Ning was a shy, awkward, stuttering mess, Wen Qionglin was a champion--would be a champion. It helped to settle my nerves, to put on that persona.”

“And which do you prefer?” Aidan asked as they lingered outside the store.

Wen Ning looked up into those kind, patient eyes and knew he could tell the truth.

“Part of me will always want that brash arrogance of Qionglin. It took me a long time, but I’m very happy--very proud--to be Wen Ning,” he said.

Aidan cupped his cheek. “If it matters at all, I definitely prefer Wen Ning.”

“It matters,” he said, almost desperate to kiss him again, but not here, in front of an entire store of people looking out at them. “It matters a lot.”

The door opened and a middle-aged man, Mike by his nametag, grinned at them, a phone to his ear.

“Aidan, something you’ve been meaning to tell your Uncle Mikey?” he asked.

“My mother’s on the phone, isn’t she?” Aidan asked.

“She wants to know if you finally pulled your head out of your ass and ‘asked that nice young man out.’” He glanced between them, a huge grin on his face. “Can I tell her it’s a yes?”

Aidan sighed and rested his forehead against Wen Ning’s own. “So, in addition to having shit hours, being responsible for the Terrible Trio, I  also have a family that doesn’t understand personal boundaries.”

Wen Ning daringly pulled back and pressed a quick kiss to Aidan’s lips before he could lose his nerve. 

“I understand,” he said. “You’ll meet my sister soon, and understand just how much I get it.”

“They’re adorable,” Mike said into the phone.

“Give me that,” Aidan said, grabbing the phone. “Uncle Mikey, he needs a replacement tire and a spare for a Subaru Outback 2014 2.5i Limited.” He held the phone against his chest and swooped in for another, soft, quick, sweet kiss. “Don’t worry about Uncle Mikey, he’s nicer and smarter than he looks.”

“Hey, I got some of your baby pictures in the back, A.B. I’ll break them out and show your boy, if you don’t watch that mouth of yours.”

Aidan patted his uncle’s cheek and then walked into the store, phone to his ear.

“Ma? What’re you doin? Come on.”

Mike gestured for him to come inside. The Trio were in front of a rack of air fresheners debating on scents. Aidan had wandered over to a shelf of cushion covers. Two of the shop assistants waved at him, while a woman over in the waiting area sat with a toy-sized poodle in her lap.

Mike brought him over to what seemed like an entire wall of tires. 

He never knew there were so many different types.

Mike patted his shoulder. “Don’t worry, kiddo. I’ve got it. Why don’t you try to help save my air freshener display? Aidan's going to be stuck on that phone for at least twenty minutes, knowing my sister."

Wen Ning had never been happier in his life to be around tree-shaped car air fresheners. 

Aisling handed him her phone. “Uncle Mikey won’t break out the goods, but all the baby pictures are in the family Cloud.” She swiped through various family photos before stopping on one. “I call this the self-fulfilling prophecy.”

Little Aidan, a too-big fireman’s helmet on his head, and a stuffed dalmatian under his arm. It was absolutely precious.

“Want me to send you a copy, Coach?” Aisling asked.

“It’s too quiet over there,” Aidan said. “What are you up to?” He turned his attention back to the phone. “I’m not being suspicious, Ma. Of course, I trust them. No, I only said that once. If you’d seen what they’d done to the kitchen you’d swear they were the devil’s spawn too.I don’t know, Ma, do you have something to tell me? What? No. Ma. Don’t you dare. Please. I take it back.”

Wen Ning’s phone started blowing up with text messages from an unknown number. Containing a plethora of childhood photos. Awkward and embarrassing and sweet ones, too.

He showed the number to Aisling.

“That’s Erin’s number,” she said. “Wow. I haven’t even seen some of these. There are pre-braces pictures in here! I thought Aidan burned all of those!”
