To summarize! WW gets reincarnated in a very distant future where humanity is more settled down in the planet. He remembers everything and decides to keep living his life as normally as he is able to. That is until he meets his neighbor when he moved to a new apartment.

He was an absolute weirdo of a guy who looked just like Vash in so many ways yet was so different in many others at the same time.

He pretends that his system isn’t going haywire every time he is around the man, the one that resembles someone he cared for so deeply in a life that wasn’t his but remembers all too well. He decides to pretend he doesn’t know Vash because he really doesn’t, not this one at least.

Meanwhile, Vash is going through a very trippy existential crisis for seeing Wolfwood again after what felt like dozens of centuries. This could clearly not be him however because, well, he knows why. So he pretends not to know him because wouldn’t that be weird if he acted like he did?

They avoid each other like the plague, the beautiful and horrible emotions that swarmed on their insides too much to bear just by the presence of the other. They could slip at any moment so it was better to evade the neighbor.

The thing here is, that life has never gone how they want it since ever.

Wow what an update! This took a while because uh she does not rewear her outfits very often in this segment of the show, still it was fascinating to see how the style of clothes changes over this time period. Also new to this update I went through and added the smol Ran's that have appeared that I skipped over before :)

This project has been a lot of fun and I intend to continue so they'll be more to come in the future too. In the meantime I want to know people's favourites! (Or least favourites are fun too) let me know in the comments/tags!

As a final P.S I've learnt that some of her merch/promo looks are unique and I was wondering if anyone knows if there's any archive or something of references of those cause some of those are really cute and I'd like to include them.

Coat, c. 1750's, V&A Museum.

Wool with a silk velvet collar. (Though the pile has almost completely worn off it now.)

The description for this coat claims that mariner's cuffs first appeared on 1740's naval uniforms, which I find rather suspect considering I can go to my pinterest boards and instantly find half a dozen examples in 1720's and 30's portraits.

Edit: Ooh, I filled out a feedback thingy and they replied! Apparently I've mistaken some of the cuffs in the portraits for mariners cuffs when they are actually slit cuffs (no extra cuff bit around the bottom) but that a couple of them do appear to maybe be early forms of mariners cuffs, so a little inconclusive and needs more investigating I suppose?
